L'Escale de la Baie de Somme

This B&B was bright and clean and comfortable although a tiled floor in cold weather can be. . . well, cold. The heating in the room worked well. Despite being next to a main road the double glazing was effective and with the shutter down there was virtually no noise although my room faced the road. The owner is a splendid lady who delights in showing off the facilities including the motorised shutters. She is also in her element at breakfast when all guests gather at one table. This can be very convivial and she joins in the lively discussion. A very good place for a stopover. It is a short drive into Favièrs and an excellent restaurant, la Clé des Champs.

As the B&B is out of town you need a car to go anywhere although walking into town is possible along a main road but you know this when booking as it's clear on the map.

Friendly, cheerful, clean and comfortable

The owner was very friendly and helpful, despite the language barrier. The room was a good size, and having access to the kitchen in the evening was great.

The shower wasn't mounted to a rail (not sure if this was intentional or not) and so showering was a little complicated. We had confirmed the availability of a baby cot prior to our arrival, but when we got there it had already been allocated to someone else. Fortunately we had one, but it would have been a problem had that not been the case.

Nice room for the money. Large, free, private parking area.

Host speaks essentially no English. Host wants check-in by 7 P.M. which can can be difficult when traveling in an unknown area. Host accepts cash only. Breakfast somewhat limited.

Pleasant owner, good maintained rooms. Pool with canopy over looked good but didn't try it. Worth a try, good value.

j ai apprécié le fait que la propriétaire le matin prenne son café avec toute la tablée, c est très famille et très simple, mais cela fait du bien

Eenvoudige en lichte kamers, niet ver van Le Crotoy. Goed verwarmd. Hartelijk onthaal. Er is een keuken ter beschikking.

Geen Wifi. Enkel confituur als beleg bij het ontbijt.

L'hôtesse est absolument adorable . Il faut y revenir en été car quand il pleut en hiver c'est un peu triste .

la signalisation de l etablissement car avec votre reservation je pensais reserver une chambre d hotel et pas un e chambre d hote vous pourriez preciser car nous avons perdu ue heure pour retouver cette reservation suie a des appels telephoniques l adresse n etant pas bien indiquee mais apres pas de deception

Facilement accessible, chambre très confortable avec un petit déjeuner, compris dans le prix, copieux ! La propriétaire donne pas mal de renseignements également sur les environs!
