There was a really quirky atmosphere in the foyer with its extraordinary collection of bric-a-brac which brought smiles. The room was very modern looking and comfy but quite small. Very good buffet breakfast. Check out the orange juice machine.....

well renovated room on the first floor, internet worked everywhere, right in the pedestrian area of the town so perfect for restaurants. Nearby carpark is very clean and secure, but you better research how to park and walk before hand. The walk is short and the hotel is worth it.

the bar seating ..yuk.it really needs changing, but the bar itself is ok and prices sensible.

The room was a lovely size, plenty of space, light and airy and a very large Sony TV. I believe all the rooms were decorated individually. The foyer was also spectacular with authentic decoration and foliage

Was a little noisey at night with some street noise coming through, and the noise of people on the stairs

I liked everything about the hotel, from its excellent location, its fabulous decor, its friendly helpful staff, and its very reasonable prices.

The absence of a lift may make it difficult for elderly guests on the top floor, but as I requested (and was allocated) a room on the first floor that did not present a problem for me personally.

Staff were incredibly friendly, the hotel was a renovated old builing fitted to a really high standard. It is right in the centre of the town.

No lift (that I was aware of) not that the stairs were a problem to me.

The hotel was great, I was over With friends at rugby game. Location central, staff 100%. Town great shops, bars and good restraunts. Would stay here again without a thought.

The interior design is very impressive, much better than chain hotels. Bathroom was sparkle.

Hotel doesn't have it's own car park, cloesest public car park needs 5 mins walk, but only cost 3 euros for the night.

Excellent value for money. Lovely new bathroom with spa bath and towels replaced every day. King size bed. Great choice of food for breakfast. Very helpful staff. Minutes from main square where there was very popular Christmas market.

Perhaps more hanging space/storage for clothes.

Car parking was some way away and the hotel was quite difficult to find

The hotel was in the hesrt of the city. Getting a car outside was possible, but not too easy. Hotel provided pass for nearby parking garage. Hotel was quirky but comfortable.

The decor of the hotel is unique-18 century style. The room was spacious and very comfortable, large bed, big table, sofa and ornamented chest. Modern bathroom. Since the hotel is in the city center, where parking is not available, the hotel provides parking in a close public lot.

Everything, it was warm, friendly, inviting and very atmospheric. The decor was perfect and I really enjoyed my stay. I wish it could have been longer.

The only problem was the parking availability. Valet parking is available but not in the evenings when people go out.

Very friendly good location, no parking next to hotel but very good deal with a car park a few minutes walk away. Good breakfast and hotel is not just a formula hotel lots of character and close to lots of restaurants

The interior design of the hotel was very interesting. An eclectic collection of interesting objects and furniture gave a retro look to the rooms and public areas. The bar was a great place for a nightcap. You couldn't get a better location for shopping or sightseeing. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

There was no lift. It wasn't a problem for us as we were on the first floor.

The individual syle of the rooms and the other hotel areas. Our room was very comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities - not often found in French hotels. The towels were thick and fluffy. The breakfast was excellent with a very wide choice and we were offered a second cup of hot chocolate. The manager and the other staff were friendly and helpful.

Old historical building with a brilliant en suite bath and shower with marble decor, close to main square, would definately recommend a stay.

Central location and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Parking for only 3 Euros a night a few minutes walk from the hotel. Unfortunately the first room we were given smelled extremely of cigarette smoke, the second room offered was ok but didn't have Aircon. The third room seemed ok to start with but there was a bit of cigarette smell from the bed linen in an otherwise impeccably presented room- shame really!

Philippe, the manager, is very friendly and helpful. All the staff is very friendly as well The hotel is in the middle of the old Castres in a very convenient location The breakfast is good value for money and I loved the orange juice maker.

I wished they multiple electrical adapter had been longer. It was a bit of a struggle to connect the TV and the AC units at the same time as they were too far apart for the adapter cable.
