Set in Saint-Germain Castle’s park, the Pavillon Henri IV offers 4-star accommodations with amazing views of Paris and the Seine Valley. Guest rooms combine elegant decor with modern facilities.
Score from 124 reviews Very good
Situated in the peaceful surroundings of Paris, the Campanile Saint-Germain-En-Laye offers easy access to the center of the city and all its famous monuments.
Score from 202 reviews Good
Le Chateau du Val is in the forest of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, 30 minutes from Paris. It offers rooms with a view of the park and free Wi-Fi access. Each guest room comes with a TV and radio.
Score from 200 reviews Very good
This hotel is a short distance from Paris in a quiet location, striving to achieve a warm and friendly atmosphere. Montesson is in Yvelines, to the west of Paris.
Score from 81 reviews Good
The hotel was good enough.
Good value at the discounted rate and a very good location for taking the RER into Paris.
Normal (i.e. not discounted) room rates are expensive as some attention is needed to paintwork. Some refurbishment is required to parts of the hotel.
Close location to forest walks. Great Museum nearby.
Hotel is somewhat jaded. Damp patches in bathroom. Staff polite but Price really only reflects proximity to Paris, not what you get.
As they say, you pay for what you get. So sub 100 Euro and close to Paris train probably shouldn't have expected any more
Quirky room, no hot water, no wifi, no power sockets to charge your phone (without removing an essential table lamp)
Room to dirty Room to small for two People. There is no way to tuck clothes in a wardrobe
The location is superb. It's quiet like a mountain village and set only five minutes walk to the railway station from where on is in 15 minutes in La Defense and in 25 minutes at Chatellet. An during these 5 minutes walk you come through a wonderful park with an incredibly beautiful castle. The hotel itself offers good services, is clean and very reasonably priced.
Both the room and the bathroom were a bit worn out and didn't work all that well.
Large well appointed room with great view overlooking park and close to Chateau gardens.
Breakfast room rather airless
So beautifull place but need a full relooking
Humidity So old Please mr owner do something !!
The staff were brilliant, recommending restaurants, Organising pizzas and looking after our bikes.
Mossies when we left the windows open
bathroom door would close with difficulty
it is convieniently located, staff is pleasant, clean, good value.
For rooms on the garden side, best not to open open the windows because of the mosquitos! The bathroom could use a place to put toiletries.
Location. RER a few minutes walk away. Paris half an hour. St Germain is a pleasant place to chill out.
Restaurant a bit pricey.
The room was quite traditional hotel room, vintage, nothing special about it. But the staff was really friendly: we arrived at the moment when one party in the hotel was ending and another starting, so they were really busy there, but they still were friendly and helpful for us, too. Location is nice, because St. Germain en Laye looked like a nice city.
Nothing really that we didn't like: the place was just like we imagined it would be.
Location in St Germain. Quite clean. breakfast good quality Staff friendly and speak English Wifi works !
Small stuffy room. No aircon No food in restaurant - hotel used for functions. Old fashioned
Location was amazing, very close to the centre of town but not noisy or busy. The room was spacious and comfortable, as was the bathroom.
Could have used air-con. We had the window open and had to kill a few mosquitoes in the middle of the night.
Staff were very helpful and polite and Mohammed went out of his way to book a meal in town as the Restaurant was closed (Wedding - didn't help us much as we used Hotel as stop on long Journey)
TV did not work - Mini Bar Fridge did not work - only one bath / hand towel per room - generally seems a bit run down, needs a bit of TLC
A perfectly reasonable hotel, with no luxuries but quiet and reasonably central in regards to St. Germain en Laye.
The Hotel is very run down and needs to be refurbished.
Easy access to the rail
Difficult to find Poor door locks
Very easy access ..;Perfect to drop one's car here ( free parking ) and reach Paris City by train ( RER ) , with the possibibility to walk locally, either along the town steets , either in the Louis XIV 's castle park , and even in the Saint-Germain forest , with superb old oaks
This hotel was probably all new / modern thirty years ago ...it will need a revamping next years to match to-day requirements ..It does not matter for us , because we are in our seventies , and prices are very sympathic for the week end nights ( ask for a large room with remote outside view )
The location, just a RER ride into central Paris, along with free and easy car parking make this a very convenient spot for exploring Paris without the driving and car parking problems. Friendly staff.
Room a bit on the small side and rather basic, but as a quiet place to sleep OK.
Good position Comfortable room Good tv with all main channels Shower that worked Night porter No noise
Decor is a bit faded Breakfast finishes early (for me) at 09 30
Location 1) green area 2) close castle and park 3) close to transport 4) not far from Paris
room noise insulation (little noise from corridor)
The location, convenience, free parking
No proper shower cubicle nor shower curtain. No full length mirror in bedroom. Staff were surly and not particularly helpful. Breakfast at €13:50 per head and a small bottle of beer at €6 we're not good value, particularly compared with the overall room rate.
