Built in 1599, the Hotel du Lac is a former sheep farm. It offers accommodations with private bathrooms with free Wi-Fi and free parking in a country setting. The air conditioned guest rooms have individual balconies and some rooms have views of the lake. Each room has a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. In addition, the hotel has 10 chalets. The hotel’s restaurant features a lakeside terrace and serves fresh, regional produce and a range of local wines. Guests can also enjoy a drink by the fireplace. My wife (Jill) and I found your hotel to extremely welcoming. Sam on the front desk, waiting restaurant, was very helpful and polite. Overal we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this anyone visiting the area. Pete and Jill Work men engaged in construction during breakfast when guests are having breakfast.

The location on the river. The restaurant was excellent and i had one of the best meals I had while in France. The position is disguised behind a motel type accommodation and the sign to the Hotel itself is therefore ambiguous. French friends dropped me off at night, after hours ofd front desk services and as it was unclear to me, with luggage which I wasn't prepared to lug around to investigate the surroundings,I mistakenly used the automatic receptionist facility next to which i had been mistakenly dropped off. This cost me therefore double accommodation costs for the first night and in a fairly second-class motel, ratheer than the extremely pleasant first rate Hotel du Lac. Distance from centre-ville was a small problem as locating a taxi in Foix itself can be extemely difficult. The 3 km walk back to the Hotel in very warm August can be tiresome.

Ideal for our short break with our dog. Beautiful relaxing scenary and cute little wooden chalets. Not luxurious but perfect for what we were looking for. Loved it and would go back again and again with our dog. Breakfast for €9 was probably a little pricey for what you get but it does the job and the bread is incredible fresh.

Nos han cobrado la estancia entera con la tarjeta que dejamos como garantia, el pago lo hicimos en metálico en el hotel, cuando llegué a barcelona vi en "la caixa online" que me habían cargado la estancia entera con la visa electron que dejé como garantia. He reclamado por teléfono al hotel du lac(foix) al sr samuel y he hablado con mi banco para solucionar este desagradable problema. Esperamos que ustedes también se hagan eco de esta situación de pago doble, gracias. Jaime

Le geste commercial du responsable : petit déj offert 19€60 + 5€ pour le chien Le très mauvais rapport qualité/prix .Les chalets sont en réalité de vulgaire "mobilhomes" bon pour les vacances en gîtes, mais en aucun cas pour de l’hôtellerie lit clic-clac avec matelas de camping, petite salle de bain sans chauffage et sans produits, deux verres en plastique et c'est tout, chauffage bruyant, aucune possibilité de se faire un petit café, pas de couvertures et cerise sur le gâteau, aucune des 6 chaines françaises sur la télé ... un ymca en quelque sorte. Le geste commercial a évité un débordement de colère justifiée de ma part

estuvimos en 2 chalets, (bungalows) cuentan con unos diez,a pie des este hotel. limpieza absoluta, jardin fantastico y sobre todo el lago bajando un camino a 50 metros: Muchas aves.Se puede practicar canoa. el recepcionista arisco.

Correcta relación calidad-precio sin desayuno (para ser domingo de semana santa). El desayuno se puede tomar en una panadería-pastelería a 1 km y pico en dirección a Foix, a un precio aceptable. El aparcamiento no presenta problemas. La ubicación a unos 4 kms del centro de Foix obliga a desplazarse en vehículo para acudir a la ciudad. Carece de ascensor, subimos el equipaje a mano por las escaleras (tiene 2 plantas). En verano puede haber mosquitos dada la proximidad al lago, las ventanas deberían tener mosquitera.

un seul menu proposé,à30euros,plat à la carte à 20€ très peu copieux. vin hors de prix pour qualité médiocre. Une minuscule serviette par personne dans la chambre. Porte de cabine de douche hors service. Lit à ras du sol avec literie non adaptée à la dimension du lit.
