Hotel Duminy-Vendome  

We had a very comfortable room on the 5th floor, we were able to open the windows to allow sunshine in, the room was also very private. We were particularly impressed with the twin sinks in the spacious bathroom. Hotel staff were very cooperative and promptly removed a fold- away bed when requested. The room was very quiet considering its location to the Irish Pub where we had a lovely evening and a delicious meal. The Hotel location was close to many of the outstanding attractions of Paris. Highly recommended.

The price was about $300usd per night, and for the level of the facilities, it wasn't up to par. The hotel rooms and bathrooms need to be renovated quickly! Looked cheap.

We really enjoyed our 9 day stay at this hotel. As a couple in our late-20s, our expectations for the price we paid were met perfectly. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, so if you're planning to spend a LOT of time in your room, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. But for a couple tourists excited to be out in the city from 8am until 1am, the accommodations were perfect. The staff in the hotel were incredibly inviting and friendly, and several times went out of their way to provide us with our strange American requests :) The rooms were cleaned every morning, and the one day I put up the "do not disturb" sign to take a nap, the front desk called up to confirm I didn't want my room cleaned, and sent up fresh towels. We only used the breakfast diner once, but the food was delicious and fresh, plus they have a 24 hour "bar" that is run by the front desk staff that offers anything from coffee to champagne. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a nice hotel with great service and not to spend too much time indoors!

Go out of your way to ask for a room far away from elevator and stairway doors! For the most part, the hotel is pretty quiet, the only noise that we ever heard came from those areas! Also, they offer free WiFi, but you have to ask for a NEW member name and password every day to access it, after a 9 day stay, it became slightly tedious.

Location is the best! Opposite Loevre, close to Cite, Place du Concorde, Champs-Elysees etc. Breakfast was also fine. Street was quiet. Fair 3*.

There was very disturbing noise from housekeepers and clients even during the night and morning.The double room was extremely small(without having place for 2 suitcases).Food prices were too high concidering the delay of 1.5 hours.Breakfast price was too high(17 euros per person).Finally,there was dirt in the toilet of the first room !!

The proximity to the metro and Jardin des Tuileries.

The room was very small (if you have a suitcase, it is impossible to open the door, and walk around the bed. The bathroom could be a bit more modern, but that's just cosmetics...

I really recommend this hotel. Location, Staff, breakfast were excellent!

Its location serves as a great base for all the tourist site seeing.

Room noise from hallway and adjacent rooms quite high so could hear everything. Wireless internet flakey and unreliable. Expensive hotel.

THE BED WAS UNCOMFORTABLE AND THE NOISE OF THE NEAR BY BAR WAS HEARD EASLY IN THE ROOM, THE NOISE OF THE NEIGHBORS WAS LOAD AND HEARD IN THE ROOM.

Room facilities good, lovely breakfast room, the location was good too.

Excellent location! Nice rooms and bathrooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful, their command of English is outstanding.

My room (1 floor, facing the street just above the front door to the hotel) was very noisy, especially at night with delivery trucks and other noisy vehicles working outside all night long. A loud speaking neighbor joined the "choir" - the walls between rooms seem pretty thin.

Location was perfect, staff were friendly and it was most certainly value for money.
