This hotel is excellent if you want to be outside of the chaos of the tourist centre. Friendly saff, park nearby and lots of small caves and bakeries.

You shouldn't mind walking because the metro is not close. All major attractions are quite far away.

We were given a very warm welcome on arrival and all the staff were very friendly & courteous. Our room although small was very comfortable and very clean. It was important for us to have acess to free wi-fi - very much appreciated. It got rather hot & humid while we were there so it was grwat having the air-conditioning

The only negative was that our room (204) had a shower screen that was not fit for purpose so the bathroom got flooded every time we showered. This problem really needs to be fixed or it will start to ruin the flooring in the room.

Located in a great area; Elevators; Friendly staff.

Room was very small; No fridge in room; Small bathroom; Coffee and milk supplies for room had been used and there were no refills.

Loved the price, the hotel overall - clean, comfortable, new, sweet small touches and a staff that was very accommodating. Location was nice/safe. Highly recommend this hotel.

Took taxi to go out to get to a site - and then walked all day - then took taxi back to hotel. I could have done a bus but I do not speak French well so I did not want to take the risk of ending up on a bus longer than I needed to.

Located near Rue La Convention, the hotel is a short walk to the metro line 12. The Eiffel Tower is a 30 minute walk and there are loads of cafes and restaurants nearby. Hotel rooms are comfortable and not too small, good value for Paris. Tip: Japanese restaurant and Rosso Nero on Brancion are very good!

We were unlucky enough to have very noisy neighbours 3 nights running. The walls are not as sound proof as the hotel thinks.

Nice staff and lots of shop/restaurants locally. The family room for four was spacious. Parked outside which was free at weekends.

First night they had overbooked family rooms so we had to take two rooms on different floors. Difficult with young kids and one suitcase! They offered as free breakfast to say sorry

Superb cleanliness. I loved the novelty of a kettle/tea/coffee in a Paris hotel room; windows that opened; a hot and effective shower (if compact); a couple of English non-news tv channels; a desk, mirror and powerpoont in convenient proximity; excellent (free) WiFi; room service breakfast with no service charge; plenty of well-priced eateries on the doorstep.

There's no denying the facilities are small, but perfectly formed for sure, and it's Paris after all...I've paid much more for far less! And breakfast could be better, but it would probably cost more then too.

This Home Moderne hotel is one of the best 2 stars hotel I ever stayed in !!! comparing to the price, location and service, it worth to be 3 stars hotel. One more thing to add: I truly recommend the night watchman where I wish that in every hotel we can find people like him. Respect !

We rented suite 209. Check-in was fast and courteous. Parking nearby at 15 euros per day which is decent for Paris. Surrounded with cafés, restaurants and bakery. Bus 300 feet. Metro is 5 minutes walk. Eiffel Tower is 10 minutes by bike, Velib stand is around the corner.

Nothing really except some idiots honking sometimes late at night. This is Paris, the hotel is not to be blamed for that.

The front desk staff were friendly and very helpfull. The hotel is clean and neat. Loved the breakfast in the morning. This is a five star budget hotel. Will definately come back!

Was a bit of a long walk from the metro station, but there is nothing the hotel could have done about this so it isn't a criticism of them

The atmosphere was excellent. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a nice area with many shops and close access to the metro.

our bed was not level. Our feet were elevated above our head and the bed sharply sloped to the middle. Besides this, the stay was excellent.

Everything was just great! Friendly stuff, cosy room. I will definitely recommend it!

The pillows were my only complaint - they were rubbish.

This was the third visit to the hotel. The welcome is always friendly, the rooms are spacious and very clean. Good internet connectivity. Hotel is in a quiet and very safe residential neighborhood which is typically Parisian. Reception is always able to recommend restaurants and give directions. We will be back again and again.

Breakfast is a little overpriced for what is on offer. Better bet going to the corner boulangerie for a freshly baked pain au chocolat!

Room just a little bit too small

Clean rooms and very friendly personnel. Not very far from metro (about 15 mins walk, which is ok). Easily getting to city center. Quite a safe neighborhood. We found we could put wine and stuff out of the window to keep it cool, since the fridge is missing - so that's a substitute :-)

A bit too expensive for what you get, since we stayed in 4* bw Opera Batignolles right before coming here, payed the same price, but got twice as large room, a bath, a fridge and carpets in the room with breakfast included. Here breakfast is 10Eur pp. The bed is queen, not king (but that's indicated in hotel details).

Staff were super helpful and very friendly. They really went out of their way to help us whenever we needed it. Loved the flatscreen tv in the bedroom, we even had the English channels. Lovely tea and coffee facilities. We enjoyed a lovely cup of hot chocolate when we arrived at out room. Lovely little touches like that. Rooms very clean.

Little bit far out of Paris.

It was convenient location for what I needed, although far (12 min walk) from the nearest metro station. Staff was nice. The price is ok for Paris.

The bed was small - only queen size. Windows were bolted in the room and did not open. The shower doors did not close properly so the tiny bathroom got a bit flooded every time.

Staff at the reception was polite, friendly and very good. Room was nice and clean.

Only problem is that is a bit far from first Metro station ( 15 minutes walk ).
