Comfortable bed. Secure parking for motorcycle.

Very hard to find as the address given is wrong. It should be Boulevard Etienne Saintenac. L'Empire Hotel. Some Italian people also found the same problem. Very basic two star. You get what you pay for - just!

Friendly, relaxed hotel, good ensuitee facilities and very clean. Have recommended it to friends looking for a budget hotel in Nimes. Location on the edge of the old town is also really handy.

    The friendliness of the staff.

The hotel is shabby and has evidently seen much better days. It is badly in need of a little investment to bring it back up to standard, for instance by replacing worn out carpets. The breakfast is, by 3-star standards in the region at best mediocre. Real coffee, not instant, is after all one of the things France still takes pride in ...

The beds were, without any hyperbole, the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept in. They sagged in the middle so much that it was like sleeping in a bowl. The sagging was obvious even when no one was in the bed.

Room was clean, nice and very comfortable. Very good position: hotel is 5 minutes walking from the heart of the city.

The receptionist not very welcoming; she was not so kind and she even didn't accompany us to our room.

Hotel has really improved since my last stay 12 months ago. Looks to be a well managed joint now, and they are trying to improve further. Even the area of Nimes it is in is no longer a red light district!! Warmly recommended.

Car park needs to be booked in advance and costs 10€ a night. A lot of money to park your car squashed up in a shed adjacent to the hotel where you can only get to it with the help of staff moving other cars.

    The location is central.

We booked triple room and they gave a room which is for 6 people. No aircon. The bar outside is playing very loud music up to 1 am. Cannot sleep.

    Nice size room Pleasant staff

Decor was very tired No real shower, only the tube in a bath with no curtain. The booking promised a private terrace but there was none.
