The Europ hotel was well situated, the staff were all very helpful and the bed was comfortable (much better than my usual experience in French hotels!). There was very little to dislike. |

The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The garaging was convenient. The breakfast was excellent. No lift so carrying cases up the stairs was a problem |

The swimming pool was well appriciated. The hotel manager was very helpful as we changed our original arrivaal date on the day we arrived. The thin walls. Could here everything in adjoining room!! |

Aboslutely nothing except the feeling of relief after I'd checked out There is nothing positive to be said about this hotel whatsoever. It is outdated, the bathrooms have not been re-fitted since the early 70s, the rooms are cramped and stuffy. Best of all is the owner and his wife who make Basil and Sybil Fawlty look like first prize winners at the hotel of the year awards. |

Quiet area of town but very close to central area & railway station. Garden was extremely pleasant & overall was good value for money. We'd go back again if visiting the area. I'm glad we paid the extra for air conditioning as it was 30 degrees + during our stay............. |

Well positioned in Bergerac, nice room with windows which we left open as on 2nd floor and it was warm.Lovely clean pool area too.Staff very pleasant and helpfull. Will use again if going to Bergerac No lift for heavy bags but I probably needed the excercise. |

The swimming pool. The staff on duty at breakfast were very friendly and attentive, even bringing extra croissants for our 13 year old without being asked! Within easy walking distance of the town whilst being in a very quiet area. The member of staff on duty in the evening did not seem to enjoy serving drinks to guests. Even though we were waiting to be served, he found other things to do which could have been done afterwards. Perhaps he hoped we would go away?!! This happened with other guests as well causing a few raised eyebrows between us! I did try to engage him in conversation and he seemed like a nice man with many years service at the hotel. Maybe he has had bad experiences serving drinks in the past to guests who have not behaved very well? |

the rooms were ok, very bright. I liked the windows not having curtains and just a french shutter. The location was great with only a few minute walk into Bergerac centre which was lovely. The pool area was also lovely. I cannot comment on the breakfast as we didnt eat there. The sound proofing was diabolical. My partners daughter and her friend were sleeping on one side of us and we heard everything they said. But we were unfortunately kept awake for much of the night by 2 men who were staying next door with their very loud lovemaking......the walls were so thin however you could hear when they were simply breathing loud. Not having a lift and being on the second floor with heavy suitcases became the least of our worries. |
