The hotel is ideally situated within a 10 minute walk from both the castle and the town. Although basic, the rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly. |

Quirky but delightful hotel with really helpful staff and a great location just beneath the city walls and only 10 minutes walk from the entrance. Wireless Internet wasn't working (but staff offered to let us use their computer - great service) |

Being near to the old city of Carcassonne Breakfasts are poor, especially the coffee (machine). For France, this is a hanging offence |

Very good access to the Cite and the chateau, wonderful view of the Cite from the terrace especially at night. It really worth seeing it. Perhaps it depends on which room you stay, but the one we stayed was not clean. Carpets were dirty, wall and ceiling had many stains. The parking on the road might not be very safe although it's free. |

The hotel staff was extremely helpful, courteous and polite. I left some personal possessions in the lobby, and they were carefully stored for me until I could return to get them a day later. |

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Lovely viewing terrace on the top floor. Very out dated. No shower curtain or place to hang the shower attatchment. so trying to have a shower resulted in a flooded floor. Also dog dirt on the viewing terrace that was not cleaned up in the 2 days that we were there |

The hotel was very French, and slightly quirky which suited me as I am likewise. The young staff really put themselves out to deal with any problems. They only had double rooms, although we had booked a twin. |

Although the location was close to the walls of the old city, the hotel was extremely basic in comfort and atmosphere. The roof terrace and garden were as advertised but the rooms did not live up to the expected standard. |

being right beside the castle and river - the family feel and small size of the hotel - the friendly staff - we had a wonderful room with views of the castle - we particularly liked the garden/patio area behind the hotel - all very lovely thanks |

the location, it was so near the castle, at night coming home towards the hotel, the castle was lit up on the skyline and I felt like a princess. also the hotel itself had a lovely olde worlde atmosphere but really up to date facilites some tiny little jobs needed doing, a good maintenance man would do the trick I think |

The Receptionist was very helpful and thoughtful. The location was excellent - a few minutes from the Old City and with a lovely view from the upstairs balcony. The little courtyard was also nice and the secure parking very useful. The decor was old and quite dated, particularly the beds, although we found the rooms clean and reasonably comfortable. |

Attractive garden and outside seating area. Good central location in quiet side street close to both 'La Cite' (the old town) and the new town which is worth visiting in its own right. Tatty bathroom with ill fitting tiling and worn grouting. Saggy mattress. |

The view from room 18. Location of the hotel. Shower/bathroom plumbing appalling! No excuse for such poor fittings in a potentially great little hotel. |

The hotel staff were helpful and efficient. I particularly liked their little garden for relaxing in the sun and our breakfast in the morning. It gives a country, nature feel. I will recommend this hotel to my friends in future. Very nice family run hotel which is near to the main tourist attraction too. |
