The location of the hotel was excellent. Near to the Louvre, Rue St Honore and Rue de la Madeleine. We had come for the christmas markets amongst other things so it was great. I always welcome the ability of fresh air and you can open the windows a +. The Irish pub next door was quaint and offered a lovely respite on a cold evening.
Not much really. Perhaps a little too much noise from neighbouring rooms but that's luck of the draw at the time of your visit
Situation, ease of access, proximity of Metro and some of the major tourist attractions. Excellent breakfast selection. Comfortable room
Noise in street at all hours of the nigh- from adjacent bar and early morning from the service sanitaire.
The location is excellent along with the cleanliness. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a place where I'd like to return.
Room was cold and heater took two days to warm it up to a reasonable temperature
Location Early check in for free without pre organizing. Complimentary tea and coffee in a warm bar while waiting for our train home, well after check out time.
Location, cleanliness, facilities.
room was a bit small and we could hear the elevator during the night.
very convenient location as it close to most sightseeing sites in walking distance. Staffs are professional
Room is very small with such money. breakfast is ok but could be better
Close to Champs Elysees & great shopping area. The breakfast location and options were great.
The room was a little noisy - more from internal noise (lift & plumbing) vs external noise.
Every city highlight within walking distance. Friendly personnel speaking multiple languages. Many nice bars and restaurants are close by.
- Extremely small and slow elevators. - Breakfast was too expensive for what was offered (simple buffet for €20). - Rooms were OK, but quite small and ours smelled like old cigarettes (luckily there were large windows that we could open).
Perfect location being in close vicinity of Louvre, Place Concorde and Champs Elysee, lovely staff, good quality wi-fi, kettle in the room
Poor choice for breakfast
My room was on the street level, plus the hotel's central cleaning storage room was right next door. Thus, there was a lot of noise. This is not a knock on the hotel itself (service was superb), just on my room (number 2).
The location is close to every major attraction, yet comfortable enough regarding the noise of streets. You can walk almost everywhere whether for shopping (the Champs Elysee, Saint Honore...), or picture taking (The Louvere, gardens, Opera, ...), plus many resturants and coffeeshops around. Brilliant staff service! All speak English, knowledgable, and friendly. Loved the in-room breakfast with no extra charge!
No Kitchen! So I wouldn't recomment having room service because it takes a long time depending on traffic, and arrives cold from the resturant that the hotel deals with.
bed wasnt a king but they had joined two beds which was a bit uncomfortable for me and my wife
Location. Tea and coffee making in room. Bath. Free wifi.
Price £156 for double room no breakfast. Small reception area, no proper bar, no atrium, no restaurant, except breakfast room apparently below ground - didn't visit it.
Conveniently located to my clients exhibiting at Paris Fashion Week. I have often stayed at this friendly little hotel and am always given a warm welcome by the very helpful staff. This time there was a problem in checking in because I hadn't alerted my credit card providers to my visit to France ( I never have before, but no apparently they are being more careful!) The staff on Reception let me into my room anyway because they were aware that I was genuine and that my credit was OK. It was so much more comfortable to sort out the necessary phone calls to the UK from my room than standing in the reception area! I am always happy to return to the Duminy Vendome.
Personal y ubicacion. Buen desayuno
Excellent location, safe, next to the major museums & a lot of good restaurants & brasseries. The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were good sized for Europe, immaculate, & quiet.
The air conditioning didn't have enough BTU's to cool the room.
We loved it. This this was our second stay.We visited in June 2013 and September 2014. Very clean, great breakfast very helpful staff and great location. Elizabeth and Lucy at the front desk went out of their way to help us several times. Would stay there again.
The Irish pub next door can be a little noisy at night if you have a room on the street and on the lower floor.
Helpful receptionist good tips on where to eat. Lounge or bar although small was pleasantly quiet and a nice place to rest in between site seeing expeditions.
Access ramp for wheelchair is actually the delivery entrance. I didn't mind that because it was near the main entrance however it was always blocked, they never bothered to move the pushcarts out of the way.
The location is very good, not far from Metro Line 1 and next to the Tuileries Garden.
The air condition equipment is noisy. The room is small.
Great location, fantastic staff and very comfortable.
In 1st Arrondissement, Tuileries, Louvre just across the road.
Location and Staff.
Room (very small and next to reception and sitting area)
Location Clean Fresh
Breakfast very expensive
location to restaurants and attractions
room very small TV unable to operate
