Hôtel Du Louvre

The hotel has an excellent location- center of Paris! 1min - Louvre!

Very nice hotel, beautiful;

The Junior Suite was clean and comfortable for the business traveller.

Trying to get a taxi was extremely difficult.

The room was excellent and the location was just what we were looking for.

To be in the center of Paris best place

Friendly, helpful staff, lovely room, and most comfortable bed ever. Very helpful concierge. Best location for site seeing in heart of Paris right across the street from the Louvre. You can walk to the Place de la Concorde, L' Opera, and to Notre Dame along the Seine from here. There are two metro stops right next to the hotel. It is also interesting to note that this hotel was a location in a Sherlock Holmes novel.

Price of food in the hotel restaurant was a bit expensive, so, we ate breakfast right outside the front door to the right in the Cafe de la Comedy for a fraction of the price.

The location was fantastic with the metro on the doorstep. The hotel bar was intimate and luxurious. The staff werre very courteous and obliging.

The room had paper-thin walls and you could hear normal conversation from the next room.

Room was hot. The AC didn't work. Had to sleep with the windows open, which made it noisy.

Position, spacious rooms and confort (very confortable bed). Very good service.

The bathroom was rather cold as there was no heating unit in that space

There was no hot water - had to have a clod shower and shave

Sono stata sistemata in una junior suite (anziché la deluxe prenotata) semplicemente splendida, molto spaziosa e arredata in modo sobrio ed elegante, dotata di tre enormi finestre fino a terra con una panorama meraviglioso sulle due piazze e sui tetti (fino al Sacro Cuore...); bagno completissimo e raffinato, con tanto di finestra sul Louvre; bellissimo, d'ora in poi tornerò sempre lì, anche per la posizione eccezionalmente comoda! Quanto al rumore, con le doppie finestre si avverte solo un brusio di fondo e qualche tremito al passaggio (credo) della metropolitana, ma ero all'ultimo piano. L'hotel è molto frequentato e vivace, con un bel bar per gli aperitivi e la brasserie dove è anche servita la ricca colazione.

入室時に、前の客のトランクなど置きっぱなしだった事に対し、勘違いをしたのかホテル・スタッフがトランク- を一緒に外に運べと不機嫌な感じで指示し、とても不快な思いをした。ツィンルームのリクエストに対しダブル- ベッドだったための変更にかなり長い時間が掛った。
