Hotel Du Parc

We stayed at this hotel for one night while in France. This hotel is a bit dated in decoration, but we found it very clean, comfortable and the staff were very helpful and spoke very good English. Breakfast was brought to the room in the morning - we just made a phone call to reception when we were ready. I have already recomended this hotel to our friends that live in France and are thinking of going to Arcachon for the weekend.

The secluded surroundings and nothing pretentious.

The lift does not get down to the car park.

old fashioned and out of date bedrooms and bathroom was antiquated and not in keeping with the star of this hotel-no restaurant-breakfast poor and served in bedroom because there is no dining room. Poor facilities over all. The number of stars awared to this hotel does not represent the facilities one would expect. The amount charged for two cups of tea served was exhorbitant.

The room was quite stuffy at night when we had to wind the shutter down - no air could get in. It would have been useful to have a curtain as well as a shutter. Also en-suite bathroom had shower head but no shower rail or curtain. This meant you had to hold the shower head above you and try to have a shower whilst getting water all over the floor. Useful to have a shower rail and curtain.

L'hotel est bien situé (à 5mn à pied de la plage). Le petit déjeuner servi en chambre sur le balcon est très appréciable. Le personnel est gentil.

Seul petit hic c'est qu'il n'y a pas de protection pour la baignoire, pas facile de ne pas mettre d'eau par terre.

Ci siamo trovati meravigliosamente bene. Ottima l'accoglienza e la cortesia,silenziozo, ampia camera e bagno con tutti i comfort.Immesro nel verde di una pineta e a pochi passi dalle spiagge di Arcachon. Abbiamo trovato molto gradevole e romantico la prima colazione servita sul terrazzo della nostra camera.

La limpieza, la tranquilidad del entorno, la amabilidad del personal, la magnífica terraza de la habitación. Evidentemente no es un hotel de diseño, ni moderno, ni siquiera podría decirse que bonito, pero es funcional y muy bien administrado.

Ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk en zeer informatief betreffende de vragen die wij stelden t.a.v. goede restaurants, busverbindingen etc. Kamers zijn gerenoveerd, prima bedden en ruime kamer.Het was even wennen dat het ontbijt op de kamer geserveerd werd maar ontbijt was voldoende: koffie of thee, jus d'orange, croissant, boter, jam en twee bolletjes.
