Score from 443 reviews Good
the hotel is a bit out-dated but the room even if it was small was confortable.
had a small incident with the night receptionist who was a bit unprofessional but the morning staff re assure me, and in the end I had a good stay
friendly staff and majority of them speaks English. Big surprise in France.
wifi was really slow during the evenings. It's really old hotel furnished probably in 80' and not refurnished since then. Walls are really thin and it's really disturbing as you can hear the whole conversation from the other room and people walking at the hallway.
Room 62 was quiet and comfortable, with a large, clean bathroom. Location by the station very good, walking distance from most sites.
Wi-fi on and off. Breakfast very expensive.
Excellent wifi connection, clean linens and towels, perfect location.
Very old an unsafe doors, too oldfashioned hotel. No locked luggage room (luggage can be left only on the reception corridor).
overpriced, probably the whole of strassbourg (thanks to EU subsidies for governemental officals?). we found out that booking.com does not forward the information that we travel with a 1,5 year old daughter. there was no bed for her and the staff could not arrange any bed for her on arrival (and showed no eagerness at all to find a solution). we had a bad night sharing the bed with 3.
Location General room comfort Wifi Access Fair value for money
Breakfast very basic indeed Water pressure of shower not good No coffee making facilities in the room No small drinks-fridge in room
staff was friendly and helpful breakfast was NOT a buffet
nothing was unacceptable
the staff, location
large gap under the door causing a draft from the outer door into the corridor leading to wardrobe area. there was a really dark area of corridor where you couldnt find the lights. and more options could be offered for breakfast
Location. The stuff was good.
Very small size of the room and enough expencive for such kind hotel.
Homely feel in foyer area. Directly opposite train station, 200m.
Hotel has a great location opposite main railway station, easy walking distance to city centre. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Room was very small, it was suppossed to be be a double room, I think it would be very uncomfortable for two people with a lot of luggage. Price was very high for what is offered, I will not be staying here again.
If you are driving, there is parking garage just opposite the hotel. Walking distance to places of interests.
Excellent location if you are arriving by train or bus or the Lufthanse bus from the Frankfurt airport and close (walking distance) to the historical centre, restaurants and shops.
just outside the walled city with excellent bus service as long as you used before 8pm. very clean tidy accommodation able to do laundry on site a big plus Breakfast was usual French!!
Please save your money! Good staff but terrible out-dated hotel. Pictures not realistic.
Good English speaking staff, just opposite the train station, central to all. Good rooms even for a single .
Breakfast was €6.50 for a bread role, croissant, juice and hot drink. No seconds or even a choice of jam ! Nice breakfast room though ...
Convenient location next to the train station.
Room is dark, tiny, smelled of humidity, the halls are very dark, and walls are thin. I could hear the loud neighbors kids every morning.
The hotel staff are nice. The room is kept clean on a daily basis. There is a useful free WLAN. The breakfast offered by the hotel has been very nice.
The door or walls are not sound proof as advertised and the floor is too noisy whenever there are poeple passing by. The price is higher than hotels in the city center. The room is small.
right outside rail station
gloomy, dark upstairs
upstairs - dark No atmosphere
Its better to stay at Strasbourg Gare Station. I have never stay like that hotel. There was a construction in the first day. Altough it was Sunday. I must woke up at 7 o'clock. Everything is dirty and old.
Close to railway station and within walking distance of all the older city
The hotel was in a really convenient location for transfer to the airport & rail links, as well as not far from city centre (everything within walking distance). The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, and there was a relaxed atmosphere.
Shame that my room did not have air conditioning.
The location is excellent and the hotel is obviously easy to find. The stuff were friendly.
The WI-FI did not work in the hotel room, but it worked in the reception hall.
Great location next to the train station and within five minutes walk of the old city. Friendly staff at reception.
Some problems with the shower, hard to get hot water on the first day. Breakfast was terrible - stale bread and bad coffee. McDonald's across the road is much cheaper and much nicer. And there are loads of excellent French bakeries nearby!
