We arrived by metro to the area at 12 midnight and there was no proper pavements or roads as they were being worked on, nor could we find the hotel. We were absolutely terrified as when we eventually found someone who pointed us in the right direction we had to walk by a habitual gathering of drug addicts openly injecting and snorting crack cocaine. The street lighting was very poor but none the less we stud out like sore thumbs with our travel cases and felt very threatened. These people gather here every day and night and it was quite intimidating. The location of the hotel was very much like a no-go area. The only way to get to the metro from the hotel was by walking by a green hill area where the junkies seem to sleep & party. There is a terrible vulnerability about this as one would feel if they were attacked no one would come to the rescue as it's so isolated. The hotel was good value for money although the staff were very unfriendly. I would not recommend the hotel as its situated in a dangerous location.

Your pricese are moderate especially for breakfast. We really enjoy the breakfast and service. Your staff are wonderful and polite. For sure we will always come back although you need improvements in some areas but generally we enjoyed our stay. I was there for two nights and the second and morning there was no hot water for shower. A notice was placed in lift for that but they would taken extra measures to get that fixed immediately. Secondly, you should think of putting phones in the rooms even if it means extra little charge for the facility.

The price for triple is quite good although it is weekend but not good for the single room since they have the same price. The staff at the reception and security are not very friendly. 10 minutes walk to the nearest (the last stop for number 12) metro station. The area is not very good.

Close to metro station, easy access from motorway, underground car park. I was expecting more good value for money. Buffet breakfast is just continental served buffet style so dont expect proper english one and the price is added on top. Dirty outside

I was pleased with the possibility of a smokers room, which you don't see that often anymore. Wifi works well too. Sanitary facilities are clean and proper. Cheap parking Our room couldn't be ventilated, the window was tampered with. This is a huge downpoint.. Especially because the rooms are quite warm already without using the heat. The streets around the hotel are indeed filled with dubious people.

Room was small, but clean and reasonably comfortable. Shower is good The location is quite poor, have to pass under a couple of highway underpasses to get there, and the area feels quite unsafe. Breakfast (5 euros) is not very good.

It didn't cost too much. Compared to Travelodge, Etap works out a little more expensive, yet without tea or coffee in the rooms. Also, at Travelodge, children can eat breakfast for free, which is a huge bonus on a small budget.

Price is good. Not far away from central paris wireless works perfect Staff is so unaware of you. Be aware of black woman at reception. She can demoralize you by speaking french into your face despite of knowing that you cant speak french. And she never smiles to your face. Its like she is paying you for staying. Ignore her if you can ! room is not enough for 3 people even two is much for that place you cant open the window. Its stucked. You cant adjust climate control. Because it is central system. Toilet is like cabin. No window, nothing you cant lock shower door. Because it hasnt any locker on it breakfast is so poor and cost 4.90 but bread is great.

It is, as are most etaps, a convenient cheap, clean and good value for money hotel. In the absence of air con, which some Etaps do have, the inability to open the the second double glazing window without a special key meant the room was too warm and stifling. However after opening it with a car key, we were able to reduce the temperature but at the expence of the noise of the Periphique below. Rather that than suffer heat exhaustion. This trip was late October. It must be unbearable in the summer. Also the area outside had the homeless of Paris as close neighbours and was run down. This left you feeling like you had to keep watching over your shoulder whilst walking to the Metro. Parking was 15 euros per day. Safe but not free as in other Etaps around France Spain and UK.

Clean rooms for a good price. While it's clearly nothing luxurious, it works well for the traveler who wants a clean, comfortable bed, a shower, a bathroom and a door that locks. It was also very close to a metro station (Porte de la Chapelle) which partially made up for its distance from the city center. It is a little bit far from the city center, which would get irritating if you were there as a tourist. I was taking an exam nearby, so this was no issue for me though.

We only stayed there during night....We were in Town all day long. Very unpleasant receptionist (female) was there when we arrived. Morning shift on 09.09. But very!!!! The others vere ok. We had only 2 towels in 3beded room, and the third bed I had to made myself. (I told that I am coming with 2 children). The hotel was near metro, but not even close to Sacre Coeure like the adresse suggested.... But I still think it was good value for money. 30 minutes from cdg airport by taxi....60 Euro per night for three...It vas only the place to spend the night.

We stayed two nights at the hotel. The room is basic but we slept well. Good bed and clean shower. The breakfast is fine, internet is free. We found the staff unfriendly. The lady at the reception was just doing her job. We did not feel welcome. Other than that, the hotel is fine for a weekend trip to Paris, metro is close but the area is rual. The way to the metro station leads you along traffic and drugdealers. It's a good hotel for the price you pay. The lady at the reception was unfriendly.

New building, clean room, very good buffet breakfast, friendly english-speaking staff When the reconstruction of the hotel area is over (see below), the location will be good The room is "budget". All facilities are located in a different "sites" and tube door in the room. Hotel location in very poor: in fact it is located at the north border of Paris + permanent reconstructions in the hotel area. In fact metro station can be reached by foot in 7 - 9 min. Due to Paris metro staircases you are able to reach the hotel with luggage by car (private/taxi) only

Very convenient as cost is low even for double or triple occupancy. Baggagerie available and staff very courteous. Toilets are a bit too small for double occupancy room. Breakfast is very ordinary but worth the amount being charged.
