The ibis Styles Saint-Malo Centre Historique sits in the center of town, just 100 ft from Sillon Beach. Its bar has a terrace that offers panoramic views of the city walls.

Hotel Alba is in Saint-Malo, facing the beach and next to the port. It offers a bar and rooms with sea views and direct beach access.
Score from 404 reviews Very good
The annexe location, approx. 70 m from the main hotel, up a side street. The bedroom was functional with a mis-match of a meagre amount of furniture. The WC was down a passage away from the washing facilities which itself had little space for hanging towels. The garage at 15 Euros per night had very restrictive access and whilst indicating space for three cars was really only suitable for two. The breakfast, in the main building was over valued and after the first day we had breakfast elsewhere.
Location . Friendly staff
I liked the location. The bed was comfortable and staff helpful.
Room was stuffy. Needs a fan at least. And very little hot water for a shower.
Loved location. Room spotless and staff wonderful!
Quite good wi-fi and location.
The worst thing was night-club just across the street. It works all night with people coming and leaving. Once in the nignt there was a fight with police arrests and so on. It is very noisy and windows has no insulation, we did not slept good just single night. Besides there is no insulation in the doors so you can hear how people enter the nearby room very good. The "historical" part of the hotel has nothing historical besides strange room-planning. The finishing is scratched and untidy. Room was in some places simply unclean (mostly in bath). All stuff has great problems with english language. It is very hard to explain any thing. If you will use parking of the hotel you should leave keys at the reception, and it costs 15 eur for 24 hours. I was told at the reception that the price is just the same as at city-parking, but it is not true, as payment at the city parking is taken only for day hours and at night it is almost free.
Being close to 109 night club
The location of hotel is absolutely amazing. The stuff is very friendly and helpful.
Everything (e.g., the bathroom, towels, etc.) except the mattress.
Secure parking which was great. Overall good for an overnight stay in 'the skippers' room
We booked thinking we would be in the main hotel but were shown to additional rooms around the corner. Rooms very small
Room in main hotel excellent
Room in Skippers House was "OK"
It was quiet...
I wanted a romantic hotel for the last night of our Holidays. The room looked old and not romantic and the bed was 2 single beds put together. How romantic is that when you can't sleep in each other arms because you feel the middle of the bed ? Breakfast is outrageously expensive. 11 pounds. Wifi signal was so low that we couldn't properly connect. the hairdryer didn't work properly. Next time I'll go to the ibis styles which is 50 meters away from this hotel that I do not recommend.
Right in the heart of St Malo.
Nothing all was good
Very nice helpful staff in very quaint building. We had a superior room which was very clean and attractive. Great to have tea making facilities in a French hotel.
Unfortunately our room was on the second floor over the street, the room was warm being August so with the windows open the street noise went on to 4.30 am!!! There seemed to be a bar open nearby 'til late, so street noise was loud with open windows, when we closed them it improved but then the room got quite stuffy.
Loved the room and the parking - which is essential. Staff were great. The location is perfect for exploring the walled city, harbour, and marina. Not part of the hotel but they keep promotional literature for a free English walking tour which was priceless!
A very noisy front street with rowdy disco and party goers pouring out vocally till 5AM! Ask for a room at the back. Breakfast was adequate but fresher, better croissant available just along the road. We'd stay again but away from the noise.
This hotel is perfectly situated within the walls of st. Malo. Clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff. Parking is available opposite the hotel in a locked garage. Very handy as it can be difficult to park,(call and reserve parking in advance). This was my second stay at this hotel, I will be returning.
nice location in the middle of the intra muros.
slightly strange smell in the room, probably from the old carpet .
location; its breakfast
in need of an update; the annex in which we stayed was quite separate from the main hotel.
The room was of a good size with shower room and separate WC
The room was in the Hotel Elizabeth annex up two flights of stairs with no lift.
room was like sleeping in a cupboard. it was so small it was not possible to fully open the shower room door as the bed was so close. Toilet door you would not wan to close as far too small, so needed to keep it open! Window opened onto a brick wall painted with a beach view! Not good, but my husband would not let me complain, very british!
Inside walled town
Proximity to a nightclub
Full of character
Lots of street noise
Convenient for restaurants.
We were located in the annexe, away from the main hotel, so difficult to give an acutate review. The room was clean but basic. We did not use their restaurant, so no comment there.
the central location. Good breakfast. Then main Hotel is of a high standard with lovely breakfast room in the cellar
The annex (Skippers) building is not up to the high standard of the main hotel. Our room had a stale feeling/smell The standard and quality of the shower room was poor. Hand held shower over the bath. We felt the price was high for the standard of the accommodation.
location is very good, in the old town but silence, kind stuff
hair dryer useless
Convenient to the Quayside parking, and close to the restaurants.
This was not our usual stay in St Malo, but the only one who we found to have a vacancy for the two nights we stayed. It is difficult to give as full review, as we were in the annexe, away from the main hotel, and we did not use any of the Hotels facilities.
