The staff were a delight, so helpful and friendly! Location is wonderful...so easy to walk to the Seine. Rooms lovely and so clean! Hotel full of character...would stay again without question.

I didn't like the fact that there was no meaningful place to relax in the hotel other than the bedrooms. Also I didn't like the fact that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room particularly following my first point that there is nowhere to sit and have refreshment downstairs...other than a few chairs in a small area which is not condusive to sit.

The staff is very nice and has great English.Location is great.

The bad is too soft, was not great for my back .

This was our first trip to Paris and we couldn't have chosen a better location. The staff were wonderful and were so accommodating and helpful. They all spoke great English and were great for directions etc. Our room was beautiful and very French! This was one of the reasons we chose it. There were some renovations being carried out at the hotel which affected our view and we weren't told about this in advance which was the only down side. Would def stay again though.

Staff excellent - friendly and helpful. Attractive hotel and our room, large by Paris standards, was comfortable.Very clean with nice bathroom. It only lacked facilities for tea or coffee although the staff were happy to boil water and provide tea cups. Location quiet but convenient. We will definitely return.

The look and style of the hotel were great. The personnel were extremely helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome.

The underground breakfast room

Good combination of great service, good location, reasonable price.

This was just what we were looking for, quaint, victorian room, small and very nice bath. Comfortable, and staff very nice, helpful, spoke English. Cafes for meals very near, bus stops on street or you can walk down to metro. Quiet street even tho college on the street. If you get a day pass for the bus and the river boat pass you can get on and off all day long. Boat stops at most historic spots along the river. We stayed 4 days and saw everything we wanted to see. The staff stood out as the best thing about the hotel. Everyone was very helpful and full of great recommendations.

The bedroom could use just a little more lighting.
