The hotel was warm and comfortable close to the metro. The area was lively with plenty of bistros nearby.
The blind on my window didn't work so I had to try to change into my clothes under cover of the wardrobe! Also the volume on the tv wasn't loud enough.
Reasonable location, clean, comfortable bed, quiet, fair price, sheets and towels were changed daily. Warm room (very cold spell when we were there) with good hot shower. Fine if used just for sleeping and getting ready to go out.
Yes, it was small and basic, with tiny, but adequate, bathroom - like in budget travel hotels - a self-contained unit, with newish toilet, washbasin and shower. Not a place to spend long daytiime hours in, but that isn't the point of a stay in Paris.
Location near markets, friendly&helpful staff, near metro stops,
Tiny bathroom-shower very hard to use, bed rock hard.
The sheets were old and broken No carpet on the floor Shower room too small Very small towels No hair dryer Much noise during the night, acoustic is very bad.
It is a good hotel with clean beds, sheets and bathroom. The area is quite to some extent, where you can find little restaurants. There is a very good Tunisian restaurant nearby and I strongly recommend it for delicious and cheap dinners.
The WiFi is really bad. It doesn't work properly in all places. You have to place your cell phone near to the door in order to get the signal. The room is very small and you can hear your neighboring rooms very easily. Also, the bathroom is very small.
Location was good. The room was cleaned every day. Staff was good.
The door wasn't soundproof at all. I could clearly hear what my neighbours said. The pillow was bad.
Place - not far from metro, quite, safe at night time, lots of shops and markets. Beautiful stairs to rooms :)
Really good location, metro five minute walk away! Very clean! Staff spoke English well and were helpful! Parking not far either and secure!
Bed a bit too hard! They took £50 out of my account even though I paid in cash on arrival and still not back in my account 1 week later!
This place was located in a real neighborhood, not a tourist area, and it let you become part of daily life there! The metro subway was about a brisk 10-minute walk, too!
The front desk closed at midnight, so your first night's check in needs to be timed appropriately.
Helpful staff, clean and cozy room, 5 minute walk to metro, very close to China town and lots of good food and shops.
Bathroom was really small, might be a problem for larger people.
location (amenities, metro, great neighbourghood) no frills small but functional bathroom clean best value
only hand towels smell of smoke in corridor (but not in rooms)
Room (on the top floor) was clean and had a view of downtown Paris. Hotel is only 500m away from metro with a lots of Bars and Shops around. Staff was friendly and helpful when wifi did not work.
My room was smelly.
Location is good and safe Hotel is clean Close to underground
Close to Metro. Free WIFI.
Very small bathroom/wc combo (~1.5m2) Really small room. You can clearly hear the people from other rooms.
Simple clean double en-suite room. Good WiFi reception. Very comfortable bed. Good shower and effective central heating. Village type location with nice local cafes/bars.
not far from downtown, good value for the Money, we would go there next time too
we were surprised by not having blankets at our bed. it was Quite cold, so we took the uncomfortable extra blanket that was in the closet. but we survived all right.
Clean quiet but very small room
It is old fashioned, small, dark room with worn out bedding. Bathroom was clean, but could not be smaller. The hotel has only 1 star, it should not have even this one. Good connection with the center of Paris.
Nothing! But if you are lucky and you will stay in the last floor , you can view the little bit of the eiffel:)
The Hotel is terrible! It's very expensive and not deserve this price. All of the stuffes are dirty and old. The room was very small and the bathroom was smaller than room:)
The location, the staff, the facilities.-
It was among the few reasonable priced hotel during our stay in Paris.
Overpriced for its value, even for Paris. Extremely small bathroom (I am thin, still banged unintentionally my head&body a lot on the wall, toilet etc.) Staircase is only good for professional mountain climbers (I hope you don't have luggage to carry up and down the stairs, or you are a heavy lifter). Extremely noisy neighbourhood. Semi-friendly staff.
1) too small bathroom 2) no elevator
Not spacious...it limits your movement.
Good price for Paris and the staff is there to help you.
The room is quite small
Good location and clean.
Not convenient for older people or with lots of luggage, as there is no elevators and there are 5 floors to the hotel. No breakfast option. Small rooms and bathroom, although that is not much of a concern if you are out of the room most of the day!
