the inner court was beautiful
the breakfast not was the best
Proximity to station, shops and beach.Evening reception staff very warm and helpful with tourist enquiries.
Main daytime receptionist quite abrupt.
very close the train station; size of room; garden; quietness
very small working table with no plug socket; instable wireless; breakfast; shower in bath tub with no curtain
Staff were very friendly and happy to assist in any way. Nice having a garden terrace to sit in and a little house cat to greet you at reception!
Unfortunately being a pet friendly hotel there was a strong smell of kitty litter and the carpet in the room was very stained. In need of a new mattress on bed. Wifi wasn't available in room, only in reception or garden area. The hotel itself has great potential but is a little tired.
The locaction, very close to the train Station yet in a quiet neighbourhood.Great ambience and decor, resembles a Spanish villa.Large rooms and bath.Lovely garden in the hotel.
The staff did not permit the use of the kitchenette which was part of the room, saying as you had booked through Booking.Com,they couldnt allow free use.Pay extra for its use.The hotel remained unmanned at night.
Clean, spacious and good location and staff friendly.
The breakfast was poor quality, croissants did not appear to be fresh and the coffee (from the machine) was very poor. There was no 'literature' for the hotel and I had to ask for tea (not told there was a machine downstairs). Lack of light at the entrance so could not read the code to enter after hours.
Clean rooms, Good daily cleaning, large shower.
Parking free (sounds good) but it's almost never available. Most of the time occupied and no parking possible. Dangerous neighborhood to walk in the late night time. In the morning People at the garden is making noise to your room. Slowest elevator in the world. Old furnished rooms. No 24hr reception at hotel. Location not that good and not safe at night. Kind of far to the attractions.
We stayed just one night after the plane and before the train.Chose the hotel because of location. Friendly. Clean. Good breakfast. Recommended.
Location close to train station, wi-fi was fast, bed was comfortable. Had everything we needed and at a reasonable price.
peaceful location in a potentially noisy city. beautiful peaceful garden escape in the back. quiet bedroom in the basement.
screen on window may have helped keep the few mosquitoes out at night
Good exterior. Fair location
The young receptionist was inhospitable and unfriendly. Room was small, stained carpet.
Lovely place, quiet and clean. Bedroom was OK Bathroom OK + air dryer Breakfast is wonderful Garden's great and quiet Staff very nice
Deco old fashioned and sheets+blanket instead of duvet. I was cold during the night because there is an air cooler into the room but not independent heater for those used to more degrees at night. I couldn't sleep well because of the bed poor covers and cold bedroom but I am using to sleep at 25°C, not really their fault !! Bedroom was not freezing. No bar service or fridge in a quite remote location.
Clean hotel and friendly front desk staff especially Michelle. Lovely garden where you can eat your breakfast as well as bring in dinner for a nice picnic. Decent breakfast for the price.
While conveniently located near the train station, the area is somewhat questionable especially for single women travelling alone. Would not recommend staying there if you are a single woman. If you plan on taking many trips outside of Niece then it's a great location also not too far(15 minute) walk from central/old part of Niece. Not having anyone at the desk after 11 pm and needing a code to get in reflects the type of neighbourhood. Unable to access internet in the room only available in the lobby. Lights were out most of the time and no night staff made it difficult to use internet.
The room was ok and there was a lovely courtyard garden.
The staff vacillated between curt at best and downright rude. While the hotel was located near train and tram access, the neighborhood was less than desirable. No feeling of safety especially in the evenings. Inadequate parking on premises.
Staff waited up late for us Walking distance to train station Facilities were nice though not spacious
Hard to find Less attractive neighborhood
Quiet location and garden . Friendly and most efficient staff.
Lack of proper shower. Stridently colourful decor.
Quiet, helpful staff, laid-back atmosphere, good breakfast selections, reasonably priced restaurant (Le Voyageur) with good food around the corner.
Could not charge electronic devices while out of the room since key removal turned off all room electricity
Very handy for the railway station. Comfortable room. Pleasant garden.
Friendliness of the staff. Breakfast in the patio. The location close to the train station means you can get to resorts such as Villefranche.
Air conditioning was good as well as the quiet location
Breakfast very poor. The coffee machine did not work a lot of the time. No proper cheese, no orange juice and no rolls. The garden was weedy. Very badly lit in corridors. In both rooms toilet flushing levers were broken. The hotel has gone downhill which is a shame.
No otopark English speaking is poor They are not friendly
Close to station. Able to have breakfast in the garden.
Twenty minute walk to restaurants area. Fridge in kitchenettes dirty and smelly so we didn't end up using.
The Garden area is so nice. It is close to the train, walking distance to Old Town and Promenade yet quiet. The rooms are decorated nicely and the staff is helpful. You'll really like this location.
Carpet a bit worn. The drawers were dusty inside- yet most the hotel so clean. Doors hard to open (pull then push).
No actual car park, only a very limited number of spaces on a side street.
The hotel is ideally situated for getting around Nice and the surrounding area. It is a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport, a 5-minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes walk from the beach and the old town. There is an endless choice of places to eat and all within a short distance of the hotel. We had a family suite which was self-contained and accessible from the hotel garden where we spent time relaxing occasionally and where we had breakfast every day. The rooms we had were spacious and air-conditioned which came in useful with the weather being a lot warmer than we are used to and they were serviced every day. The beds were comfortable and, because the rooms face into the hotel garden, they were peaceful and noise free. We had undisturbed sleep every night of our stay. Checking in and out was quick and easy and the staff on reception were very helpful to us.
The breakfast was basic. There was plenty of what was available but the choice was slightly limited compared to other hotels we've stayed in. Having said that we ate there every day when we could have easily found other places nearby.
