easy to find comfortable car parking
- Not a good and not a healthy breakfast. - The wifi works just in the lobby, in the room there is impossible ! - The mats are not very clean and the hallways smell musty
The receptionist let me have my room before the normal check-in time, which was a great help. I also appreciated the tea and coffee-making facility, and a availability of decaff coffee.
Great location. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Very helpful staff. Excellent location for exploration of St Malo. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Good value.
Online description stated that there was limited parking. It didn't say how tricky it was to get into car park with a big car - Ford Mondeo. Took about 10 attempts to line car up to get from street, through very narrow stone archway & into v small car park beyond. Then very difficult manoevouring to get into parking space. Luckily getting out was easier. I would not describe rooms 211 & 212 as 'modern'.
Location Surrounding restaurants, bars, shops etc - all central
Parking Very limited and extremely tight squeeze!
very simple hotel
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel du Loure. The rooms were clean, comfortable and a good value. The location of the hotel was perfect and surrounded by shopping and restaurants. The staff were accommodating and helpful. I would definitely stay again.
Staff not helpful Room not very clean Breakfast hardly worth twelve euros
Location. Comfort Attentive staff All round great hotel.
Bed and pillows were wonderful. Bright clean room. Good breakfast times - early till late morning. Friendly staff
Very Small Lift (Max 3 People) - being slightly claustrophobic I found it difficult but not impossible (didn't use it on my own!).
Proximity to the port Helpful staff
Boring refurb Strange shower Always noisy in St-Malo - drunks until 3.30am
Hotel Du Louvre is in a very central location, the twin room we were allocated was small but clean and fine for a short stay. Staff were welcoming and friendly.
Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English which was useful. Room was clean and nice
The room decor could use a bit of sprucing/redecorating along with the shower
Breakfast was excellent
-Staff very helpful -Room very nice and clean -Great position
-Expensive breakfast -Private parking was very small
Great location, great staff, good value at €100 (last minute and non-refundable).

This was a great location and easy to find. I reserved a single room which had a double bed. It was small, but fine for the single traveler. Everything was clean and updated. Elevator is small, but works. It was a lovely room on a quiet street. They also held my luggage in the lobby after check out until my train later in the day. It was close enough to walk from the train station, but it took about 20 mins. It was located just a couple of blocks inside the city wall. The beach was about a 10 min walk.
When my on line booking went wrong [completely wrong dates for some reason] I phoned the hotel. The receptionist, who spoke excellent English, was extremely sympathetic and helpful. Within 15 minutes she sorted it out with the booking website. Very impressive. Good location for exploring the town, not too close to the night life so not as noisy as some locations. Close to cheap public car parks.
The "premium" room was adequate in size but had bare floorboards not carpet. The decorative state was tired, chipped and clearly in need of urgent renewal. We had booked two identically priced rooms, the other for our travelling companions. Their room was so much bigger and more comfortable we felt hard done by. It was in good decorative order, was carpeted and had decent seating as well. When we expressed our dissatisfaction the response was essentially a shoulder shrug and that the receptionist could only offer us a smaller room if we wanted a carpeted floor. Breakfast was average with an absence of service. The croissants and pain au chocolats were tiny and yet the boulangerie down the road sold proper ones. The contraption for boiling your own egg didn't boil. Unimpressed. Needs a major refurbishment, staff rather "jobsworth" and looking unmotivated.
Good location, staff
Poor breakfast, noisy elevator. We stayed at 501and it was quite noisy in the early morning because of elevator
