Very near the beach, so pleasant for an evening stroll Had expected it to be nearer the old city, so disappointed to find it wasn't easily walkable for an evening meal. Not much choice for eating out in the immediate vicinity. Couldn't get wireless connection to work anywhere in the hotel |

We selected the Eden Hotel for a one-night stay, prior to catching the St Malo ferry, on the basis of its website description, which proved accurate. Not the hotel itself, but a more detailed location map / instructions on how to get there (within the city) would be helpful for first time visitors. |

This hotel was modern, basic, very clean, comfortable beds, beautiful crisp white bed linen, lots of hot water and a great location. We had a very small room but it had everything required for an overnight stay. I would not like to stay longer than a couple of days due to the small room. The young woman on reception was very helpful and the breakfast plentiful. |

Very helpful and friendly staff - The room was generally quite clean, except for the floor around the toilet area - Only a transparent sheer was provided as a curtain - No courtesy shampoo/body lotion provided |

The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and the lady who worked on reception/breakfast very friendly and helpful. Only a few metres from the beachfront with a lovely wide walk along the sea to the old town. The rooms were quite small and basic - fine for our overnight stop but wouldn't want to stay longer. We only saw one member of staff and there was no-one around to help with directions when we went out at 6pm. The hotel is a good 3km walk to the old town of St Malo, |

Very friendly staff, rooms were clean, location of the hotel was excellent, a few minutes walk from a superb beach and the town centre. Bathroom was a little outdated, and there was no lock on the door. Corridor and stairs made it awkward with a pushchair. |

A hotel with character and charm. For the price there should be a lift. Carrying suitcases up a narrow staircase for two floors is no pleasure. |

Convenient situation, safe parking, quiet location, room very clean, restaurants and patisseries nearby, good pressure in shower, friendly staff. A pleasant hotel. Family room tiny, double bed saggy, expensive for something so basic but that seems par for the course in St Malo. |

This is a lovely family run hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The owners speak excellent English. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated in contemporary style with a large comfortable bed and good storage. The owners are continuing with their refurbishment programme, and although the bathroom to our room was yet to be done, it was spotlessly clean and the owner provided a hairdryer. Very close to the beach, but quite a walk from the walled city.Tea or coffee making facilities would be nice, but we found few hotels in France offered this. Reserved parking is limited and although we were able to park nearby, it may be more difficult in high season. |

I thought the owner was very helpful and understanding as we had to leave to catch the ferry at 6 am the next day. She advised us where to eat and what local amenities there were. A very pleasant experience . |
