The dinner was outstanding and the staff were first class. Breakfast was also excellent. Prices for beverages and food was high. But as a two star Michelin to be expected. Marc Meneau made a point of introducing himself after the dinner which was a nice touch. Will return at some stage in the future

The dinner was very refined, sophisticated and very worth the high price we paid.The garden was lush and beautiful. De decoration of the hotel was very pleasant and in good taste. The breakfast was not worth the price.

Amoureux de la gastronomie, invités chez des amis dans la Morvan, j'avais envie de découvrir Marc Meneau; nous avons été séduits par la qualité de l'accueil, et surtout par la présence constante de Marc Meneau et de son épouse, à la fois disponibles et discrets.Repas exceptionnel, chambre à l'avenant, sans parler du sommelier, attentif à nos attentes et à notre budget.Du grand art.. J'ai fréquenté ce qui se fait de mieux en la matière, et sûr que nos y retournerons très vite ! Nombre d'amis belges, tous mus par les mêmes critères m'avaient vanté cet établissement; leurs prédictions se sont révélées inexactes, car en dessous de la réalité vécue ce WE...Prix sans surprise, agrémenté par le surclassement de notre chambre. Tout est dit, même si j'imagine que Marc Meneau n'a pas besoin de ce type de commentaire pour poursuivre l'oeuvre qui est la sienne.L'homme est impressionnant...Je n'ai aucun problème pour signer ce commentaire. J'ai adoré le grand jardin avec le moulin et le ruisseau. Nous avons très bien mangé au restaurant de l'hôtel. Parking extérieur super beaucoup de place et sous surveillance. La salle de bain est un peu vetuste pas à la hauteur de la chambre

Dinner van grote klasse Kamer slaat nergens op.te klein om koffer open te maken. Matras had meer weg van een hangmat , jammer na zo een heerlijke maaltijd.

Un merveilleux accueil et une table très agréable. Notre 3ème visite dans cet établissement a été à la hauteur des précédentes, toutefois les chambres du 2ème étage au-dessus du restaurant mériteraient un relooking total.

Food was incredibly expensive/room was tiny with a small bed for 2/there was no elevator and we had to walk up a small,dark staircase .Because we didn't want to spend $70 for 2 on an American style breakfast, we had to check out early and "hunt" for a place more affordable. People generally stay here for the reputation of the chef, however dinner a la carte was about $70 for one person for one entree.The dining room was quite empty with an abundance of staff.............

Gute Lage, traumhafter Garten, schönes Zimmer. Sehr aufmerksame Mitarbeiter in Relay & Chateaux-Qualität. Bitte beachten: das Hotel dient in erster Linie der Übernachtung der Restaurant-Gäste. Das L'Esperance ist ein 3-Sterne- Restaurant (***!!) mit entsprechenden Preisen (Menü 150,- EUR zzgl. Getränke) aber auch entsprechender Qualität. Frühstück ist separat und schlägt mit 28,- EUR p.P. zu Buche. Wer diese Leistungen nicht nutzen möchte, fühlt sich evtl. etwas unwohl.

Excellent cuisine, lovely garden, pleasant and helpful staff Excessively high prices .the standardroom was very small for the price,with a 3/4 rather than double bed, and walls were very thin. Choosing a higher category of room would have doubled the price !

La carte, les plats gastronomiques de M. Meneau l'accueil et les conseils du personnel, la gentillesse du chef de rang qui n'a pas hésité à nous faire visiter les cuisines. Le cadre : calme, cosy, élégant et soigné. La chambre et ses équipements sont l'oins d'être aussi raffinées que les plats, mais il se dégage un charme un peu surrané de la décor des chambres.

We had a truly great room with our own outdoor area at a very reasonable rate. The restaurant was very good but thought that some of the dishes very expensive and there were limited options if you only wanted a light meal. We also thought that the set price meal was not worth the price.

Excellente table. Le restaurant n'a rien à voir avec l'hôtel. Lchambre vétuste et sous-équipée. Sol de salle de bains et carrelage abîmés.Très en-dessous de ce qu'on attend d'un relais et Château.

Qualité de l acceuil. La table Le standing des chambres standard n est pas a la hauteur (salle d eau a rafraichir, pas de clim, bruyant coté route). A noter que l hôtel ne dispose pas d ascenseur.
