The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff were helpful with any request for directions.
We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel but in the location there are several cafe options.
Great location. Helpful staff. Good value for money.
Hotel prices are high in Paris, and this place has mid-level costs with an incredible location. It isn't fancy, but is quite comfortable.
Excellent staff, Gerard & Oliver tres bien . Liked the wine bar
There is nothing about the hotel I don't like.
Very comfortable hotel, excellent helpful staff, WiFi available on the ground floor, breakfast served until 11am, all made for a great vacation.
I liked the location
The mattress was awful and we could feel the springs in it. The area was far too tight and while awake in the middle of the night I could hear the neighbor peeing through the thin walls.
The staff were exceptionally accommodating in every way. For a left bank, Paris hotel, the rooms were of good size. In general, the hotel was more than we expected.
Overlooking the Seine, perfect.
Breakfast was not very good. Bed had a sag to it.
Firstly, the location is excellent - it's right opposite the Louvre. I visited with my mother and my girlfriend and we stayed in a triple room. The bed were cosy, the room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and roomy. We had an incredible view, framed by huge windows that opened all the way out. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking to be situated in the heart of the city.
-Hotel location was fantastic -Batobus stop immediately in front of the Hotel on the river made it easy to get everywhere -Beds were comfortable and the rooms (triple room particularly) were a really good size -Views of the river were great -Easy walk to all the shops and great restaurants in the streets of the Left Bank - Rue de Buci a must! -Staff were very helpful organizing cabs and transport to and from airports (and getting rid of the spiders!) -WIFI was good
-Lots of spiders in the room which was very unnerving! The proximity to the river and the warmer weather, probably contributing factors, but the webs outside the window should have been cleared daily to keep them at bay -Tiny lift that could only fit 2 people -Bar downstairs that was never open, although I think drinks were served to guests on request -No eating or drinking permitted in the rooms and no kettle, tea or coffee provided, although room service could be ordered, which was a bit of a mixed message
Poor maintenance of rooms, poor mattress, carpet was very worn. Room too small for a long stay
Fabulous position, comfortable bed. Staff helpful. Our room overlooked the Seine and across to the Louvre, what more could you ask for, it was the quintessential Paris experience. The hotel was old but quaint and the position and views made it a great option for the price
Rooms were very small but unless you spend a fortune on accom in Paris you are going to get small rooms
What a view ! On the bank of the Seine opposite the Lauve. Our room looked onto the river, with great views up/downstream. The staff were very friendly, with really good English. The room was bright and clean, with a good sized bathroom, stocked with plenty of towels. Didn't use the bar so cannot comment on it.
Great location, right on the banks of The Seine. The price is reasonable for a Paris hotel, room was fine and the staff were pleasant and informative.
Comfortable bed Great Location
Noisy with window open at night but stuffy and hot with window closed- no a/con No kettle / tea making facilities Very small room (superior room) Very small tv - all french except BBC world news Have to login to wifi every day
The location and view from my room just couldn't have been better! The staff was very helpful. The windows are extremely soundproof, shutting out most traffic noise.
With a little sprucing up, this hotel could be ideal. The carpets look like they date from the Impressionist period. The wifi was weak and didn't work at all during my last day. The elevator was also out of service for most of my stay. There is no air conditioning, which meant that I had to keep my wonderfully soundproof windows open to the congestion along the Seine.
Very good location for walking to main visitor attractions.
Continental Breakfast was expensive.
Perfect location. Historic hotel with plenty of character. Furnished with indivual antique furniture, no doubt purchased in the local antiques shops. Good value.
Courtyard rooms are a bargain price, but the 'courtyard' is not a pretty view, just a rather gloomy area of low roofing at the back of the hotel. In hot weather, though, this was the coolest part of the hotel.
Location. Room with a view to louvre and seine. Location. Price. Great value for money.
Friendly, welcoming staff, killer location, aerial visa of the grande boucle.
Rooms not air conditioned and traffic noise made sleeping with open windows a bit difficult.
View of seine Size of room The staff were helpful Functioning wifi
No air conditioning Very dated and needs complete refurb
Wonderful view of the Seine and the Louvre.
Within 5-minute walk from Louvre and D'orsay. 10-15 minute walk from Notre Dame and Place de la Concorde.
Breakfast portion is small and not budget friendly, rooms are a bit out-dated, elevator is slow,
great location good price Overlooking the river very nice
bit tired rooms small signs about not bringing food and drink into the hotel esp alcoholic drinks
