A full English would have been great
Breakfast on offer.was not to my liking.
It had a bed for each of us and a bathroom. I could get from reception to room easily.
When we arrived 3 steps to front door then 6 down to reception. I use a wheelchair, I can thankfully manage a couple of steps, but was exhausted and needed help to do. Then I noticed lift. Asked reception how you got into lift, through the car park. Weren't told about that. Couldn't get out through car park as reception was closed when we went to dinner. Had to go through hotel at other end of block, only 4 steps. How can it be said suitable for disabled. Breakfast was incredibly expensive for what it is.
location Very secure parking cheap
dusty room couldn't sleep due to allergies / perhaps damp?
Everything, especially the very secure parking which was free. Would highly recommend as it is within walking distance of all major sights.
Check in via the Mercure next door if it's after 8 pm. Watch you don't go to the wrong Ibis, very common mistake. If you're travelling on a tight budget, this is a good basic overnight option. At least you have bathroom facilities in your room, though they are basic.
Very thin mattress and flat pillow, so if that affects you, your sleep may suffer. The shower head can't sit in a useful position so you have to hold it to shower. You have to know your room mates very well as other than the toilet, nothing else is private!
Location was great and within walking distance of major attractions. Parking was an asset Staff at the Mercure next door was very helpful upon our arrival
Wifi was very slow with poor reception in the room.
Going through Mercure Hotel.
handy for town
noisy lift shaft noisy fans outside poor beds & pillows noisy fans in shower & toilet no staff on after 2100hrs arrived at 1300hrs to find the place all locked up after a few phone calls we had to book in at the Mercure hotel to find our room because the Ibis staff are not there between 1100hrs---1700hrs staff was back on site from 1700hrs---2100hrs could not change room as there was no staff to talk to after 2100hrs This will be the last time i will book into an Ibis budget hotel the booking company should have informed us of these booking in problems
Room was fine and third bed above main double was ideal for our daughter.
Part-time reception staff, so had to check-in at Mercure next door - this led to being charged twice for stay, but soon resolved by excellent Booking.com Customer Service staff!
secure parking close to town centre
very basic but adequate
The fact that we got to the hotel late and were easily able to check in and breakfast is correct.
Shower is really dated, toilet really noisy. Because we got there late we had to checkin in the sisters hotel and go through their car park to have access to ours and there was no lighting.
Staff not particularly friendly
room size good and easy to find
VERY limited parking - had to park on street or risk getting blocked in or blocking someone else in!
The location was so close to everywhere we wanted to go to on foot. The room was totally adequate for our needs.
The room key had to be replaced numerous times - this required a lot of up and downing and to and froing when we were very tired.
Staff were excellent location cathedral on the door step and old town car park with hotel very secure
Asked for a quiet room, we got one with great city views. Duty Staff were efficient and helpful, Cleaning staff were eager to ensure we were comfortable and helped when a key didn't work. The Shower, bathroom was sparkling. Beds were clean and comfortable. will stay again.
Location was idea
rooms rather small in need of a update
Free secure parking .cheap price.very basic room but perfect for overnight enroute to holiday further south in France. N.b parking is behind hotel.
Having to go to mercure hotel (next door) to get code to get into reception to check in!
Very pleasant and courteous staff. Good value breakfast, especially with 3 hungry teenagers. Easy walk into city centre. Clean bedding. Secure parking shared with adjacent hotel.
Our rooms were well cleaned, but the interiors of the rooms and corridors were tired and worn and in need of refurbishment. Large stains on carpet and odour of previous smokers! Will benefit from an Ibis refurbishment which is definitely due.
nice rooms, safe parking
we didnt see the staff at all. We must check in in another hotel, they work just in the afternoon.
Clean cheap and right in the Center
Good parking and perfect with dog
Cheap, secure parking for our motorcycles, very reasonable
Difficult to find; if you have to cancel they do not return your money - luckily we were able to reinstate our booking;
Dirty carpet and broken shower
We did not stay and booked into the Mercure next door.
We arrived at 4.30ish and there was mountains of very dirty laundry littering the corridors. The room was neatly made up yet very very grubby. The whole place felt dirty, dingy and dare I say...unsafe. Admittingly so...didn't look at the price and thought we had booked into the normal ibis in the center!
