Friendly and helpful staff Location
The location and the ambience were excellent as was the breakfast
There was no mattress cover and the sheets were thin and small. The dustbins and bottles are emptied at around 6am on Friday so it was noisy.
Location as it is close to a town of excellent character. A comfortable junior suite. Breakfast excellent. The person on duty on Sunday morning could not have been more pleasant or helpful.
Parking was so far from the hotel and given cobbled streets this is a nightmare for people with any large or small disability. The staff member on duty when we arrived was surly and did not improve. We almost thought of going to stay at another hotel.
Everything.Needs the French equivalent of the Hotel Inspector.
Very good location. Nice and clean room.
We had a room on the street side. That's pretty noisy. Not all the staff is friendly.
Location and quirkyness.
Very small rooms in attic - no real fire escape. Noise (rave!) all night outside hotel which was so extreme that we had no sleep - hotel staff should have salt with this. Slightly surly reception and parking a long way away!
Central location - good breakfast.
Room / bathroom was not clean - dusty. No water / drink in room. Very small rooms. No parking No internet in rooms despite advertised. Not usually an issue but I needed to do some urgent work. Not value for money - 250 euro per night you would generally expect more. More like a bed and breakfast than quality hotel. When rained water ran down the walls in the hall . Understaffed - one man in the evening running bar/restaurant/reception..
Loved the location and quirkyness of the hotel
The reason we booked this hotel is it said it had parking and it clearly didn't and as we had a fair about of luggage in our car due to being on a road trip this was quite a hassle
comfy room and beds, we had a junior suite, well appointed. Lovely situation in old Honfleurs.
No hot water Sat pm or Sun am until we asked, they said a problem with the water heater... no coffee/tea making facilities in the room, a complimentary bottle of water would have been nice.
Great location in a beautiful town.
Decent bed Historically Interesting location
Tiny room and the building was so old it felt like an allergy waiting to happen. Downstairs smells like fish and the rooms sit over a noisy pub. Flies on the food at breakfast.
Location, helpful staff.
Parking and unloading problems
Breakfast poor and overpriced. No ventilation in bathroom and toilet
The hotel was just a few steps from the harbour. We enjoyed wandering the streets and discovered Honfleur's treasures on the way. The hotel was very comfortable and they were able to put our two room next to each other. Wish we could have stayed longer!
We had to wait to check in- although they did allow us to leave our bags. Parking was very far away. But it all worked out.
Decor and comfy bed.
Not very friendly staff on arrival. No hot water in the morning.
No parking or even unloading. Noisy late evening and early morning from 0600
The location is ideal. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom was roomy and clean.
The room was small.
Comfortable room, very clean, staff friendly. Breakfast was adequate. Hotel ideally located in the centre of Honfleur.
No on site parking, but free car park approx 10 mins walk. However, you can park outside for a few minutes to drop off and collect suit cases. Noisy in the mornings with the rubbish collection.
The location was in the heart of the city
Room was very small
The location was within walking distance of the tulip fields and the hotel had a nice lounge and restaurant .
The restaurant was quite busy and was difficult to get the waiter's attention.
Loved the town and the hotel. The hotel is right at the center of things and perfectly located to enjoy the numerous bars and restaurants, although you don't need to go far as the food and service at the Hotel restaurant is impossible to fault. The building is hundreds of years old and the corridors and stairs are impossibly tight and narrow which simply adds to it's character. I can't wait to go back.
Parking is difficult but you can't have a hotel in this location and expect parking too.
The location of the hotel was perfect -very central for all that Honfleur had to offer.
The room we had was very small as were the stairs and corridor leading to it. You risked banging your head on light fittings and the TV as you moved around the room and you could not pass one another once in the room. Storage was minimal with open shelves and short hanging space - no door on cupboard as there wasn't the space to open one! Suitcase stand provided but again no space to set it up. Breakfast and meals quite expensive so didn't use.
Friendly staff and location
The dustbin collection at 3am and then am. No pastries for Breakfast. When they arrived they were undercooked and unappetising.
Great location rtwo steps away from the port and restaurants Staff is helpfull and knowlegeable
The water quality of the shower was very bad The staircase to get up to the rooms is extremely narrow
