The location was great an the be was comfy. The breakfast was average but not good value for €11.
The food in the restaurant was terrible. The waiter was the grumpiest person I have ever seen. I would not stay here again.
Stayed in mini suite, the one illustrated on the internet. Very satisfied with it.
Boring menu. After eating in a couple of days, had to go out for better choice.
Rooms lovely,plenty of room,nicely decorated.
Young inexperienced staff at dinner, spilling a glass of wine/ not apologising, then not cleaning up after.
Good location, food (fixed menu) and waiters were good. Bikes stored in racks in garage.
Receptionist on arrival was not welcoming, bed was not very comfortable. Decor was dated.
Comfortable bed, pleasant dining room, good dinner
€10 each for two very small dogs is very expensive per night of the stay. Wine list a little limited.
The staff were helpful & friendly. The gardens a peaceful haven. The food was good & well presented both for dinner & breakfast.
Our room & bathroom were small but fine for a one night stop.
The staff were exceptionally pleasant and very helpful. The bed was big and very comfortable, set in a large airy quiet room. My children were annexed off into the large hallway so they were effectively in a different room, phew. The food was very good for the price, it was well presented and tasted good but don't expect too much if you're a gourmand. Facilities were half decent. Location was great, next to a lake and literally 2 minutes walk from the centre of a delightful little town with plenty of bars, shops and lower end restaurants.
The public wifi seemed to not like me although it clearly worked for the staff on their devices. Not much else to moan about (and I do like moaning)... all seemed quite satisfactory.
good location in the town
no elevator, needs a facelift
nothing at all i would be reluctant to give this hotel a 2 star rating.
the stairs were very awkward to get up and i consider dangerous, the room was small and cluttered with a table and 2 chairs couldnt move, bathroom was ok if you are very small.cant judge the restaraunt we never used it.all in all i wouldnt stay here again needs a makeover.
Room and bed was clean Great location Staff were friendly and helpull Plenty of parking Very quiet
The main light switch didnt work. The room was small. There wasnt a plug for the main sink The toilet paper holder was broken A shower curtain would make having a shower more enjoyable. The douvet was too heavy for summer, with the warm nights it was hard to sleep
The outside view promised more than that given. The hotel was in a reasonable location, easy to find and in a small pleasant town.
The rooms were a bit drab and needed quite a lot of TLC to bring them up to standard. Silly things like a glass, sufficient towels showed lack of attention to detail by staff. The dining room evening menu was ok but the quality was not up to the standard that one normally gets from a hotel of this standard. Overall one to be missed
Friendly helpful staff, very good food. Lovely location
An overhanging sewage smell wherever you went in the hotel or gardens
Comfy beds Friendly and helpful staff Quiet at night Nice bar to have a drink in Location was fab - could walk into Combourg and only 30mins drive to Rennes/ Dinard Breakfast was fantastic Very clean throughout whole hotel Easy free parking Good price
Could do with a little modernising but traditionally French.
Location and the peace and quite The weather helped of course We were able to have a drink in the garden - the rooms were lovely and the staff very friendly
traffic through the breakfast room was a bit disruptive - the cold milk was empty and no one came to fill it and there was no one to ask - also in the evening - black shirts look smarter than white in the restaurant -
No room in the restaurant had to go out to find other place to eat. Hotel very tired and need need of modernisation.
Restaurant was reminiscent of Faulty Towers. Head Waiter had run every where doing everything. Two young assistant s who did very little. The bedroom needed a new carpet and shutter. A shame, it used to be a well run beautiful hotel, with an excellent restaurant.
The restaurant qualified as a three star and staff were friendly
The room was very basic, cold and the carpet was grubby as was the bathroom floor in the corners and behind the toilet - definitely not three star nor was the hotel in total sadly...
Very quiet and still
