Parking was very expensive even for a motorcycle

I didnt like the fact that the name etap hotel is not displayed anywere on the building, the hotel was actually the ibis budget hotel.the only place the name etap appeared was on the floor in reception. because of this we drove around for two hours trying to locate it.

Value for money; breakfast was good, free wi-fi, clean sheets every night etc. close to metro which went direct to centre of Paris.

Very poor surroundings; to get to the metro we had to walk across and through some very rough and intimidating places. Parking was too expensive.

Clean and facilities!

Location! Its really bad! The area around the hotel and the line 12 (Metro) is really dangerous! Everyday was an odyssey to go out and go back to the hotel! The staff is rude and unfriendly!

Rooms are neat and clean. Very closure to the important places to visit in Paris. Good budget hotel.

No lock for toilets.That can be considered.

this was an average hotel, did the job but was nothing special. its not to far from the metro which was handy.

After reading the reviews I was very apprehensive walking from metro to hotel but we had absolutely no problem even returning at midnight. The hotel was spotlessly clean, very quiet, heating control, hot shower, free wifi, free luggage storage.

It was not the best location on the metro to get to and from city and airport as no direct trains. Staff were not particularly friendly. Breakfast not included in price of accommodation. Limited storage space in room ie few hangers no wardrobe

I feel not secure when walking at night to go back to the hotel from Metro

They double charge. I was charge on my credit card and they charge my friends when they checked in. This cause so much inconvenience to me because my credit card is supposed to be a guarantee but why the bank charge me and the staff of the hotel ask my friends to pay also. Im very disappointed for the hustle it will cause me for the refund.

Feel scared to reach from "Port de la Chapelle" Metro station to Hotel as there were no one roaming and No proper pavements to reach the Hotel... Moreover Night time it is really tough to reach Hotel

The guy at the reception was very nice and helpful. Even if the hotel is at the beginning of Paris it is very close to the station. For people like us who love the night walks, there is a night bus running from the centre of Paris. Take the one towards Gare de L'est and from there to Port de la Chapelle.

They did not let us know that there will be a charge for the parking.

the service in Etap Hotel is the worst service I have ever experienced. the receptionists are not at all friendly. they treat their guests with no human dignity. this Hotel must be removed from the booking.com.

Price is good, Internet is fair.

The elevator was out of order for 2 or 3 days, some staff on reception doesn't speak English :)

Having not been to Paris before I was a little shocked about location, later I found out that Parisians refer this as the hole of Paris. They were doing maintenance work which I understand has to be done but from 11 till 8pm was a long time I popped out during day only to return at 7 to get a quick nap before heading out and the really loud drilling was still going on, the staff didn't seem to care about the needs of the guests, and didn't say when it would finish and that they couldn't do anything about. Some guests were complaining and staff said what can I do about it. Honestly I can safely say I won't be returning here. You put do not disturb on door, then they knock and come in???? You have to pay up front which is annoying especially if plans change or your sick of the noise, so I had to lose out. As I left early due to the noise and lack of care

Excellent Value for Money

Basic but good value for money. Room rate includes free Wifi.

The only restaurant nearby is closed on Sundays, so prepare to walk around a not so pleasant neighborhood to get dinner.

It was clean and modern and they respected my request for a quiet room (on the 9th floor). It's fairly close to Port de la Chappelle Metro.

The location is at the point where a couple of motorways meet and is set next to grim flyovers. This attracted a dubious element of alcoholics and from my room, I could see a shanty town set up by homeless people on the motorway embankment. Walking back to the hotel didn't feel safe and as a pedestrian, you had to cross a busy road with cars zooming onto the motorway.

hotel staff was least worried about the customers, if u r arriving half an hr before checkin time u have to wait in the reception waiting without chairs if all the chairs are occupied.. they wont take any effort to get a an additional chair for u...
