Excellent location! Don't keep high hopes for a budget hotel. But a good option for first timers in Paris with a very short stay at such an excellent location and value for money.
No frills hotel. Very small rooms. WI-FI and satellite channels were not working. Try other options around this hotel such as hotel de la paix tour eiffel tower.
Nice location. Friendly staff.
Room is a shoebox. The bathroom had around 3 square meters and the double bed room had around 12. Internet was not working in my room.
The location was absolutely fantastic- so close to the Eiffel Tower and the metro as well. Room was small but aren't they all in Paris? Bed was very comfy and the room was clean.
Attitude of the receptionist
1. Best location - 10 mins walk to Eiffel Tower and Big Bus Tour. 2. Best value for money. Affordable budget hotel for a pleasant Paris stay. 3. Very friendly staff.
The location was in a nice area and the hotel looked appealing
The room was freezing and had no heating! The hairdryer was a health hazard and was melted around the end The room was very small and had a rubbish view The hotel was a lot further away from landmarks despite what was on the website! This was an issue as my partner has recently compressed two discs in his back and shouldn't walk far!
finally spend some money on remodelling!
the area was fantastic
bathroom very tiny
location close to Eiffel tower, pleasant staff
This was a nice place close to the Eiffel Tower and Rue Cler. Nice feeling, staff and facilities. Lots of food options on all budgets nearby.
There are no tea and coffee making facilities with the room. This is fairly standard in France but really would make it better...
Fantastic location and staff. Lived up to everything we expected and great value for money. Would definitely recommend Hôtel Eiffel Rive Gauche.
There could have been a curtain to separate the 2 sleeping sections in room 29
Excellent location but that's all it has. Rooms were very small. Staff OK and not much facility. Good option if you want to stay in city center and don't want to spend time in hotel room.
Small rooms, less facilities.
Staff were very good, calm, approachable and friendly. The breakfast was ok but the room it was served in was a little small and the woman cleaning up was a little slow but on the whole fine.
Room 29 is too small for a family with older teenagers. The shower was ok but the room itself is tiny. We are a petit family but struggled to get into the door and to use either the loo or wash basin. To be fair for two nights it was bearable but any longer and we would have had a teenage mutiny.
Staff were all nice and informative to all questions
Expecting better sleep for mg money
I liked the location, and that the staff were able to speak English.
I did not like the size of the room, it was very tiny. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and I was unable to get great sleep. We would be woken up every morning to cigarette smoke pouring into our room, and loud banging of the maids. The restroom was also very moldy, almost everything seemed to leak.
The price and location to the Eiffel Tower were great. The staff was excellent. They warned us about the pickpockets and infamous gypsy scams. They also have us advice on how to deal with them. They were also very helping arranging transportation to the airport.
The bathroom & shower were extremely small however this seems to be a European thing not limited to this hotel.
The location is great, close to the Eiffel tower and alot of other tourist attractions. The area is great with alot of restaurants and cafées.
We booked the superior room with a view of the Eiffel tower. The room was maximum 7 square meters, there was not even space to walk next to the bed and the bathroom was super small. (And they call that a "superior room"?) We then asked if we could change to a larger room and we got a room on the 2nd floor that was a little bit bigger. There is no AC and it gets really hot during the night because the room is so small. The walls are really thin, so you can hear everything in the whole building. The breakfast is really poor... Bad coffee, cheap white bread and croissants. No ham or turkey spreads, no cucumber, tomatoes and salad. ONLY cheese. Not worth 13 euros. You can get breakfast and brunch for 8 euros at the restaurants nearby. The room looked nothing like the picture.
Location, stuff was very kind & helpfull.
it's expensive for this quality. room is old.
Reasonable cost for great location.
Not very spacious.
The room was very clean and well presented
The presentation of the inside building was cramped dark and stairs uneven and carpet dirty and stained. Thank goodness they had a lift as stairs where dangerous. Cleaning staff has very little room to leave there cleaning goods, dirty linen left outside rooms with little room to walk past in the cramped passages. Very disappointed in choice
breakfast is very basic and not really worth the cost when there are nearby places to purchase meals
The hotel was very conveniently located near the Eiffel Tower and great boutique restaurants. Staff was very helpful and very friendly. Room was clean. Wifi was free and worked well.
Room was small but nonetheless well priced for the area and clean. Friendly staff makes up for it.
The location was ideal. We always stay near Ecole Militaire and enjoy the area.
The only negative comment is that as the hotel is located between and across from apartments, there was a very loud party one night that lasted past 3am. I came equipped with ear plugs, but others in our group were kept awake be the music and loud carrying on. I had expected it to stop by 10pm, or perhaps midnight and was amazed that it went on well into the wee hours. We could perhaps have gone down to the desk and demanded that some action be taken, but decided against it. The rest of our stay was wonderful, and it was gratifying to see a few bleary eyed neighbors from next door walking out for breakfast and perhaps a little "hair of the dog".
