Friendly and helpful staff. Cleanliness and attention to detail in the room. Value for money. Location close to the centre of the old town, the Art museum, the Tourist office where tours to many chateaux begin and end, the railway station, bars and restaurants, a 8 A huit general store and of course, the river and its walks.

As a 'good value' hotel, there is no lift. Initially there was no wifi but that was rectified.

Lack of lift Plumbing very good! Small bed not a king sized double Lot of noise at night but it was a Saturday of a French holiday weekend!

The great location for local restaurants, comfortable room, nice breakfast and friendly staff.

Noise from the bathroom from the next door room was surprisingly loud (we thought someone was in our own bathroom!) but this didn't spoil our stay...

The reception staff was more than accommodating and helpful.

Lack of "do not disturb" signs in bedroom posed an annoyance.

Close to city centre, economic (good value for money). Staff at hotel were very helpful (specially helping us park the car!)

The hotel could do with some renovation (specially shower Area), if the direction of the Hotel made some investment in decorating this would be a great hotel. There is shortage of parking space outside, but it was great the hotel had private (although limited) parking.

Good location in old part of Tours. Comfortable bed. Clean linen.

65 spiral wooden steps up to my room on the second floor. This was the only way out in case of fire! No lift. Dirty carpets particularly on staircase.private parking was very difficult to access but parking on the street would have been impossible. Peeling wallpaper. No charm. In need of considerable upgrade.I would not go back

Location was excellent.female staff friendly and helpful.

Room furnishings were very poor. Breakfast is not worth waiting for. The male member of staff was unhelpful and dismissive. Don't book parking if you have a large estate you won't get it in.

Very central location, just a few steps from the main (Colbert) street where most cafes and restaurants are. But as it's on a side lane, it's really quiet.

I didn't check the breakfast as in France it's usually not something I'd pay some 7€ (just an example price, I don't remember how much it was in this hotel).

Our room was one of the cheapest, it was clean & just about adequate for our needs . However, the hotel is close to the centre and lots of restaurants.

The room was cramped, the decor dated and the third floor a long way up with a heavy case and no lift.

    Price is good

The double bed is too small for two people. Room is small too and very humid and hot. Feel bad.

Great location close to the historic centre and local bars. Nice and friendly staff and has space for one or two cars in their garage but parking is expensive. Room was very basic and not particularly modern we stayed in the superior room which I probably wouldn't of given it that name :) one issue we had was that we were located at the front of the hotel and the building opposite had loud music on until about 3AM. Our friends stayed at back if the hotel and said it was quiet and their room was spacious so maybe that is key. Cheap if you want a quick stop over.

Loud music until 3pm, superior room not worth the extra and parking was expensive

Great location to explore fabulous Tours.

Only one internet password per room, not good enough for multiple occupancy rooms or using multiple devices.

Brilliant location close to many good restaurants; ability to park car securely; cheap; friendly staff with some English.

Area a bit noisy Saturday night with late night revellers; bathroom cramped and tired with separate loo.

Great location to colbert street the new tram line, old tours and the loire. Had the basics.

I had an attic room and there was no elevator so had to drag suitcase up three flights of spiral stairs. No air con only fan extremely hot and uncomfortable at night as July. Bathroom had a small shower toilst and sink but was the size of a cupboard literally no room to dry yourself in there you would have to come into the room. Very small but other wise ok for short, single person stay.
