Great location. Hotel decor downstairs was beautiful. Rooms were cheaply done, chair was broken, bed was uncomfortable, shower/bath was very awkward to get in and out of and unpleasant to shower in. Housekeeping staff were very pushy and persistent when we were trying to sleep in, there were no 'do not disturb' signs in the room.

The room was lovely and large. They have added wireless internet which was great. The locations was perfect. They do not have an elevator and we were on the 2nd floor (3rd by N. American terms) so it was a bit of a walk. The receptionist helped us with our backs when we arrived. For the elderly, it would be quite a challenge. The breakfasts were a bit inconsistent... Hard-boiled eggs on one day out of the three.

The hotel is situated rather near from the city centre. We were travelling with two small kids and had a family room. It was situated in the cellar of the hotel, without usual windows. The superior rooms are probably a much better choice.

An absolutely charming place! It is a perfectly decorated hotel with comfortable rooms and lovely staff. The breakfasts are somewhat pricey, but absolutely worth the money (the quality of the products and the overall atmosphere is great). In the "comfort room" the bathroom/toilet door is absolutely transparent. Not that it bothered us too much, but it was a bit weird ).

The staff member that checked us in was delightful and the hotel has so much character and charm - great to stay in a unique and very individual hotel! There wasn't a room to leave our luggage when departing, it was simply left sitting in the foyer.

The location of the hotel is close to the beaches of Biarritz and to the city. Our room had air condition. WLAN was free. Our bed was worn. The wooden floor in the room was not really clean. The carpet on the stairs was dirty.

The location and friendlyness of the staff, the hotel interior is really nice. Our bed in room 117 was quite small for 2 persons. And the breakfast is ok, but not really a large amount of foods to choose from although that might be French.

Excellent location within walking distance of town's bars and restaurants. Breakfast good and nice to take on the terrace. There are a few rooms in the semi basement- we had one which was a family room and it was a good size with separate childrens bed area, but the windows were on to the pavement level and we didn't feel comfortable opening them at night. I wouldn't book that room again, but I would go back to the hotel.

Very friendly staff helped us in arranging taxi from SNCF gare and to the airport, as well as in printing our boarding passes. The room was quite big in comparison with other hotels of the same category and price in other French cities we've vitised during our trip (Paris, Blois, Bordeaux). Everything was almost excellent.

Quiet location and accessible to tourist areas without the congestion. Quiet hotel and felt more like a manor than a hotel. Unsure of what services were included; often had to ask for specific things that are standard at other hotels.

A delightful hotel situated in a good area, with easy access to the sea front, restaurants, shops etc.Spotlessly clean, with efficient cheerful staff. Was ideal for us, wanting a base in Biarritz but wanting to eat out and visit other places. Close to transport links - bus from St Jean de Luz almost dropped us at the door.
