Hotel Du Globe  

The location of Hotel Du Globe was perfect. We were in walking distance to the major sights and sounds (I.E. Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, Louvre, etc...). The latin quarter has amazing food as well. This was important, given that my partner and I were total foodies. Our first room was terrible. However, the staff was very understanding and upgraded us to the first floor. That room was very satisfactory!

When we first arrived to the hotel, we were given a room on the fourth floor. Their main website said that their rooms include free wi-fi internet, as well as all the basic amenities. We were completely surprised to see our room. It was tiny. The bathroom was part of the room, separated only by a curtain. There was a lot of dust all over the walls, especially in the corners. The tapestry on the wall had stains on it. The shower was really cramped. Mold was growing all over the shower door. Our hair dryer didn't work at all Lastly, there was absolutely no wifi!!! For the amount of they charge per night, they could fix some of these simple issues.

The room we were placed doesn't have a window! There wasn't light in the toilet. We've asked staff to find somebody repaire it 3 times, but it hasn't been repaired. Never again to stay in this hotel.

4th floor without a lift; wi-fi didn't work; primissed me a big double bed but when I arrived told that all the beds were litle; no mini-bar; no facilities; room and wc with no space at all!!! the worst choice you can make

Rooms very small , and bathroom not for normal size people..

Wifi does not work at the top floor. Had to change rooms the next day.

The evening staff was exceptionally helpful in restaurant selections and advise for timing to visit tourist attractions. The staff were very friendly, accomodating, and solititous of our needs. Locaiton, location, location. Great for walking the 6th arrondisement....easy access to the Odeon metro stop....lots of atmosphere.

No elevator or air conditioning. Clealiness an issue for me.

Location was excellent - close to metro and sights. Quirky but small room. Good, hot shower.

Our room was located on the ground floor, right next to reception and opposite a bar so was noisy at night and in the mornings. Bed was lumpy. Expensive for what you get but then again it's Paris.

Jättemysigt litet hotell med grymt läge! Vi bodde på vinden I ett mycket litet men väldigt behagligt rum. Från det lilla fönstret såg vi ut över takåsarna och Eiffeltornet. Vi var mycket nöjda!

La proximté des commercres et restaurants/bar

Aucune relation commmerciale de la direction au seul intérêt de rentabilité. Espace salle de bain + toilettes inexistant, tapisserie d'un autre temps. Je ne retournerai pas dans cet hôtel

J'ai aimé sa belle situation geographique dans le quartier St Germain , et la gentillesse discréte du personnel de l'hotel .

Je n'ai pas aimé l'etage (4è) trop haut sans ascenceur , le prix excessif des petits dejeuners , et la salle de bains-placard minuscule , separée du lit par un simple rideau .
