    I liked the location

The mattress was awful and we could feel the springs in it. The area was far too tight and while awake in the middle of the night I could hear the neighbor peeing through the thin walls.

Firstly, the location is excellent - it's right opposite the Louvre. I visited with my mother and my girlfriend and we stayed in a triple room. The bed were cosy, the room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and roomy. We had an incredible view, framed by huge windows that opened all the way out. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking to be situated in the heart of the city.

Poor maintenance of rooms, poor mattress, carpet was very worn. Room too small for a long stay

Fabulous position, comfortable bed. Staff helpful. Our room overlooked the Seine and across to the Louvre, what more could you ask for, it was the quintessential Paris experience. The hotel was old but quaint and the position and views made it a great option for the price

Rooms were very small but unless you spend a fortune on accom in Paris you are going to get small rooms

What a view ! On the bank of the Seine opposite the Lauve. Our room looked onto the river, with great views up/downstream. The staff were very friendly, with really good English. The room was bright and clean, with a good sized bathroom, stocked with plenty of towels. Didn't use the bar so cannot comment on it.

Great location, right on the banks of The Seine. The price is reasonable for a Paris hotel, room was fine and the staff were pleasant and informative.

Perfect location. Historic hotel with plenty of character. Furnished with indivual antique furniture, no doubt purchased in the local antiques shops. Good value.

Courtyard rooms are a bargain price, but the 'courtyard' is not a pretty view, just a rather gloomy area of low roofing at the back of the hotel. In hot weather, though, this was the coolest part of the hotel.

Friendly, welcoming staff, killer location, aerial visa of the grande boucle.

Rooms not air conditioned and traffic noise made sleeping with open windows a bit difficult.

Within 5-minute walk from Louvre and D'orsay. 10-15 minute walk from Notre Dame and Place de la Concorde.

Breakfast portion is small and not budget friendly, rooms are a bit out-dated, elevator is slow,

We have been to the Quai Voltaire three times over 25 years. The location can't be beat, the rates are reasonable. We were pleased to discover the windows facing the street are now double-paned, which goes a long way toward blocking the considerable street noises. The staff is friendly and helpful. And the view of the Seine and the Louvre from the street-facing rooms is sublime.

The rooms are small. The double bed is small for two people. The elevator is comically tiny. Not sir-conditioned.

Charming decor and very good room size with great view of Seine and Louvre. Noisy street but surprisingly quiet when windows closed. Location was perfect for walking to all of the main attractions with metro close.

No air conditioning but room fan provided some help. For July it was surprisingly comfortable at night..

This hotel is very centrally located and we were able to walk to a lot of the sights. The nearest metro we used was on Rue Solferino about 5 mins walk away. The staff in the hotel were very helpful with directions to everything. We didn't have brealfast at the hotel, but there are loads of nice restaurants and boulangerie nearby. The rooms in the hotel are small but that's the way in Paris. We all had a wonderful view of the Seine and the Louvre right across from us. Would most definitely use this hotel again!!

    Nothing.

The hotel is well situated for moving around without using transport. Very near to good restaurants and shops. Pleasant staff. Clean and well serviced rooms.

The room we were allocated this time was rather small compared with previous visits.
