I loved the staff it was very clean very comfortable very professional love that the Louvre is just across the road loved the position
The location, heritage of the building The brasserie
Room decor looks worn out. Curtains not closing properly, while originally the rooms would have had high ceilings lower ceilings have been put in which makes the room seem small.
I left my coat in the hotel and had to communicate with the staff from the UK. They were very obliging and my coat was returned to me within 1 week via UPS. Unfortunately it cost me over 100 euros.
I must have got one of the old rooms which I was very disappointed with. On the first leg of my journey I stayed near the Gare de Lyon and found that it was far less expensive than the area that this hotel is in. I have stayed in other Grand Hyatt hotels before and they have been very high standard.
Friendliness of staff
Location in the downtown, 2 minutes walk from Louvre. The hotel is nice, the room decoration isok, and the internet was fast enough. The staff was very friendly and receptive to my needs.
The room (like in other hotels in Paris) was very small
Absolutely NOT a 5-star hotel, it is a good 3+. I did not expect it from Hyatt absolutely ((( 1) worn out, old rooms and furniture (we had also a problem with a safe-box that did not open and had to call security); 2) too small rooms (it was really uncomfortable even to dress up); 3) too expensive breakfast - 30 euro pro person; 4) internet connection is good but we had problems with connection of our devices as our given passwords were not valid; 5) maid forgot 3 of 5 days to leave us medium towels; 6) no possibility to pay a taxi on reception; 7) the staff on reception even were not saying "hello" when you come - it is not a 5 star service.
Close to Metro/Louvre museum/shopping. Good & safety location.
Dinner in hotel - service good but the food not we expected. Little bit high ranked. The hotel was old but renovated well & clean. Not a grand hotel.
location is the best point about this hotel. The size of the room was satisfactory. We did not try the breakfast as I find paying for it in a 5* hotel is unnecessary. wi fi was easily accessible and the room was clean and neat. soundproofing is good
Location, service, staff, breakfast and wi fi excellent. Rooms are big which is unusual in Paris. Close to all shopping and excellent restaurants. The concierge was superb.
I don't think the hotel qualified as. 5 star. It needs a refurbishment but notwithstanding that we enjoyed our stay there.
Our room was not ready when we arrived, which was annoying. However we were directed to the lounge and given a free drink for our inconvenience and after returning from dinner, elsewhere in the city, the duty manager had left a personally signed note of her regret for our delay, and a bottle of wine to boot. This was great service. We didn't even complain. The manager did it on her own initiative. Very admirable. Have stayed there twice before, on rugby trips, and would definitely recommend it to any visitor. Great location.
Rooms a tad small.
Find the fact that a 5 star hotel does not have tea coffee in the room a little strange.
They charge you for something u didn't use and without getting back to you. Don't give your credit card to them they start charging the way they want
They are hungry for money without good service
Perfect location for a short stay as the main attractions all within walking distance. Staff v helpful and obliging great restaurants nearby
Rooms not necessarily reflective of the price tag!
Needs to be refurbished. the interior is too old.
Friendly and helpful staff. We went for our 25th anniversary and stayed 5 nigfhts Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed five nights for our 25th anniversary. The hotel guest relations mgr, Florence, sent up a bottle of champagne on ice when we came back one night. We went to a nice restaurant and they surprised us with a dessert and a candle at the end of our meal, again thanks to the hotel. Our room was small but well appointed'. We were on the fourth floor faxing the courtyard and it was very quiet. There was AC, modern bathroom, mini bar and safe in the room. Extra towels given when we asked. The concierge couldn't have done more to make our stay perfect.Eric and Thomas were especially helpful. When we first arrived it was drizzling and they appeared with umbrellas for us. I asked for an additional adapted and was provided with one. Overall, great service, nice room, and great location to stay for first time visitors, Gue
The breakfast buffet ran out of food. By 10:10:15 on Sunday even though it was supposed to go to 11:00. They begin cleaning off the food by 10:50! There weren't enough copies of USA today or Int'l NY times by the concierge desk. A couple of bottles of water in the room would have been nice.
location is the best. really close to everywhere in Paris by foot and by metro.
The room is cozy but very small for their price
Excellent Central Paris location. Friendly ,knowledgable staff. Hotel was everything we expected. Would stay again and recommend.
Bed uncomfortable ( our preference is a harder mattress ) Parking / drop off facilities poor if you attempt to drive to hotel. This is central Paris however so would not recommend using own transport.
This is a horrible hotel, it is outdated, dirty, smelly, nothing functions well. Wake-up call never was done, we almost lost our flight.
Centrally located, within walking distance to most city attractions.
Bathroom large but had small narrow bathtub/shower and only one sink.
Best location, historical and comfortable hotel. For couples is it the nice and romantic place to stay, for families with kid as well. We were very satisfied
Price/Quality Bathroom a disaster
Our first trip to Paris. We requested a room with a view to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was absolutely splendid! We were more than pleased by the location, the Louvre, the Seine, Opera, Eiffel Tower, all accessible. One evening we walked to the Left Bank for dinner. "Thank-you" to Benjamin and Julian who patiently got us oriented. Only negatives were prices at the relaxing bar. The breakfast buffet was Paris pricey, too, but womderful selection and delicious.
great location....but the old lady could be spiffed up.... in the halls etc....
shower nor one sink drained well. commode in a different part of the room than the bath.
Central location, helpful staff.
