Hotel Du Nord    

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. The optional breakfast for 8 Euros was good value including juice, fresh fruit, cereals,yoghurt, croissant, breads, jams, cheese, coffee, tea or hot chocolate in a comfortable breakfast room. Hotel is ideally located in the city centre a 10 minute bus ride from the Viotte train station and 200 m from the bus stop.

I found the bed mattress too firm.

I like very much the location of the hotel. staff, breakfast is simple, but good.Is a old one, but has all necessities. Wi -fi is excellent.

The floor is too noisy, is of wood floor with carpet, Ask for an apartment in last floor, a silent one.

We are ver fond of this hotel and know it well. The staff are great- friendly and welcoming and very welcoming

I stayed in the Hotel Du Nord whist visiting my wife who was working in the area, whilst the hotel is only classed as a 2 star it was very very clean, the staff were very helpful and the location in besancon is excellent. The rooms are a little dated but if I was travelling in Besancon again I would ot hesitate to book here again at such low rates.

Just a good all round hotel.

The accomodation was sub standard. I must have got a review of another hotel in my head when I made the booking online. Parking is not actually at the hotel which was not mentioned in any write-up.

The hotel location is very good in city center.

Access to the hotel by car unexplained general. We arrived and we got no entry traffic sign.

Good for one night.

We arrived from the train at 9:30 am, before our room was ready. We were able to leave the bags while we went to visit the Citadel. When we came back all 4 bags, (heavy backpacks) had been delivered to our room! A wonderful surprise. They had a nice room for 4. A very good family value.

No air conditioning, as it was 35c we needed it.

Auto parking was not close and the system was poor.

Everything is good Perfect location

The staff were helpful and came with us in our car to show us the car parking for the hotel. Room was clean and the hotel was quiet. Ideally placed for exploring the city.

Great location, secure private parking in nearby garage (though spaces a bit tight), really spacious and comfortable room with added bonus of a small balcony. Good value for money, unpretentious, friendly staff

Very traditional French hotel, very well run, by friendly, helpful staff. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast simple but fresh and good value. Ideal central location for visiting this beautiful town.

Its location in city centre makes it a perfect place to enjoy the city withouth using public transportation. The staff is very kind and helpful.

Walls are too thin, we could listen our neighbor snoring and walking. It will be better to have some facilities in the room like tea or cofee pot, glasses or so.

Nice, accomodating hotel in the heart of the city. Walking to restaurants possible.

Good location, in the middle of the town. There was even a bar close to the hotel. There are alot of stores and restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable.

The floors were squeaky, we could hear people walking up the stairs and moving in the floor above us, and the decor is a little outdated...

Clean, easy to find and very central to all the local town amenities.

At €7 breakfast was a bit sparse
