Room is very small, but efficient. It is officially the smallest shower I've ever used. The shower/toilet/sink is all one unit (with a shower curtain). I'm 5'7" and 140 lbs, not a big guy, and it was very tight having a shower, just FYI. No elevator and I was on the 6th floor. I'm in decent shape, but if you start sweating by just looking at stairs, I'd avoid this place. Neighbourhood was a bit dirty, but I didn't feel unsafe, even late at night.
Wifi was reliable. The manager seemed to be on top of it and checked with me occasionally to make sure I wasn't having problems. Big double windows open to let a lot of air in. External blackout blind is nice if you like a very dark room when sleeping. The combo of the windows and the blind block street noise very well, no issues. Bed was firm but comfortable. Location was fine, but it depends on what you're doing. I did all the normal Paris tourist stuff with no big hassle. The Pere Lachaise cemetery (enormous) is walking distance from the hotel and SO worth it. Go there on a nice day, it's beautiful. If you like peaceful walks, trees, birds chirping, photography, or just getting away from the gong show and crowds of Paris, then give it a shot. Jim Morrison is buried there, among other notables.

- the bathroom was quite small (you can sit on the toilet and wash your feet. haha). but very clean!
+ quite close to the metro station and there was a small supermarket + some people wrote that they didnt feel save in this area, but we didnt have this feeling + it was clean and they store our luggage for whole day (because we had flight at evening) I recommend this hotel for staying in Paris

I would not recommend for elders to be in the rooms above third flour.
This is cosily hotel where everything is so small but just enough! It is characteristic of Paris and maybe that is the reason why they like to spend time outside so often. Metro station is 200 m away (number 11) and neighborhood is very pleasant with few bars, bakeries and small restaurant. There are some shops where you can find cheap clothes or shoes (leather nice shoes for man for 20 euros!).

The blankets were old and ugly, no breakfast, the noise from the room next to ours,
Location (5 min walk from jourdain station), wifi (it works perfect), staff (helpful), bed (nice mattress),clean bathroom with hot water (tiny-something like a plastic conteiner that was installed afterwards inside the room), lcd tv, quiet region with restaurants and supermarkets.

No elevator (we had a room on the 5th floor). Room and bathroom very very petit (small).
Price. Very close to a metro station.

i could not catch wifi signal, the bathroom was extremely small, and apart of that I think I could have get a better room for this price I guess
the receptionist knew some basic english which was helpful, the location of the hotel was quite ok, room clean and bed fairly comfy

late checkout not being available
It improved since last time I was here. Basic facilities but very clean.

They only provided two small towels for the bathroom. They never did the refill for soap and shower gel. We left a note asking for shower gel and they didn t bother to leave some. The cleaning staff uses chlorine to clean the bathroom and the floor, so the air was really intoxicating in the room. The windows didn t close well, so it was a bit noisy. Also, it was really cold, not enough heat. Bathroom is the smallest one can ever imagine. The room is quite small, too. The safe-deposit box didn t work. And maybe the worst of all: the staff had acces cards and entered twice in the room while we were there, without knocking at the door or something. Imagine being in the room and someone rushing over without any notice.
Free wifi, cheap stores in the neighborhood

In my first room on the third night, I smelt burning.I doubt if what the hotel staff said was true(ie.that one should unplug kettle from source)but my kettle had started to melt. They were in the process of a refit/rewire. Had I not been aware of the smell of burning at 11.30.pm and gone downstairs to insist on a room change, goodness knows what might have happened.
My first room had a lovely view over the rooftops, being able to see Sacre Coeur and part of the Eiffel Tower.Clean and tidy.
March 18, 2015
bath towels does not exist only face towel and shower space to smallc

March 12, 2015
I know it was only 1* so what was there was good, but my room smelt very badly of cigarette smoke.and It was on the 2nd floor & there was no lift I wouldn't stay there again as I need more facilities.
The bed was comfortable & there was a very good shower & lots of hot water

Great hotel, very close to metro station. Perfect place if you want to visit Paris just for few days. Vary calm place, hotel clean and comfortable! We will come back!

→ No elevator.
→ Very good location, near Metro and bus stop. → Room and bathroom are small, however it is good for those who just want a place to rest after a day wandering around Paris.

Stayed here twice and enjoyed my stay both times. It's a basic hotel, small room, but it's clean and central. That's all I wanted from my stay in Paris.
February 23, 2015
-yes it's true that the rooms are veeery small and the bathrooms are super tiny (the smallest I've ever seen) but they are clean and quite comfortable. Location and price make this hotel a place I'd recommend.
-good value for money -great location -quick and easy access to centre of Paris by metro which is 5 min walk from the hotel -supermarket nearby open daily -clean and comfortable -enough if you come for a few days on a sightseeing trip -not too noisy
February 22, 2015
Old, slightly dirty and smelly firniture. No facilities to work (lamp, table, chair).
View is perfect from 6th floor
February 22, 2015
There is no lift in five stories building. Also the heater doesn't work enough.
February 19, 2015
The concierge had just stepped out when we arrived, so we did have to wait 10 min, but we accept this is the possible risk of this type of property; the bistro next door (same name, no connection) was very helpful,- so we waited with a beer!
Small & simple, in an out-of-the way & rather scruffy but very colorful & friendly part of town. Relieved to find it was nice & clean. Would use again in similar circumstances.

Front office services poor. They close after 12 O'clock. Personnel may be more smiling :)
Hotel is in good location for that price. Rooms are clean.

-Use the Metro to get here. Cost a bomb if taking taxi from train station. -Need more sound proofing for door.
Good WiFi service.
