Score from 2645 reviews Very good
Close to metro station. Clean
Wifi was not free
Good location, a short walk from the train station. Staff helpful. Good places to eat nearby. I would stay here again.
We were in one of the rooms that hasn't been renovated. The Hotel does need a lick of paint, but I think it is all being renovated.
Our refurbished triple room was very clean and room size is good for 3 persons.Nearest metro station is Gard de Est which is 3 blocks from hotel.Staff was friendly and helpful.
No free wifi.Charges Eur4 for just 2 hours.
The staff is very kind, they are English speaking and very helpful. It locates just few minutes walking to the Gare d' Est, a busy station with bus, train, metro. Easy access to many places and airport. I was given a refrunishment room and everything is brandly new. The bed is very comfortable. It is not noisy as some reviews said. Maybe I am in the 6th floor where most rooms are under refurnishment. I left early in the morning and back around 7pm. No disturbance from the working during night.
The shower room is tiny! A 160cm 45kg girl just could hardly turn around! Water leak out side of the shower room cause you have to leave the door open when showering.
Excellent price Very close to Gare de L'Est and Gare du Nord I would go back, especially after the renovations are finished. Great value for Paris.
Much better to approach the hotel from Gare de L'Est or Gare du Nord. A bit of a seedy area if you approach the hotel from the Chateau d'Eau metro station. No free wifi?
It was close to Gare du Nord and everything one can wish for was there: a clean bath and toilet, a good, but hard bed, a television, etc.
There was a lot of noise from the street, but that's what you get, I suppose, if you go to Paris.
Everything was good.
Hotel is very good placed, it's in between of several subway stations, there's also some markets/cafes/restaurants nearby. Placement. Exact room and it's view (we've got a room for three persons on the last floor). Good bathroom. Enough space for luggage, solid soundproof, elevator and stairs. There also was a waterautomat on reception (2 euros for a bottle), city maps. Managers was polite and friendly. You also can get a bus from hotel to airport on reception, and it's cheaper than rent a cab. I have nothing to say about breakfast - we ate at some cafes around.
You need to pay to get some wi-fi. Cleaning was really awful. I was runing into cleaners on my door every morning. They knock, wait 5 seconds then coming in. Ignored my requests to come later and came on the next day, and all repeats. One day I didn't open the door, they don't bother to check if anybody inside or not, and started cleaning the room with vacuums while i was asleep. Hotel wasn't from the cheapest, so that kind of disrespect was very unexpected.
The room itself was tiny, but comfortable enough and I liked that it was renovated and CLEAN! Seems that the Hotel is very old but is undergoing renovations so I hope the hallways will get a makeover too!
Bathroom especially shower was way too small. I'm only 5 ft. 3 in. and 110 lbs. and had a tight fit showering, especially as the plastic curtain kept sticking to my heels! . . and the outdated hallways are a bit scary. . .
Nice, big room!
location is close to several station but area is not so clean and very crowded...and you have to pay for WiFi!!!!!!
Builders waking us up every morning!
The room was spacious, clean and freshly renovated. The bathroom was fairly big. The location was great, close to two major railway stations.
The hotel was undergoing renovation which would start early in the morning. Wi-Fi was paid and fairly expensive.
The room was very clean and bed was quiet comfortable. There was a TV in room but as it's a hotel there should be international channels, but there was only french ones. Also stuff was very helpful and kind, room was being cleaned everyday and towels changed. Also bath was large enough and very nice. As hotel has been renovated newly rooms are quiet fresh.
I knew that hotel is in renovation before I reserve it, although they said renovation stuff will start there work on 10 am, bit they were starting their job on 8.30 and it bothered me so much when I was sleeping. It was very noisy that when they work you can't even think. Also I knew they will apply charges for internet, they I bought a simvard from airport immediately after passport control, but one day I needed to use internet on my laptop and I bought 2 hours of internet from hotel which was 4€. Although they didn't checked it out for my account, but even the paid internet was very slow and there was a connection loose every 3 or 4 minutes.
It was clean. The staff was very kind. The location is fine, near the metro station and Gare du Nord.
I couldn't get wifi signal in my room after I've paid for it (I ask for the money back). Also the TV signal was very weak in the room and it kept blocking. I asked for someone to check it but they couldn't fix it. Although it's a convenient location, Gare du Nord area has many inmigrants and can be a little dangerous by night.
Very clean. Excellent staff service. English speakers. Coffee vending machine. Excellent room and very comfortable. Room was heated and we could not feel the cold.
Could hear the neighbours door opening and closing.
Have lift , New room (renovate) clean, WiFi no, free, near supermarket , train station , metro about 500 meters
the old guy reception is not nice, and the owner hotel did not responsible what her colleague commitment with us. Have noise from construction in the morning. shower bath too small cannot move easy when stand inside
clean and well located
Light wont lit until you reach the end of a dark corridor! We were on the floor which they are renovating! No sense of comfort once you come in.
Good location, clean room & bathroom, hot water.
very Basic not all conform to Pictures. A lot of young People making noise the whole night.
The location was very good. Near the metro station and the bed was so comfortable.
The room has a smell because it was fresh painted
Clean, good location, friendly staff
I liked the renovated room. The staff were very kind and helpful!! The location is good, near Gare de l'Est; you can easily find buses late at night. For the price I paid, it was great! Ask for a renovated room!!
Paid Internet: 4 euros for 2 hours! No coffee machine or cups in the room; you need to get down to the cafeteria to get hot water.
