Location is superb and outweighs some of the small disadvantages of this stay. Clean bathroom.
No WiFi, needs some touch ups here and there. And you hear your neighbours and the trafic on the cobble stone street. So if you're a light sleeper, you won't have Internet to keep you entertained...
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The location was excellent, so central to everything. The breakfast was very good and the comfortable bed. There are a lot of stairs to negotiate, but the staff carried up our suitcases. The hotel is a very old building with lots of character.
Lovely warm welcome from staff, nice spacious room, spotlessly clean, good breakfast. Very central location overlooking the old church and very short walk from bars, restaurants and the harbour.
No air conditioning so we had to sleep with the window open as it was very hot. We got woken up around 5am by constant noise from delivery lorries and people from nearby bars throwing bottles into a bottle bank - VERY noisy and a poor night's sleep because of this. The lorries stayed outside our window for hours without switching their engines off. The hotel really needs to get at least a fan in each room (or preferably air conditioning) and sound proof windows.
Great location in a quaint, adorable city. The staff was very helpful with luggage!! There are steps and no elevator. Michelle gave us a fabulous food recommendation of A Bouillion Normand which we loved!!! It was a special holiday and busy but don't miss this charming old coastal town!
Parking is limited and we unloaded in front and needed to park a ways away. There are stairs and no elevators.
staff was friendly and superb
Location was perfect and staff was wonderful. Lovely town to visit
center of town location farmers market nearby in morning good restaurants close
Soft, comfy bed, and the outlook from our window on the first floor right onto the Place du Dauphin. Small but very pleasant bathroom, with a very good shower.
The staircase in the Annex was very narrow and steep, making it hard to get bags up to the room. But that's the price for being in a 1600's era building in a medieval town centre.
The room was nice with a nice, fresh design also the breakfastroom, very aesthetic. Breakfast was good, friendly staff.
Lovely hosts and location
Very noisy and rooms very basic
The staff were so immensely helpful and friendly, it felt like staying with friends.
Not much. Staff attention.
Noise from the town. Breakfast. Facilities for relaxation. Lack of convenient parking.
Location, & welcoming helpful staff.
No view from our particular room, only skylights.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great central location in the old city. Charming rooms and hotel.
Trying to sleep with street noise from the traffic on the cobblestone street below and a very hot mattress on the bed.
Extremely friendly staff. Close to amenities and port.
It was difficult to find on-street car parking close to town. Bathroom was a bit tired, with a fixed shower head that made it awkward to shower if you were either tall or short.
The quirkiness of this hotel helps it a lot. It's staff are helpful and overall the hotel was servicable.
It is very tired looking in part. The stairwell which is of course used often by all guests needs the same carpet running up the entire stairwell and the bottom two steps have metal edging that are separated where the steps turns the corner, which leaves two sharp edges, which is not great if you were to trip on these. Facilities for making a cup of tea in your room would have been helpful too.
The staff were very kind to let us know where there was free parking just a few hundred yards from the hotel. I also left my jacket there and they notified me of having found it.
The hotel is vey nice and really well located.
Staff doesn't like Customer, few words no special advises... Wifi no at all..
This hotel is perfectly placed in the centre of Honfleur one minute's walk from the old harbour. Our room on the second floor had a great view across to St Catherine's church and on to the harbour. The hotel is an old building with lots of charm.
We were not in the main part of the hotel so no Wifi. The location of our room on the square meant that there was a lot of noise from people passing by into the early hours and then from traffic moving over the cobbles early in the morning.
A central location Helpful staff
The carpets were very dirty in the room and up the staircase leading to the rooms. Bedding sheets were clean but top cover stained underneath. Happy to pay to stay centrally but not value for money if it's not to a clean standard.
Quaint old building in the centre of things. Pleasant staff. Good price. Good breakfast for the price and lovely service.
No comfortable loung area. Very noisy with door slamming and outside noise-the disadvantage of its central position. We are fit and active but the steep stairs would be challenging to some. Most of the staff smoked and came back inside smelling of smoke-not nice while they are then handling breakfast.
The room was in a building along the road from the main hotel in an ancient building with narrow winding stairs, not for the unfit or elderly. The room was immaculately decorated and clean but very "brown" the room was cleaned every day thoroughly.
The noise outside was awful. Not just the charming market setting up but seemingly all night diners/drinkers and traffic. There was nothing in the room to make a hot drink, probably so that the hotel guaranteed the 12.50 euro per person spend on breakfast.
The location is unbeatable! Shops and restaurants on the doorstep. Minutes from the harbour. Windows opened onto the church square. Loads of French character.
Free parking a bit of a trek. No fridge in room. Reception and wifi in an adjacent location.
Bedroom rather tired, poor lighting, couldn't read a book. TV and spa bath didn't work. 2nd floor bedroom rather difficult to reach with luggage and poorly lit winding stairs.
