Couldn't get free wifi at all and reception didn't know why ??

This residence hotel is a good option for a nice accomodation at a moderate budget. As it is out of the town, it costs much less than a hotel in La Rochelle, and the distance is not a problem if you're by car. We could easily get to La Rochelle and Île-de-Ré by car. Appartment is nice and well-equipped, nice outdoor heated swimming pool, and underground parking is excellent (parking fee required, but it is worth it). Nice and helpful staff.

No wifi in the rooms or swimming pool area, only at the reception desk area - internet cable is available though to access internet in the room. They could put discloths and detergent at the guests' disposal - it is annoying to discover that you have no detergent available after cooking a meal at night...

Its proximity to La Rochelle and facilities available.Reception staff most helpfull with good command of english.Would definatly return

Basic, No hot water, ants in room. Sofa stained, Bedding had cigarette burns in blanket.

The pool, the staff, the spacious grounds.

We would have liked dishwasher powder, cleaning cloths and tea towels in the kitchenette. Buying them for a short stay is inconvenient.

The well furnished apartment was very well equipped and overlooked the pool.it was very clean.the pool was great for my grandson.

We asked for an accessible bathroom but one was not available so my husband was unable to shower.the lift taking us from the underground car park was not working so had a long way to walk to another lift and up some stairs.my daughters roof rack was damaged as the height of the car park in places was lower than stated.

When we arrived at 8pm reception was closed. They stuck key to the room on reception window in an envelope. Everything was closed after 8pm, we went out into town everything was closed, managed to find a pizza place unbelievably. breakfast at MMV starts at 830 am and finishes at 10am, this isnt very good as we needed to be on our way by 8 am .

The apartment was perfect, well presented, lovely bathroom, air con and great balcony which served as an extra dining area. The kitchen equipment all looked new but was missing a kettle so used the coffee maker to make a cuppa! Reception and servicing staff were very helpful and welcoming. Reserved parking was down below so very secure otherwise there was plenty of spaces outside. Only 5 min drive to supermarket and 10 min to free road parking near old port and beach. Good cycle routes from hotel. Would go again.

The peace and quiet in the countryside, yet so close to both Saintes and Cognac where we wanted to visit. The hotel was clean and tidy and lived up to its status as a 3 * establishment. The owner was nice and made us feel welcome.

The grounds could do with a really good gardener as so much more could be made out of them.

The rooms were very clean and the pool area was also well maintaned. We had a lovely meal in the chateau restaurant one night, although it was exceptionally quiet. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very remote, the nearest supermarket is a good 20 / 30 minute walk and La Rochelle can only be reached via car or bicycle, so I would recommend to have either of those forms of transport. It says they have free wifi which is true, however, it is only available in the reception area not in the bedrooms. The bed is probably the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in, and also booking.com says check in is from 1200 but I was told it was 1600 when we arrived, so we had to pay an early check in charge.

After many stays in hotels in France it was great to arrive at a hotel with a kitchen, the place is new and located away from the town of lagord in the countryside, about 6 minutes by car, we enjoyed our stay, we found the bed very comfortable, this is better described as a self contained flat, with the freedom that you can enjoy the location and be away from crowds. We would recommend this to independent minded travelers ,the swimming pool is great, you will enjoy the stay.its very quite.

Friendly reception staff who were very helpful. Situation fitted our budget.

This is a bare bones timeshare location relying on its location next to the Chateau to draw in customers. No money is being spent on making the grounds look welcoming. The outside of the building looks like a prison. A previous guest in our room must have had a dog and the hairs had not been vacumed up.

Two concerns: 1. The mattresses are far too hard 2. Manual (instructions) for use of the air condition missing

L'appartement est spacieux et décoré avec goût.

Les équipements fonctionnaient mal : Lave-vaisselle, avec vaisselle encore sale après ; cafetière fuyait ; lampe d'une des chambres ne fonctionnait plus. Proprété limite.
