Good hotel at the very heart of Arles. Nice, large room with a large, clean bath. The only annoyance was that the light in the bathroom was visible (through a semi-transparent panel) in the room, so if someone was taking a bath, it was very light in the room. |

The staff were great, splendid central location , hotel was clean enough and rooms were a good size (the bath was great) and attended well by cleaners etc. Hotel has a wonderful appearance outside and public areas are charmingly eclectic in their decoration. Breakfast wasn't great value for money, hotel is quite basic in terms of furnishings and facilities in the rooms. For example, if I wanted to press my clothes, I had to do it in their laundry room, and could not get an iron to the room. |

our bedroom and bathroom were spacious. several of the hotel reception staff were especially helpful. the location was a good one. the pool looked quite inviting, but the weather didn't oblige. we had a lovely view of it from our bathroom, along w/a large fig tree. one of the employees was especially helpful in arranging a wonderful excursion to neighboring sights for us, so much so that we went on a 2nd trip w/the same company (provence panorama in avignon) the next day. the hotel, though historic, could use an update to some of the walls and furnishings, including those in our room---the decor seemed tired. i was unable to use a couple of adapters loaned from the reception desk in my room, although i saw one of them had worked in the reception area. |

We were very well located and the room was very spacious. The was enough furniture to put all our stuff in order. It was very noisy outside and the windows didnt protect a lot. Another point was that the building was very old. |

Great central location, good spacious room and delightfully private and quiet pool area This is not particular to this hotel, but i wish more hotels would offer better rates to the single traveller. I would travel more often on my own and in this case would have stayed longer, if it was not so expensive being the sole occupant of a room |

Charming old hotel with delightful walled pool in the centre of Arles. Attractive building in an excellent central location - very convenient, with very helpful and friendly staff. Parking limited and the one-way system in the centre of Arles is very hard to fathom if you're coming by car. We visited in mid August and found the room extremely hot and stuffy at night (no fan or air com). |

The hotel is well placed to explore Arles and the surrounding district. It is an old, but well refurbished hotel with really friendly, helpful staff. The bar is large and has a pool table. There is a small pool that is open from morning to 9pm at night. The pool is in a walled garden that contains lovely plants, with plenty of tables, chairs and recliners. Our bedroom overlooked the Place du Forum, and was extremely spacious, furnished with antique chest of drawers, writing desks and the bathroom was breath taking. A huge antique porclein sink, good shower and a bidet. The decor throughout the hotel was excellent. All very spacious. We have stayed here before, and would do so again. Good value for money. Nothing at all. |

The swimming pool is pretty and a bonus as the hotel is in the town centre. The antique furniture in the rooms and lobby areas. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. |

The staff was very friendly. They gave us recommendations on where to eat and what to eat. The owner told us about some great wines from her home town. The hotel was great, but as lots of people said, getting there was a real problem - we got lost a number of times. We had trouble finding the street signs. |

We were very happy with the great location for visiting Arles. with all the restaurants at our door step and walking distance to the Tourism information centre, the river and all the shops and historical sights, it was perfect. the room was comfortable, bathroom more than adequate, staff friendly and helpful, especially as there was always someone available who spoke English. |
