The overall convenience and affordability of the place
Very limited amount of shower gel for starters ( though you can ask for a refill)
-the staff is very nice - close to downtown - private parking for 2 euros
Friendly welcome, secure storage for cycles, even supplied bucket and cloth for bike cleaning. Good position with easy stroll to bars, restaurants and shops.
Close to town, easy walk, good parking, easy to find, great staff, all in all a good short stay hotel but you may want to go upmarket for a longer stay, we spent 2 nites and it was fine for the money. Staff were great I had some urgent paperwork couriered to the hotel ahead of our arrival and it was waiting at the desk for me, hassle free!!
Toilet was really poky and I mean small! Area was a bit shady for girls coming home at nite but that was just appearance, never saw any trouble
Good vaue, not too far from train station, close to downtown. Modern and very clean, breakfast good value.
Surroundings not fantastic, but not a problem. A short walk to the nicer parts.
Comfortable bed, great parking facilities (for a 2 euro charge it's worth it!) Walkable location to the port and all the necessities. The staff we encountered at the front desk were the stand out here - really helpful and friendly and took the time to make sure you were comfortable and settled. We really appreciated their tips on restaurants and where to go for the beach!
Good secure parking.Short walk to tourist area. Had everything we needed.
Unattractive surroundings between tanker storage and building site. Rooms a bit dated although functional.
The staff were very friendly and helpful despite being busy multitasking. The continental breakfast was good.
The location was next door to huge storage vats and the shipping port. The air-conditioning hardly cooled the room. The hand basin drain smelled, the cupboard sized toilet and bathroom were showing their age.
in these rooms you get depressive, bunk bed in the triple room, shower was just a cabin in the wall of the room
Location: Close to town centre plus only one street back from canal. Value for money: Typical ibis, clean accomodation at reasonable price.
Location & staff
Great location. Just a few mins walk into the main streets. Good secure parking. Good continental breakfast. Friendly staff.
It's very basic. Shower door doesn't close so water seeps out. Small bed. 2 towels, no face one. View at the back not the prettiest.
Helpful personnel...Carrefour out the door and turn right......keep walking and just after Polyclinique St Therese, on opp. side of street, you will find a lovely café. (no sign overhead) Go through the Cafe and out through the front door and you can enjoy your lunch al fresco overlooking the water.
Somewhat removed from main part of town. Weather clammy, couldn't open window due to noise from street, requested A/C didn't get it. Difficult to get a taxi and when it does come you will be charged a 'call-out' fee. ( I was sharing a taxi with others and driver wanted €10 from me for trip to train station-€11 on meter when we left hotel €14 at station!)
Kindness of staff Place in town
The town Barhroom (the sink was outside the bathroom and in the room)
Good location - just 10 min. walk from the city centre Friendly personnel, free wi-fi, secure car parking
Very narrow beds (smaller than in other Ibis Budget hotels)
The fact that it was in Sete.
The fact that it was located right next to some very smelly and ugly industry. The fact that the room did not come with any shampoo or hand cream. The bedspread was extremely warm, too warm to sleep with.
Town centre location
Building site next door Chemical plant next door
Great value in a brilliant location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Plus a big breakfast!!
Room was supposed to be non-smoking but there'd definitely been a smoker in there.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and although one bed was bunk style above the double it was fine as there was a ladder and also plenty of floor space.
The shower cubicle is quite small but manageable.
Stuff is really helpful. Parking is free and comfortable (right in the hotel's back-yard). No real problems with furniture or comfort or cleaning.
1) Breakfast is a little bit poor. Nothing that can be eaten by a child of 2,5 years. 2) Big traffic and quite a long walking distance (15-20 minutes) to the city centre. But it's not a real problem if you travel with no kids.
