Good welcome. Room with view and balcony highly-appreciated. Shower facilities v.good.

Bed very uncomfortable. Breakfast unimpressive and pricey.

No extra pillow available. The telephone line was not working.

Well located opposite very beautiful lake,busy road in between

Ungracious gentleman receptionist. Unsmiling and threatened a charge if we ate in our room. Just poor communications, and unnecessary, as there are better ways of handling that sort of thing.

The location is excellent overlooking the lake. The lakeside rooms have a magnificent view.

The rooms are above two restaurants and a bar below, which on our visit were very quiet. Potentially it could be problematic if a party was in full swing!

Plumbing problems, no water at night, no AC, small room, no glasses for pill taking, traffic noise, room baking in direct sun

We arrived at the hotel about 2 pm after a 300 mile motorbike ride and just wanted to book in get a shower, get changed and go out for some food. This was not possible because the hotel was closed from 1pm until 4pm!!!! so we had to walk around for 2 hours in our motorbike gear wasting time. Our first view of the hotel Poete was not promising it is a 70s style concrete building with flaking paint and in need of maintenance. When we did eventually get in to the hotel the first thing that we noticed was the unpleasant smell in the reception area and the corridors, fortunately our room did not smell. The room was very small and hot and the twin beds very narrow and close together, the bathroom and toilet were also small and cramped and the shower over the bath was only about 4 foot high? The room and bathroom were to be fair clean as was the bedding. The balcony was grimy, it had green algae on the floor and the table and chairs had seen much better days, but we had to use it as it was the only cool place to drink some wine and drown our sorrows at having booked such a poor hotel. The balcony overlooked the lake which would have been nice except that it also overlooked the duel carriage way which was very noisy. If you are going to this area then there has to be better hotels in this price range that you can book. I don't like to leave negative reviews but I do think you need to say what you feel and I have to wounder at the validity of reviews on the internet because I have now stayed at a few hotels that had ok reviews but turned out to be poor,

This was a budget hotel that has seen better days. The rooms were very small, paint was peeling, and the shower did not work properly. The only good point was the view onto the lake.

Rooms at front have balcony and lake view. Two or three restaurants available on the doorstep. Otherwise nothing.

I stay in many many hotels and very rarely submit a negative review. This one is different as you need to be warned! Outside it is a 60s/70s block in need of some paint. Inside the first thing that hits you is the smell. Our room was "Garden view". In fact there is no garden and no view - the hotel backs onto a steep wooded cliff. The furnishings were sparse (no carpet), the bedding thin and poor quality, the double room was provided with two towels, one large one small, both thin and more grey than white.The smell was worse in the room than in the public areas. I asked for extra pillows. Answer No. Only one man on duty and his attitude can be put in one word; indifference. We paid up, checked out and spent a comfortable night at the similarly priced Campanile nearby, on the edge of the golf course. If you book a 2 star for 65 Euros you don't expect a miracle but you do deserve more than this The Hotel du Poete used to be a Logis de France but has been de-listed - you can see why.

L accueil agréable, les conseils au top, le petit déjeuner copieux, le personnel est a l écoute et serviable!merci!

Le systeme des volets n est pas super! Extérieur un peu bruyant par certains moments!

Hotel agréable bon rapport qualité /prix

Horaire : en principe l'arrivée dans les hôtels se situe entre 12 à 14 h dans cet hotel 16 h le matin : il est mentionné départ à 10 h il nous a été demandé de déjeuner à 8h30 un peu plus de souplesse serait très apprécié.

Le look de l'hôtel pas très romantique pour un poète

Le personnel etait excellent et tres amical. J'ai adore la douche italienne et la proximite de restaurant. La vue sur le lac est impeccable.

Pas suffisament de choix pour le petit dejeuner (surtout pas d'oeufs)

Très bon rapport qualité-prix pour cet hôtel confortable avec une chambre dotée d'une magnifique vue sur le lac.
