We like the hotel and good service
The hotel looks nothing similar from the pictures that made us decide stay in there. Everything was pretty old, the floors where disgusting and there was barely light on the corridors.
Pleasant welcome from receptionist with unusually good English. Great location - central without being noisy.
Unable to check in out of reception hours as machine wasn't working. Had to drag suitcase back to square and fill afternoon as best I could.
It was clean, the shower was hot , the staff very nice,
The room was like a match box, the smallest I've ever stayed in, ok if your only staying one or two nights, and you had to ask very time you wanted to open or close the window, very strange!! There was no lock on the window !! The location is good BUT the main road from the hotel is litterd with dog poo, it's disgusting !!!!!!!
Within easy walking distance of old city. Clean and comfortable-very good size room Quiet at night-didn't have to use my earplugs! Fantastic value.
Price okay. bed comfortable.
Shower leaked, walls so thin heard neighbors going to bathroom. Electrics in room buzzed so loud, if I hadn't been so tired I would not have slept. Overall a bit tired and joyless. Location terrible, didn't find decent part of the city nearby. Felt like a dodgy area. Staff barely said a word, felt like a ghost hotel. Couldn't wait to leave really.
It was soooooo basic. Window didn't open. Very much the poor relation to the twin hotel The Mercure!'
cleanlines and exceptional help from staff to solve my problem.
no one on reception at times no phone in room no fridge
Beds were comfortable. Bunk bed didn't feel claustrophobic.
The windows didn't lock and there was a shared balcony with other rooms, leaving our belongings vulnerable. The croissants were appalling!
Cheap , silent and in the center.
This type of interior gets rapidly worn. Not only the price is cheap.
clean, shower and WC in the room (similar hotels not always have that), close to the city center
Air conditioning TV (also with English channels) Nice shower
Carpet stinked a bit
Free Wi-Fi. Toilet light was broken and was rapidly fixed by staff.
Room in fact completely dark: if you open the curtain, everybody can see you from outside. If you close it, you have to turn up the light. No bathroom: there is a toilet and a small room for the shower but with no space to change your clothes in private. Then, you must have the curtain closed while you are in the room and it is difficult to share the room with other people. You can not open the window. Not enough room for 3 people (scarcily for 2) Any additional service provided, not even a locker or some options to leave your luggage for some hours after check out.
Bed was clean and comfortable.
Never saw anyone behind the front desk the entire time we were there. Horrible seedy location. Dusty faded plastic plants surround the breakfast area. No side table by bedside.
Staff spoke good English and were keen to help. Clean room but the window was locked shut. Quiet lift . Decent breakfast with no fuss
Loo broke down in the room. The access number to the room and front door kept changing which meant I could not gain access to the building or once inside to the room either. Window was locked by a special key.
The room had air conditioning and kept at a comfortable temperature to sleep. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely and good value, lots of healthy fruit and French breads, unlimited coffee and tea!
I would have liked a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea.
Cheap, efficient, central. Bed, shower etc. all top quality. Excellent wifi connection. All the staff were polite and helpful.
It is cheap and situated in the center. The bakery opposite sells good fresh pastry.
The hotel was soul less and both the communal areas and the bedrooms were grubby. In fact one of the bedrooms we booked smelled of stale cigarette smoke and we had to request a move to another bedroom ( the staff were very accommodating in this ). The lift had dirty floors and also had old chewing gum stuck to it.
The staff were so unfriendly and have no feeling of duty about their hotel guests. The reception was nearly always empty, because one people should manage two hotel at the same time!!!! not recommended!
Price, reception staff, bed, aircon, free car park
Hostel-like accommodation, very basic, the area looks rough
Helpfull staff clean basic room
Coridoor very bad smell of sick leading to our room nearly vomited ourself from the smell
Very dirty, the machine for auto checkin dont work
Clean and good location
Breakfast was all sugary foods
Great value for money, excellent location and very clean!
