Decoration is very nice!
I just simply don't understand how this hotel is rated at 8.2 points. I am not a harsh reviewer but I just couldn't like the hotel! We arrived at around 8:30pm at night as we have informed the hotel, and the reception told us that our room was not ready yet! I can understand if a room is not ready at 2 or 3pm, but 8pm? The room was normal with a not very pleasant view facing the noisy road. The whole bathroom was flooded while taking shower. The most annoying bit was the smell of public toilet over the room, we could even smell it in bed over night.
The vicinity of the hotel to cafes abd restaurants
The size of the room It was much smaller than any room I have ever stayed in.
The room was really nicely furnished. Newly upgraded. The shower and toilet facilities were great! The room was quiet and peaceful. We each had a bathrobe and slippers supplied, and the quality of towels and sheets were above average. Definitely a positive experience! :)
Superb location, metro station just a few minutes walk. Also easy to walk everywhere central Paris from the hotel. Hotel has a great character and ambiance.
The walls seem very thin to the point of hearing a person next door using a bathroom! Would like to see breakfast included in the rate we paid.
Atmosphere, personnel, clean and convenient rooms, location
Price during exhibitions (sial) are very high. Breakfast could be better concerning staples and cooking
Liked the location, style and cleanliness.
Small room, no bar fridge.
Chocolate croissants in the lobby every morning
employees are very good,very helpful
no aircondition and room is too small
Location was good and a decent size superior room although we asked to be moved to another room as the standard double bed was small and hard.
The standard double bed was too small hard & had a queen size Donna on it which didn't fit the bed.The beds in the twin room was much more comfortable.Free coffee maker wasn't working.Would expect a bit more from a boutique Hotel.
Please make sure about payment method. I travel abroad often and the 1st time that a hotel refuse to take Dinersclub credit card. I find this frustrating and they should communicate this clearly beforehand. Also make sure which room you book. A standard room with no view is really not nice. I do not mind small, In Paris you know rooms are small, but to look at a inner yard with no natural light or fresh air, is quite dissapointing. Especially if you pay 260 euro per night!
Location & staff is very helpfull
A bit more closet space
The coffee machine. The shower.
very young staff not very knowledgeable.Room very very small, smaller that my lounge room There was no mini fridge in the room.
Friendly helpful staff Cleanliness & attention to detail Ensuring we got breakfast @ 0630hrs when we needed to leave early for an excursion!
No tea/coffee facilities in the room -couldn't even order room service coffee as told 'there is no coffee'. Hot water for tea came from a microwave, 1 teapot not enough for 2 cups so needed another pot of water.....then discovered that 2nd pot contained hot milk.....whole process was very painful! Needing 2 keycard changes as card defective Having a flimsy curtain instead of folding doors to screen off the shower....good job I was sharing with a very good friend or it could've been very embarrassing!
- Friendly staff - Clean rooms - Good breakfast - Pretty good location (metro nearby) - Good value for money
- Hard matrasses - When driving by car, situated in an area with complicated one-way streets (complicated above average in Paris) - Top floor (6th) not accessible via elevator (could be a problem for some guests) - Parking for car at some walking distance from hotel and bigger cars will have trouble to get to -6
The location was great, staff went out of their way to be helpful, room was of a good size for Paris, and styled excellently. Really clean and modern, bathroom was fab (although separated from the bedroom by just a curtain, so be warned if travelling with a friend rather than a partner!) and bed was really comfortable. Can't recommend this place highly enough, we had a great time and would definitely return.
Extremely clean rooms Innovative use of very small space Breakfast
Good hotel, in the middle blvd. Montmartre and Opera. Montholon district . Good design. Хороший отель, в средней бул. Монмартр и Опера. Montholon район. Хороший дизайн. Wi-fi-super.
House keeping made only bed, did not vacuum in the room 7 days. !!Dust.!!! Not have refrigerator in the room. Служба уборки сделал только кровать, не пылесосить в комнате 7 дней. !! Пыли. !!! Нет холодильника в номере.
Excellent staff, very helpful and forthcoming.Hotel rooms were of a reasonable size and kept clean. Hotel location, excellent close to Metro, Cafe's, Supermarket a Fitness center a Pub next door and for the Woman Galleries Lafayette a short walk down Rue La Fayette. I would highly recommend Hotel Eugene en ville.
We loved the free wifi, the locality to shops, restaurants, bars etc. We walked everywhere from here. Great breakfast room, gorgeous décor & really really great sized bedrooms for Paris!
-We booked the 25 sq m room and really appreciated the spacious layout as we were travelling with a 10mth old baby. The coffee table and armchairs were separated from the bed and on those days, we dined in, we were able to do this without disturbing our sleeping baby and the food smell doesn't travel to the other side. -It is surrounded by lots of eateries but yet is quiet enough for a good night sleep. -It is within walking distance to 3 metro stations serving different lines. - breakfast was generally sufficient except days when I saw there were a few overtly hungry guests taking 4 eggs at one go. - we would choose this hotel again after stayed in more than 10 hotels in Paris.
-Would have preferred a kettle in the room though hot water is available 24-7. - the front desk team was very friendly though the quality of advice you get can be patchy.
Great location Comfortable,clean room
Poor breakfast Little room
Design Stuff very polite Very clean (very very clean!!!) Comfortable / Anatomic bed mattress Overall the hotel is very chic and the stuff very friendly and ready to answer all you questions. Location is the best, since you are 10 minutes from Opera.
