Hotel Duminy-Vendome  

We really enjoyed our 9 day stay at this hotel. As a couple in our late-20s, our expectations for the price we paid were met perfectly. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, so if you're planning to spend a LOT of time in your room, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. But for a couple tourists excited to be out in the city from 8am until 1am, the accommodations were perfect. The staff in the hotel were incredibly inviting and friendly, and several times went out of their way to provide us with our strange American requests :) The rooms were cleaned every morning, and the one day I put up the "do not disturb" sign to take a nap, the front desk called up to confirm I didn't want my room cleaned, and sent up fresh towels. We only used the breakfast diner once, but the food was delicious and fresh, plus they have a 24 hour "bar" that is run by the front desk staff that offers anything from coffee to champagne. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a nice hotel with great service and not to spend too much time indoors!

Go out of your way to ask for a room far away from elevator and stairway doors! For the most part, the hotel is pretty quiet, the only noise that we ever heard came from those areas! Also, they offer free WiFi, but you have to ask for a NEW member name and password every day to access it, after a 9 day stay, it became slightly tedious.

Relatively spacious, comfortable room and bed, excellent location centrally, not too expensive for Paris. Good amenities and cozy.

A well presented Hotel, competent staff, and well fitted rooms in a relatively handy position opposite the Jardin Tuileries Gardens. Handy to restaurants and shops.

Location

The hotel was exactly as advertised. Friendly to Americans, small rooms, and a bit noisy with the back alley. But with the free breakfast, location and excellent price it was well worth it all. We would stay there again.

Great location, very clean rooms and friendly staff

I have stayed the hotel so many times, so I'm familiarized myself with the area. The location is very convenient for both business and shopping.

Recently quite many staff have been changed. Especially the staff at dining room are almost all new, and less friendly and efficient than those worked before.

Good facilities, well priced and very central. Staff were excellent. I would recommend this hotel to other travellers

The staff at the Duminy-Vendome were excellent; very friendly and very accommodating even when faced with some last minute technical hitches of my making. I would describe the hotel as in the boutique style - smartly / trendily decorated with a lovely breakfast room. My single room was again nicely decorated and properly clean. All in all, Duminy-Vendome is a hotel I would be very happy to visit again either for business or pleasure.

One of a very few clean hotel in central Paris :) Superior room indeed superior, very spacious related to the Paris standards. Central but very quiet street. Staff incredible proffessional - a rare bird in Paris too :)

Location is fantastic, 5 min walk to Metro, 10 min walk to Louvre. Great breakfast and very nice rooms. Would recommend this hotel to friends.

The staff was great. They were helpful and polite. The room was a good size and clean. It was a bit dark, but other than that, everything was great.
