Perfect location as it is very near to land marks, to shops, groceries, subways, restaurants, laundry, salon and to other necessities to your trip. Definitely we will stay again in this hotel and I highly recommend it to those who wants to stay in a hotel near the Eiffel Tower especially for a family. We love the silence in the night for a good sleep. The staffs are all kind especilly Amanda and Meriam. You can get the information you need and they are very accomodating. My family loves the breakfast. After our stay in Paris, we went to Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy and Switzerland and we can say that our stay in this hotel is the most memorable one. Though most hotel rooms in Paris are small, I just hope they can expand their shower room to a bigger one. We are just of normal size but we found the shower room little for us, how much more for an overweight or obese people. The sink in our room is very small.

i like the location The most unpleasant experience , the room was dirty, the bathroom was broken, the hotel is under renovation and from 7 a.m they repair the stairs and it was very noisy and the smell of the glue from carpets was very intense. The staff was impolite , when i change the room , they give us another room , more noisy, without ventilation, with view in the courtyard .

It's proximity to the Eiffel tower. We booked the family 4-bed room but were very disappointed! The room was very small, had no outside windows, just windows which looked onto the inner courtyard. The hotel was loud, doors banging, guests going through courtyard to their rooms, hotel staff having a heated arguement 'til approx.1am.! The bathroom was diabolical ... black mould on the tiles and shower, the door couldn't be closed if you were standing at the sink because there wasn't enough room (the door was too swollen to close properly anyway!). Both televisions were defect and the pillows on the bed were worthless. Moreover, on one of the pillows we found hairs from a previous guest! We would not recommend this hotel.

The location is excellent. And the hotel has a very nice design. It was recently remodeled and we found it very comfortable. The bathrooms are good. Better and bigger of what I imagined reading other customers comments. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were really nice. Perfect for a few days in Paris, when you walk all day and you return at night, have a nice bath and go to sleep. Internet worked perfectly. On tv, nothing to see, just local channels; but is Paris, who cares! The lack of organization of the staff. I made a reservation in January for our trip in July and they couldn't manage to keep the promise, I imagine they didn't even tried to. We booked through this website a family room (and confirmed this by mail) and when we arrived they said that they made a mistake and that they only had two rooms instead. Moreover, when we made the check in (a few ours later) they gave us the keys for two rooms. When we entered the rooms they were occupied! Both! Incredible! After that, the man of the reception starts looking and the computer with doubts and a totally concerned face. There was a moment when we though we weren't going to get a room at all. Ten minutes after that he managed to give us two rooms. We had to sleep separately, since the kids are not old enough to sleep alone. The staff was not nice at all. The lady who works during the night was rude; she didn't even want to talk at all.

Absolutely nothing. This hotel is not worth the money paid for it. The location is fairly good as it is walking distance to the Eiffel Tower unfortunately that is where it stops. I booked a family room - 1 room for 4 people and a Standard double room. When we arrived we were given 1 standard double room and 2 seperate rooms which we were told was okay for our children to sleep in as they will watch them. One room had a bathroom the other bathroom was in the passage with no lock. We had to split up and my husband slept in one room with one child and me in the other with our other child - our toilet leaked and the floor was so wet you could not walk in it. The hairdryer did not work and there were loose wires all over the wall that stuck out. The bed broke on night two. I was told by the hotel that that is what it was and there were no other rooms available and we could leave if we wanted to. I was paying Euro 195 a night for this room alone and made the reservation in January for April - I plan to take this further with Booking.com as this in a terrible hotel !!! I would have been better off camping.

The hotel was extremely clean and pleasant to stay in. I found the decor of the room very minimalistic and quite basic. No extras no faffing! You just get a bed, a small tv and a bed side table - which is what we needed when on a city break as you want to visit the city! The location is so so good! It is perfect! It is two minutes away from Ecole Militaire station. And next to the hotel there is a lovely small bistrot with friendly lovely staff and nice food. The size of the rooms (samll but typical of hotels in Paris), the decor, the facilities are not the best, the breakfast is not worth it. I still recommend this hotel if you need an easy going hotel with the perfect location!!!! Budget hotel ! the picture are a bit misleading and too flattering for what it actually is.

It's near the Eiffel Tower and (strangely for France) the staff were friendly! Rooms are very small (we had a superior room, you could not swing a cat!!!). The hotel was scruffy, toilets not clean, carpets on the stairs dirty. The bed was very uncomfortable. Very expensive for what it is.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! I also liked how the building was designed. It would be nice if they had someone to help with carrying your luggage to your room. I had a difficult time getting my luggage through the hallways, mostly because I had large, heavy luggage. Also, curtains for the bathroom window would be very nice!

Small hotel, but very comfortable and close to Effel Tower, all within walking range or metro. Room was small, but clean and very functional. Bath was small, but not a problem. Very enjoyable and we'd stay there again.

Clean. The hotel room was very, very small, but also very clean. The hotel staff was a mix. The female working at the reception was EXTREMELY RUDE. Our door did not lock properly, when we asked her about it, her response was she had a tooth ache and we had to wait until the next shift for someone else. The next morning when I asked if I could pay with pounds, she was again rude and rather than answer politely, she flippantly asks "well can you use Euro in Britain?" I would not stay there again as it is too overprices and the room was far too cramped (we got the suite w/4beds) if you are over 130lbs, forget about using the bathroom. Also bathroom does not have air-exchange and is in the middle of the room, can get very gross. Overall, I would go with a cheaper option so I can expect the bad services and cramped room.

Lovely staff, there over Xmas, service good nonetheless; I have little French, was not a problem. All amenities & metro in walking distance. . Room was fine, and hotel is being renovated, only "less than excellent" comment was re bath in need of renovation, clearly that is underway. Plan to stay again

Its located very close to many restaurants, serving seafood and japanese food which opens allows customers to enter even at 10.45pm! It is located about 15mins from Effiel Tower so its really close. Sometimes at night it would get quite noisy with cars honking. It is a really basic bed and bathroom so don't expect anything.

The location of Hotel Eiffel Rive Gauche is great 15 mins walk from Eiffel Tower, This was my thrid trip to Paris and I would recommand this hotel to any traveler. Our room had a view of the top part of the Eiffel Tower. Many rooms would not have much of a view. Overall I liked this hotel and would stay at it again. The biggest downfall of this hotel is the fact that they want 12 Euro per person for a breakfast buffet that isnt even worth a dollar. Anyone who reads this and is thinking of booking this hotel , Do book it and stay but do not take the buffet there are too many good reastaurants with in a 3 min walk to eat breakfast at and a whole lot cheaper.

The hotel location is really good, conveniently around the main areas to visit. The staff were friendly and they were very nice to cater to our small requests like the electrical adaptor for our notebook and the ice cubes. Wifi is available free in the hotel. The room is cleaned everyday. The check-in and check-out process is fast. It was a pleasant stay. Many thanks to the staffs of Hotel Eiffel Rive Gauche that we were able to meet like Albert and Amanda. This is not a complain. My mobile is not working, I wish they could make the telephone in the room to work. It will be more convenient for the travellers.

The location was good. The staff was very nice and helpful. Getting an internet number every time you wanted to use the internet was a pain. The rooms were very small. The walls are paper thin and we could hear what all other guests were up too.

Fairly close to the Eiffel Tower was good, room was clean. Rooms pretty small and dated, no wifi though said there was, access to room was via a very narrow walkway that could barely get case through. Pretty derar for what it was, but I suppose it was location, location, location.

The best thing is the location near the Eiffel Tower. The Breakfast is not bad to... If you like to be in a very small room, with a mini bathroom, and don’t worry with the water pressure, this is the place for you! You cannot take a reasonable bath with this water pressure…

Good view as we stayed at Eiffel Room. 24Hrs receptionist for safety. Room is small and very very small toilet, shower area just enough to stand without movement. Old and noise door hanger at room. Really tiny wall, can hear most sound from next room. Dangerous stair design outside the lift.
