Located in Paris’ 10th arrondissement (district) near both Gare de l’Est Train Station (1150 ft) and Gare de Nord Train Station (less than half a mile) train stations, the Jarry Confort is ideally...

This hotel is conveniently placed near Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est train stations. All the soundproofed rooms were refurbished in 2007, and some boast a view of the Eiffel Tower.

Simple triple room.
The hotel has been renovated. Rooms are small, but clean and with bathroom. Have not come to Paris to stay in a room, so I was perfectly satisfied with what the hotel had to offer. The location is fantastic. 6 minutes to Gare del Est, 10 minutes to Gare del Nord, metro stations in between and also the Hop on and off bus stations are only a few hundred meters away. Plenty of excellent restaurants only a few minutes away. Just next to the hotel a very good Indian restaurant, had a great dinner there. 100 meters on the right toward Gare del Est two turkish restaurants, one french and a retail shop where you can buy food and drinks cheap. Then 200 meters forward a lot of restaurants and you just choose which one suits you best. Beer for example is 8-10 eur for 500ml, so it is either you buy in this shop, or use the happy hours in these restaurants from 17 - 20 hours, with beer being 3,5 eur. I also read some reviews stating that the neighborhood is not safe. That did alarm me a little, but when we were there, believe me, this is just a normal place. Nothing to be afraid of.
I stayed 5 nights, and they passed much too fast. If a person is just a little bit tolerant, then even the thin walls of the hotel rooms are not an issue. I dare not think how it is in the summer, as I have not seen any ac. Hotel Internet is expensive, so I only used it in the restaurants, as most of them have it for free.
English speaking reception. Convenient for station.
Poor facilities...was more like a hostel than hotel. Basic, tired room. Small too and quite noisey.
My room had recently been refurbished, walls a little thin to the corridor but at the price very good value for money
Location and clean comfortable bed and friendly staff.
The hotel was under renovation and in our view should have been closed. The hallways were like a demolition site. Our room was tiny with a view to a tenement building only 3 metres from our window (that had no blinds or net curtains) The bathroom was newly renovated but you could not sit on the toilet properly as it was so close to the bath. The only comfortable position would have been side saddle or with your feet in the bath!! (this is not an exageration). The breakfast was the poorest we have ever experienced, they had to go to a bakers to get some criossants for us and some other guests. There was a notice saying that no drinks, alcohol or food was allowed in the bedroom (but you could have your breakfast in your room).
Close to a large selection of supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, hairdressers, hop-on hop-off bus Md train station.
Building was under renovation, Noisy adjoining room , walls are thin so you can easily hear TV and movements. Ensuite is tiny. Breakfasts were too basic.
Breakfast was good with a french *** Hotel. We had a renovated room, clean, small and tidy. Window to the rear, so it was quite quiet.
Neighbourhood is a bit loud and unsafe at nights.
Reception are nice friendly and helpful. Good location especially for people taking Eurostar. A few mins walk to Metro station. Room is nice clean. Good budget price.
Hear next door voice and snoring clearly. Didn't know they have no tea cup or water glass, otherwise I'll bring my own.
Our bedroom was roomy the position was good the staff were friendly not palatial but we got what we paid for and it was comfortable.
No tea or coffee making in the room, there was a crummy coffee machine the made something resembling coffee. that is about my only gripe
Location was a bite scare, but really safe and close to everything! On 5mins walk from the station.
The areal was a bite scary, no hair dry, no safe, no fridge, the room need a lot of interior, need to update the keys and you have to leave the key when you leave the hotel, the front desk guy Poul was really rud not help much at all.
Location, space in the room, clean room except for the blanket
Need key to lock door fm inside, blanket nt quilt, no shower curtain, water splasing onto the floor and toilet seat while showering
This is a great place to stay if like us you are planning on seeing the sights of Paris. It is an easy 20-30minute walk from all major attractions and is less than 5 minutes to gare de nor, est and the metro. The rooms are basic but clean and well presented. The breakfast was a standard continental. The staff are very friendly and speak English well, this is especially great if like me your french is basic! We stayed on Magenta Blvd side and so it was quite noisy with the windows open. This was not a problem for us as we liked the view. If noise is an issue for you then ask for a room away from the road. A wonderful place, won't hesitate to recommend or return.
Very little to complain about really. As I mentioned, if you are sensitive to noise, ask for a room away from the road. The surrounding area is safe and lovely to walk but I would avoid the upper end of Sebastapol near the hotel, it's not the nicest area, especially at night.
I have rather poor sight and found dealing with coins difficult for the vending machines and the reception staff always offered assistance and we're always kind and courteous. The wifi is a bit slow but worked. Room very clean and on the ground floor.
There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel, I hope you go back next year.
This hotel is well located for Metro and restaurants not to mention two major stations. Staff are friendly and helpful. rooms are clean and well appointed for the price bracket.
WiFi should be free these days - it is a basic service needed by all. A kettle and tea/coffee facilities would be nice.
Tub to hard yo get in and out of.
The location is excellent and we enjoyed the breakfast.
Near to station
Traffic sound Very noisy at night
They doesn't have internet, you have to pay but the Wifi doesn't work at your room.
noise during renovation
All the receptionist are helpful. Location
If wifi is free would be perfect.
Room was comfortable with three single beds. Comfortable beds. Close to Gare de L'Est for easy access to metro. Quiet neighborhood for Paris. A great value for us as typically all we do in the hotel is sleep. I would stay here again. Large elevator by Paris standards that stops on every floor made getting our luggage to the room easy.
Bathroom door only opened about 200mm before hitting the toilet. Would have preferred a shower without a bathtub and a door that opened fully to the bathroom. One of us had trouble fitting through the bathroom door. Rooms still under construction meant the hall wasn't pretty. Had to walk further than I expected to find much in the way of restaurants, especially at breakfast.
Noisy street. Annoying renovations ongoing in dark hallways.
Staff deserves 'A' Rooms are very good (the ones refurbished)...near to Metro, train station etc
Internet is not free
Value for money, excellent location, plenty of shops and restaurants around, friendly staff.
Very thin walls so its loud of a night and in the morning.
