The hotel was clean light and airy. Receptionists spoke perfect English and were very helpful

The loo, and shower were in 2 separate cubicles, the wash basin was in the bedroom.

Not far from central Bordeaux across the river, clean modern-type city hotel, with minimum facilities but so convenient, & excellent value

A typical small room for this type of hotel, with tiny toilet, plastic shower cabinet & tiniest sink I've ever seen

Great cost-benefit relationship. The hotel is very close to the city centre. Rooms are very clean, staff is OK. Good breakfast (not included). Small but comfy room. Worth the value.

Weak wi-fi signal inside the bedroom. Water temperature (shower) varies each 20 seconds. The latter was a minor problem because it was summertime, but during winter I guess it's not nice to have warm water then in some seconds a radical change to cold water. TV inside the bedroom could include non-French spoken channels.

Location and service, the staff was excellent and helpful.

The room was not comfortable especially the bed for older children.

    location, cleanness, hotel design, WiFi

they charged the tax for two person however I am a solo traveler, which I think should be a mistake. The rooms facing the high street would be quite noisy.

The hotel staff were very helpful and tried best to accommodate the miss booking. Because they were booked out they found us alternative accommodation in IBIS budget at the Gare where we stayed for the period and extended period.

When booking the hotel through the website pushed the entered dates one month forward rather than showing the requested month June so I ended up booking the 18th of July. I arrived on the 18th June and discovered the error at the hotel reception. So I had to pay for the rooms again. On contacting said there was no refund on the miss booking. Added to this was the fact that the French Air traffic controllers went on strike on out departure date Wednesday 25th and the only available flight was the following Sunday so an additional 4 nights were spent in IBIS yet they still refused to refund us for the miss booking on 18 July. Very disappointed in both and IBIS considering the amount of money paid. The holiday was to celebrate my 60th birthday, perhaps my eyesight is going.

Just what we needed. 10-15 min (nice) walk over a beautiful bridge to the centre of bordeaux; the hotel have us a map of the place so it's really easy to navigate. Just head for Pont Pierre from la Gare and when you're over turn left and its on the same road as the cinema (MEGARAMA). Right next to a carrefour and a subway, should you feel the need for a cheap late night snack, but there are so many restaurants in bordeaux centre any way! Great price - if all you want is a bed then £30 for a night is pretty darn good if you compare it to other places only 5 mins walk away. Nice area - not rough or anything. We were there during the 14 Juillet celebrations and we were so knackered we didn't want to watch the fireworks from the bridge - instead we had a perfect view from the hotel room! C'etait parfait! I'd recommend to all!

Location excellent for walking to the city centre, so if you are on a tight budget it's a good option. For us it was also an excellent overnight stay prior to a flight from Bordeaux. Tram stop is near and this is the cheapest option for getting to the airport.

I would not advise the tram and bus to the airport if you need to go at rush hour, especially if you have luggage. The bus is extremely crowded and uncomfortable.

Good hotel, simple and adequate. With all we need, also has a supermarket just behind it! Impressed by the simple design! Very ideal for a budget hotel!

    Was well located.

Stained sheets, overall shaby and unkept. Was a really expensive Ibis budget and general conditions were well below what we usually experience in other ibis budgets.

Lovely walk across the river to the centre of Bordeaux (15-20 minute walk). Staff were helpful and the hotel was clean. Subway and supermarket next to the hotel so it was easy to grab food plus the hotel has a microwave to heat up your food.

It is a buget hotel. Just and only what you need - bed, table, hanger, TV, toilet and shower. Clean and nice and perfect value for money. And there is supermarket just downstairs.

It is not in the city centre. You will have to cross the river. But its cca 10-15 min walk. Be aware there are very limited options to eat in the area. (There is subway and some other fast food downstairs)

Being informed on website that airport shuttle was available, then being told shuttle departs from main train station which was a long walk to the tram, a change and then another tram to the station. Room had not been cleaned very well.

Location. Comfortable bunk bed. Complimentary coffee on the last day of our trip. You get %20 off at restaurant down the street when you show your invoice from the hotel. Reception can store your luggage if needed.

The toilet smelled of urine as soon as we walked it. The bathroom smelled of dead rat too. The room size is as small as an interior cabin on a cruise ship w/o the luxury . Room not big enough for 3 ppl. The wifi is weak but good enough to check Facebook . The housekeeper did not clean our room the first night. She came very early in the morning, we were still asleep so she left and never came back.air condition is broken, had to sleep with the window open during our stay as a result I catch a bad cold.this hotel is good for young travelers who only need somewhere to crash at night. To be honest if my goal is to be outdoors and just need somewhere to store my luggage I would stay there again because of the location.

    Good location and clean

I was charged €20 for a pillow we were told we had taken from our room. Although when we checked into the room there were only 2 pillows not 3. The cleaner obviously had either forgotten to provide the room with enough pillows or the previous guests had taken it. In fact one of us had to use the duvet as a pillow as she didn't have one and the reception was closed when we came back from dinner. I. I contested this charge via email but was td that we had taken the pillow. Absolutely disgusted and outraged about this and even if we had if taken the flat poor quality pillow, the are not worth €20. I will be advising all my friends and family never to stay with the ibis budget again and very disssppointed.
