“ Hotel du Quai Voltaire is a pearl among jewels. Excellent location, parisian charm and stylish atmosphere. Only 2 stars but here you can feel real Paris at reasonable price. View out from windows is fascinating. The room and the toilet were very clean. ”

The room overlooking the Seine was lovely, and we enjoyed the nearby restaurant recommended by the staff. Though free internet service was advertised, we were never able to access it with the password provided. Other hotels make it easy for travelers by offering a computer with internet capabilities.

The location is second to none. We requested a Louvre view room and got a balcony too. Amazing! The only thing I could fault was that the room was too hot. However in the room was a free standing fan. So all was well!

The views this hotel had to offer were incredible, overlooking the river. The staff were very friendly and funny and made you feel very much at ease. It was very close to the louvre and other monuments.

Price seemed good for Paris. Room had an amazing view. Great location for walking, and a train was close by. Taxis aren't too expensive either from that hotel. Room wasn't as big or charming as I had been lead to believe it would be based on the pictures. I felt disappointed. I guess I got one of the worse rooms. Still I wasn't aware of a better place to stay - it is Paris and the hotels are notoriously either expensive or bad. This was a good place.

Perfect location for visiting major Paris tourist sites and vibrant neighborhoods, restaurants and shops. Views of the Seine and Louvre from the rooms are priceless. The nightly room charge is quite reasonable. The bed wasn't the most comfortable.

Location Computer with internet for guests We told the front desk we needed a cup of coffee at 5:45 am the day of our trip back home. Two of the guys in charge said it was possible, but we had to go downstairs to pick up the tray. When we went downstairs that morning, the person who was suppose to be in charge of the front desk was asleep in the living room. He said he was waiting for us to confirm the coffee the night before (which we had done to the other and even left a note with him) and since we had not confirmed again to him, the coffee was not ready. He turned the coffee machine on and it took 20 minutes to heat up. He was angry when we told him we were suppose to take the tray upstairs and he answered in a very rude manner that it was not his job to set the coffee machine or the tray for us. Whose job was that anyway? Untrained and rude people should not be left in charge of the front desk in an hotel. The other 2 guys in charge of the front desk, Bernard and Christoph were helpful and polite.

Perfect location. Acces to a lot of bistros, museums, you can visit all the important Paris sites by foot. Cold personnel, not very clean rooms, old building, a bit pricey, seeing that the only advantage it has is the location. Also, the room we got (double superiour) didn't look at all like the pictures on their site.

The hotel was in the most perfect location, on the river, overlooking the Seine. It was small and friendly and the room was spotlessly clean. The room we had overlooked the river which meant also the very busy road than runs alongside the river. The double glazing was excellent so with the window shut we couldn't hear a thing but there was no air conditioning and so we were rather overheated at night. The decor of our room could only be described as 'orange' and the bed was not the most comfortable.

The venue is brilliant: overlooking the Seine, 2 minutes' walk over the bridge to the Louvre, 3 minutes' walk to the restaurants and shops of St Germain des Pres. The staff of the hotel could not be more friendly or helpful. The rooms are tastefully furnished, in a characterful, old-fashioned way, but with up-to-date bathrooms ensuite, and excellent power-showers. This is a City-centre hotel, so it would be no good if you wanted a large swimming pool or gym! Fortunately, we needed a comfortable, welcoming home-from-home, and that was what this hotel provided.

Location, location, location.... But also the rooms where fine, would have helped to have air condition when we stayed there. Didn´t use other facilities, so I´m not able to rate that. But thanks for a pleasant stay:0) p.s. We also like to thank the staff for alowing us to keep our backpacks over the day, while exploring Paris. Well I only stayed for one night and the room was fine so there is nothing I didn´t like.
