The bed was comfy, the shower was a magnificent machine and the staff were really friendly. And considering the room overlooked both busy pavement cafes and a traffic-heavy main road outside, the noise levels were surprisingly low.

Good location

I the rooms at the front are far nicer than the one at the back (on each floor). We got the one at the back this time and it was fairly cramped with a smell of cooking constantly coming from the back of the restaurants nearby.

Not satisfied on front desk service. Very small room.

The hotel was a good value -- for Paris -- and could not have been more conveniently located. It is steps away from the Montparnasse Bienvenue metro stop, which has several important lines. Hotel staff was friendly and very accomodating -- they let me check in early, and were more than happy to hold my luggage after I checked out. The room was small but well arranged, and the bathroom was very nice and modern with an abundance of hot water and a nice deep bathtub -- essential after long days walking all over Paris. There was also free wireless internet.

Great location with loads of shops and restaurants and a couple of metro stops to everywhere we wanted to go. Exactly what we wanted for a one night stopover in paris. Staff very helpful and room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We chose this as it was in a good location to arrive at cdg airport one day and leave from d'o airport the next, do some site seeing and all at a good price. We paid 80 euros for a double room.

Front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean with renovated bathroom. Great location! Close to the Montparnasse station, metro and St-Germain area. Walking distance to anything.

Rooms are very close to each other and the doors were very loud. Most of the time I would sleep in late, but the neighbours would wake up early and the doors are very loud even when the maid is around and cleaning the rooms. She also knocked at my door even though I had the "do not disturb" sign on the door because I was sleeping in. She couldn't wait before I leave to come in to clean. The decor is tacky and elevator very very tiny (typical Paris I guess).

I did like to stay at Edouard vi Montparnasse. The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. For a short term stay in Paris it was perfect. Close to gare montparnasse with metro, train,bus and taxis, easy to go both into the city and around and to the airport, or to stroll in the streets nearby. Metro entrance just outside the hotel lobby. Thumbs up.

A bit noisy to live by bld.montparnasse - we had to close our windows at night and since the rooms were quite narrow the ventilation were not exactly optimal. No breakfast at the hotel.

Some of the staff were very helpful. Location was ok.

Some of the staff were rude and some not helpful at all. The room was cramped, on the 6th floor with eaves which had to be avoided carefully. The room was descrbed as superior???. Breakfast was poor. Very limited choice. Overall very poor value for money.

Very central and right opposite metro, RER and a bus stop, just outside the door!

Low price for good location and clean room. Very good location for going shopping in Saint Germain.
