|Located in the centre of Paris, just a 10-minute walk from the Louvre Museum, this bright and contemporary apartment features views of the Parisian rooftops. The Palais-Royal Garden is 600 metres...|
We just stayed at this lovely hotel for 3 nights - excellent from any point of view. Great location, super staff, stylish and full of positive energy rooms.
The hotel is ideally situated for those shop-a-holics among you. Convenient for local attractions/transport. Some might say it lacks curb appeal, but it more than makes up for that in substance.
Being so close to all the attractions.
Can't think of anything.
Location and the staff excellent
No view from the window
Good and friendly assistants.
Double room bathroom is a bit small.
Excellent location Lovely friendly staff that can't do enough to make your stay enjoyable Able to buy museum tickets for Louvre so we didn't have to que up to get in.
Some of the fixtures falling to bits ie edging coming off walls and fell on my daughter in night! Breakfast expensive if not included in room rate. We stopped in room 414 (executive suite) which was nice but next door has an upstairs so our room was very noisy especially with people going up and down the stairs and children running around on the wooden floors.
Excellent breakfast included
Location excellent for metro and all major attractions. Staff very friendly and helpfull, food good.
can be busy at breakfast times due to a relatively small restautrant space for the number of guests.
Location close to major attractions, shopping and restaurants. Staff very polite and accommodating, both the ones in the hall and the others serving breakfast. Superior rooms spacious and well equipped. Wi-fi signal strenght at ground floor is very good.
The breakfast room is too small and in crowded hours you won't find a place to sit and you're too close to others. The Hotel reserved us a ground floor room: this location was quite noisy, due to the morning cleanings and to people passing by.
Best location and access to all important sight seeing places. Hotel crew are all very friendly and in good manner. House keeping and in-hotel security is also perfect. I do recommend this hotel for the family travel in Paris.
Wi-fi connection was very poor in our room 503. No problem at the lobby, but may need to be improved in some rooms.
The price for additional crib for a one year old baby is 150euro/day!!!! They did not allow us to have a room with queen bed without this extra charge. Rude!!
Gr8 Staff Gr8 location--near the Louvre Wonderful breakfast. Newly renovated Comfortable Many restaurants nearby Close to Rue Rivoli
No negative comments
Recent Reno was good. Bed big and comfortable. Staff tried hard.
No power and no discount.
very good location and friendly stuff
we went to the hotel with a taxi called in the train station for 16 euros. But when we took the taxi we booked in the hotel to the same train station, it costed us 60 euros. Nobody remind us this in advance. I think that is really upset. So mind the track!
We would like to give our special thanks to Antonio who made our stay at the hotel a very special experience. His friendly attitude, readiness to help, ability to answer all questions and help with any enquiries made the hotel stay apart from many others we experienced during three weeks holiday in France.
Staff were very professional and courteous. Accommodations were first class.
The hotel is close to major attractions such as the Louvre and also a short walk to rail transport direct to Disneyland Paris, which was our next stop. The rooms were a good size and interconnecting, great for our family of 5. The breakfast buffet was delicious and was the perfect start to the long days of sight-seeing. Generally, the staff were very friendly and informative and the hotel was clean and comfortable.
We ordered in-room dining one night and it took a long time to arrive and the food wasn't great, but it arrived with an apology.
We were travelling with our dog and the staff was very friendly towards our pet and of course also to us. Location is excellent and the rooms are big. Small breakfast room with nice buffet.
Nothing at all.
GLASS ON THE BED!!!!!!! my husband's foot got cut by the glass on the bed in the early morning 6:00am!!!! I went to reception to ask for the first aid as there has no sign on the phone to tell u what number is to call to reception. But they have nothing, no bandage, no sterile plaster. and the receptionist said he cannot do anything ask us wait to the manager come to work at 9:00am. he just gave me a spray for stop bleeding and some face cotton pad. There were blood everywhere on the bed on the floor on the bath but no one can help us in the hotel. They just said they dont know what to do because they never seen this happen before. I was so scared and going to faint. My husband keep using a face cotton pad to hold the injury area to stop bleeding. And we told the receptionist to tell the manager to come to our room when she arrived the hotel. Until 9:15am still no ppl come to our room. We called to the reception to find the manager, finally we found the reception number on the hotel book. She came to our room said the same thing , she said we never see this happen so she dont know what to do. And suggested me to go to the Pharmacy myself to buy some cream for my husbands foot. I can't feel there is any help from them at all. Finally i found more glasses on the room floor and asked the manager change a room for us. There was one more thing when i am checking in at the hotel, the receptionist ( A guy without hair and wear the glasses) said we need to pay EUR200/night for a extra bed for my 13 years son, i said it shiwed EUR100/night in the booking.com. He said why i just go to see the booking.com? i should call to the hotel to make booking, not through booking.com. and he said booking.com information is not correct. I paid €250/night for a double room, need to pay extra €200/night for a bed?! total €450 for a night!? then i tried to ask for €150/night but he yelled at me and very rude. And said €180!!
The family suite was perfect. We all have enough room to have our own space. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
Great location, friendly staff, nice design, perfect air conditioning
Night from Tuesday to Wednesday was much more expensive than two previous ones
I had a great time in Paris. The hotel has a really good location.
I didn't like the fact they didn't ask me which was my preferred room floor. I have a sleep problems and the noise in the stairs very close to my room made a bit upset.
excellent location, very friendly stuff and finally decent rooms (25m2) in Paris. room 115 excellent.
the bed was very soft. need to be harder a little bit.
Every staff member we encountered was very friendly, spoke English, and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. This started a week prior to our stay with assistance in arranging a car from the airport to our last day with car service back to the airport. The location was incredible. A few minutes from the Louvre Museum and the Seine, metro, great restaurants, etc. Loved Paris and loved L'Empire! Thank you!
I believe this could be attributed to our joining rooms via shared hallway and an external door to our rooms (we kept both room doors open and just locked the external door), but the soundproofing wasn't very good. We were awaken a couple of times by our neighbor's kids knocking on their door and having conversations in the hall way.
Buffet breakfast Helpful staff Great location for shopping English TV channels
No good restaurants nearby Very expensive (but then again, so is all of paris) Good wifi, but required you to sign up at least once a day.
