I just wanted solditude, some me time after a very busy business period. This small and beautiful hotel was perfect as were the staff Breakfast was delightful. In a very central area of a hip arondiesmant of Paris
Beautifully decorated and located. The staff were very helpful and knew the area and Paris very well, so their advice was always good. Had everything one needs for a holiday, a lovely room, honesty bar and cool vibe.
The internet was very unreliable and on a number of occasions I had to go to the lobby to access it. They gave me another network address (with a ridiculously long password made up of numbers and letters, about 24 characters) but this didn't work in our room which was on the 4th floor. These days when you need to check things out online, it is pretty inconvenient when it doesn't work!
Wifi connection was poor. Was unable to connect any of our Apple devices.
The location was just wonderful, I loved the neighbourhood! The staff were so helpful. The room was great, I particularly loved the bathroom, very quirky.
There were no tea-making facilities in the room, which was a shame.
The decor was quirky and wonderful, with pattern and colour clashing but inspired. The breakfast was served with wonderful presentation by madame who was très gentile. The bed was comfortable and there was always something interesting happening out the window. The hotel is ideally located in the Haut Marais with its proximity to great little boutiques and inviting restaurants and cafes to while away an hour or two with coffee. Several Metro stations are not far which makes accessing other areas easy. The staff were extremely helpful. I'd love to stay there again if I'm lucky enough to revisit Paris.
There wasn't anything to dislike!
Location Staff Trendy
Decoration bath, breakfast, and location.
Location, Staff, individual Design, Hotel has just a few rooms, nice French breakfast
Coffee could be better!!!
The hotel was nice and the staff were nice. The location was good.
The hotel is way overpriced. It does not provide higher value for a price twice as high as many others in the area. I would still recommend it as it was a good experience overall.
The design of the hotel and its room is a mixture of vintage / modern / art which I adore very much. The hotel staff speaks fluent English and very helpful !
My arrival flight to Paris was in the late evening. By the time I checked in the hotel was already midnight but room service is no longer available at that time. It would be very nice if there are some croissants inside my room. The next morning, I ordered a continental breakfast from room service. I was in hurry so I kept a basket of pastries on top of the fridge so that I could continue to eat when I was back. But it was gone :( I didn't appreciate food wasting !
Small hotel, excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Location great for us, can walk to many attractions or use metro. A very enjoyable stay.
The rooms are comfortable, quite modern, but a bit eclectic. The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood with several boutique shops and many small restaurants. Since the hotel only serves breakfast, the staff will gladly make recommendation and reservations for mid-day and evening meals. You can easily walk to several major Parisian sites. If walking is out of the question, a Metro station is within two short block of the hotel. You can catch the #8 line there.
This particular locate was the best for us to browse the back streets shopping in great boutique stores, eating in local brasseries and restaurants, and accessing the city transport,
There was no drawer space, and very little room to hang clothes - this was all out-of-the -suitcase living.
Fantastic location, right in the heart of the Marais!
The interior design of the spacious room was very inspiring and met our expectations.
The bathroom while spacious with two separate sinks shows obvious signs of age. We would not have expected the amount of bus tour advertising flyers at the front desk of such a design oriented hotel.
A delightful, fun hotel in a very chic and elegant area of Paris. My room was very comfortable and quiet and had a wonderfully bizarre design, a mix of 18th century and the fifties. The staff were helpful and pleasant. There is no restaurant but the area is bursting with cafes, bars and restaurants. I tried room service which was efficient and good.
The breakfast, served in the small bar area, is waiter service; the quality is excellent but the choice limited. I prefer a buffet style; it’s a matter of personal preference.
A wonderful hotel. Very nicely decorated. All rooms are different and very beautiful. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Location is the best! In the middle of small and cosy shops, lots of bars/restaurants and a very arty area.
Bread at breakfast was boring, not fresh and crunchy. Coffee also not good, the hotel should get a real machine for making cappuccinos.
Charming, nicely decorated Personal atmosphere Great location Nice friendly staff Quiet Decent breakfast
Pretty poor wifi Maybe a bit lacking space to put things (too few hangers, no space to put toiletries etc) Reading light by beds could be improved
Very quirky hotel, an old bakery rooms very cool
Gorgeous boutique hotel in a great location. Staff were really helpful. Loved the big bath which was such a tear after our busy days in Paris.
The staff was very helpful in directing us to where we wanted to go and with suggestions for places to eat. They had great recommendations. We loved being so close to the museums. It was too bad the Musee Picasso was still closed :-( However, the decor and the layout of our room made us feel like we were in someone's home and we're staying up in their attic. It was a very Parisian style room and we loved that about it! Thanks for a wonderful stay.
The only thing we didn't like was the look of the shag carpeting. It just made us feel like it wasn't that clean. However, after spending time in the room, it didn't bother us. It was just the impression we got. It was actually a very clean room. Thanks for the great stay. We also didn't like having to go up a flight of stairs with our luggage. That was tricky. The lift only went up to the 3rd floor.
friendly helpful staff
rooms were small
Your hotel is beautiful, original and charming, and it is beautifully situated. The design and colours are really wonderful.
Room 104 was fabulous and certainly seemed like a Deluxe Room. It was perfect for two teenage girls celebrating their birthdays.
Room 202 by comparison felt much smaller and not worth the money. It was a good double but didn't seem Deluxe And the pillows were very uncomfortable, too hard!
