a few blocks from train station
This hotel has no elevator, so if you come with luggage it is a pain. The bedroom is small for the price. Internet is not good quality. No breadfast even when they say it is optional. Bad service. I feel unsecure on the hotel.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good, well-maintained facilities (including shower and toilet in the room), very clean. Location very central for Paris, very close to Gare Montparnasse and other transport, in the heart of Montparnasse and its creperies.
Wifi dropped out for very short periods of times from time to time, but overall was reliable.
À proximité de la Gare Montparnasse
Salle de bain petite et wc dans salle de bain
staff is ok,kind clean, comfortable bed.
not connecting wi-fi on the 3rd floor. noisy from next room.
Location. The staff was nice.
Nothing really. Maybe, the bathroom because is so little.
The staff were excellent and very helpful. The room was all that was needed for a one night stay before boarding a train the next day.
It was a little cold at night And, of course, like all French hotels, there is no kettle or tea!
the wifi is very very slow
Not as advertised on website. No open balcony. Some rooms so small you can't get two suitcases in it. Restaurant at bottom. Noices til 2 am and again from 7 am. Not a lot of sleep.
Near railways station
Location is excellent and close to Paris Montparnasse. Several Cafe and Restaurants are located nearby. The Reception is manned 24 hours
Awfully small and inconvinient bathroom. You keep hitting the walls in the bathroom. You need to rest your chin on the tiny wash basin when you sit on the toilet seat.
the location, the receptionist, the cleanness of the room
only that we had to carry the bags on the stairs
very convenient for my business access to metro and business plus railway basic but clean
stair carpet needs updating to be
Staff (Madjied) was very very helpful and pleasant. He brought our luggage up and down the narrow stairway. Helped us contact our shuttle service and then called a taxi when service didn't show up.
No elevator Room was so small (cant hardly move) Bed was small for a double (2 people)
great location friendly staff
room as well as the foyer in front of it are too small, staircase is a bit narrow, it is difficult to carry the suitcase upstairs
Location was perfect. reception always open
No breakfast. No outside view.
- wifi not working at all - very noisy street - 4th floor w/o elevator and with narrow stair case - tiny bathroom - overpriced for what it was
Location Wifi Generally helpful staff
Having to hand in the key each time you leave (makes you feel like a child & limits privacy tremendously) Expensive (hotel next door, which looks better and offers breakfast is cheaper) Shabby carpets (not a deal breaker though)
Location, location, location
Bathroom size gave no privacy whatsoever
Location very good for visiting famous sights/areas of Paris via good metro links. Lots of cafés and restaurants nearby. Room small but clean and comfortable.
Booked a room with a balcony/ terrace, hoping for a view. Terrace was totally enclosed, 3 white walls plus window wall with doors to bedroom area- skylight several floors above. Did not use- disappointed and waste of extra money!
Position and terrace
No lift .nightime noisy
Location Helpful staff Hot shower Lots of local bars and restaurants
Was very tired in terms of furnishings/carpets Seemed expensive for the quality of hotel and room, but less costly than some of the other local hotel chains. Toilet was difficult to access and use as washbasin was in the way!
i liked the location
Wifi was not working in my room. The staff was unfriendly. When I complained, the staff said to use it on stairs. Was he expecting me to spending 2-3 hours on stairs with my laptop?? I couldnt check my emails, skype with family etc My room was on the 3rd floor. Staff did not even ask to help with suitcase. TOTAL FLOP!!
Handy to Montparnasse Station and Orly Airport bus
rooms a bit cramped
There is no restaurant, but a reasonably priced brasserie next door, which also provides a very basic breakfast (even by continental standards). However, there was also another brasserie on the other side. Both had outdoor seating, and on the Saturday I stayed, they were open until 1.30 a.m.. A further 90 minutes of constant loud chatter followed. Peace came about 3.30, after much revving of motor-bikes and slamming of car doors! But just before 6 a.m. on the Sunday morning, the loud traffic noise started again. It may be different during the week, though I doubt it. None of this disturbance was the fault of the hotel, of course, but I couldn't possibly recommend it for anyone who wants to sleep!
Wonderful position, nice staff. Clean room and toilet, good hairdrier.. OK!
Wi fi was not working properly, may because my room was on third floor. No elevator: not a problem for me, but it can be for older people. Bad smell (fried oil) coming in from window, that looks to a wall, with the sky hidden by a non transparent glass.
