Cozy place, friendly stuff, reasonable price, near the metro
far off from the center, neighbourhood not pleasant at night
well located, clean, nice room
We got a room on the ground floor and it was very noisy
Price was attractive, but afterwords I realized that a lot of things were not included and I had to do extra payment....even for the tax !!!
Extra payments......but most important to mention: CLEANNESS as there was a lot of dust in the walls and black moss in the bathroom :-(
The room was cleaned daily Meaning we stayed on clean sheets with clean towels each night. Happy, helpful staff who all spoke English. Hotel a 2 minute walk to Pyrenees metro. Very happy customers.
Annoying that wi-fi had to be paid for. Especially for someone like me who is easily made homesick. Despite enjoying my stay, this was the only downside.
Easy access to Central Paris
Shower door and wall mouldy. Shower drain blocked. Breakfast poor
cheap, location close to metro station, halal food & cafe
Good location, about 45 minutes by feet to Sacré-Cœur and 50 minutes to the Seine / Notre Dame. That's about it.
When we first entered the room, there was sperm stain on the bed.. we immediately asked for a new blanket. Even then, the new one had rust stain on it.. finally we entered the toilet and it had no toilet lid.. it was broken and somebody put it next to the toilet. There was mold all over the toilet, shower.. The bed had an extremely bad smell, we couldn't really sleep in the due to our disgust. And if that wasn't enough, the heater couldn't be regulated. We sweated and furthermore, it's been so loud outside that you either decide to sweat all night or not being able to sleep due to the sound from the streets. A complete desaster: my girlfriend was to leave on the second day and it was a pain getting her to stay.. I bought a new blanket for that time. I am ashamed bringing my girlfriend here, and feel responsible for not listening to the reviews here.
Friendly and helpful staff. Great location
Not worth the money to pay for the stay. The rooms were so closely together, such that when the next door neighbour open and close the door, could disturb your sleep. The staff were on shift . Some were friendly, some were very unfriendly. Internet connections were disconnected halfway. The room heater was not working. The bathroom was so cramp.
I was disappointed with the way I was treatd - spoken to re taxi etc
Very good value for money and staff were very friendly and helpful. Superb cleanliness and location within easy reach of metro and Gare du Nord and all museum . We will definitely choose this hotel again when we visit Paris in the future. Cheers.
The only good thing about this hotel was the great pressure in the shower and location although super noisy. The main staff member was rude wanted us to leave our key when we went out every day. The first time we did but the someone else just have us the key when we got back without checking even our names we decided to take it - causing him to throw his toys I guess security isn't a priority at th is hotel. The toilet had to be flushed by constantly re attaching pipework in the cistern, sometime s you could smell sewerage up the shower pipe, you could hear people clearly in the next rooms, the breakfast role could be used as a brick and the wifi had to be logged back into each time you came back. Why did we continue our stay...already paid..no refunds...we were there 4 nights
Welcome from first to last.good staff and so helpful.metro 2mins And great patisserie across the road.
Never never go on to data roaming!!!
Location Price Staff was helpful
Noisy Very small room No internet Not for long sleepers (the noise starts very early!!!)
Very good location
The mattress quality was very poor, room walls were so thin one could hear he's neighbour walking.
cheap and clean stuff v.nice and helpful quite rooms (but not too big)
extra charge for the wifi (which is not working properly) loud street in the morning (garbage trucks)
spacey and close to tube.
Shower with only 2/3 covered so water comes out to the floor whenever we have a shower
Only the location
-One of the staff was impolite others were fair. -Breakfast -very small bathroom. The shower was on the toilette sink!! -request to pay the whole amount at late night before stay. I obliged to find ATM to prepare money and coming back to hotel.
I like the employee that works at night on our stay very accommodating but other than that nothing
The employee that works in days when we are there. Location is not that bad but not good for visitors who has cars and family
Location was great, a really interesting area
Pay for wifi, cramped room
The hotel was really good and in a perfect location. Good breakfast. The staff was helpful and we didn't have any big problem about anything
The street in which the hotel is located is a bit noisy during the night because there is a bar nearby and the wifi wasn't good because it used to disconnect all the time and it wasn't free
1. It's close to the station 2. They let us use the fridge, to keep our cake and champagne nice & cool 3. They lend us charger adapter, which came in handy as we totally forgot about it
I booked in the economy double room, and I wasn't expecting a 3 stars treatment. However, there were few things I really couldn't stand... 1. Dirty linen - and they didn't change the linen during our 3 nights stay. Woke up on the first morning, we discovered there's a big dark shoe print at the end of the bed linen. It definitely not ours because we took our shoes off as we got in the room, and it's right under the bed cover. And there's a yellow-white stains on the linen under the pillow area :S and guess what, the black shoes print was there every single day, despite they tidy the bed every single day! 2. Noise everywhere - we knew exactly when next door guests were having a shower or flashing the toilet...the water pip sound was so loud from the wall that we were kept awake during the night and early morning 3. Toilet ceiling was half exposed - you can see the pips & metal bars. And some of the wall paper felt off to the toilet floor on our final night when we got back to hotel 4. Towels - they put a sticker in toilet mentioned that if you leave the towels on the floor, they'll change it to a new one... and that didn't happen 5. My friend booked in the other room, and that has a broken toilet door. It just wouldn't shut
NO AIR CONDITION
For a budget conscious trip to Paris this hotel was perfect. Nice location with lots of retaurants, cafes and food stores on your doorstep, staff were extremely helpful and friendly, hotel rooms were clean and adequate. Near to metro and one line away from Chatelet which links nearly all lines.
Give breakfast a miss, would recommend guests avail of the plentiful patisseries and cafes in the vicinity instead..despite having beautiful double doors to balcony room was very dark.
