Excellent location and friendly staff
They allow pets and that's great, but obviously carpet floor and pets are not compatible for the hotel.
Decent size room, large bed, helpful staff. A minutes walk from all the main restaurants.
Parking was a problem. Hotel decor in need of a bit of TLC.
The hotel is well positioned a short walk from centre of Rheims. The bed was comfortable, although the room small, it was at the back on the 3rd floor so although no air conditioning it was fine to leave window open, quiet for a location so near city centre.
The hotel is shabby and needs a refurb. The corridor smelt of smoke although the room was ok in this respect. We were unsure about the general cleanliness when we found a large black slug on the bathroom ceiling. The hotel said we were looking at a hole in the ceiling, either way it wasn't good.
Car parking was very cramped and expensive. No tea & coffee facility in room.
Hotel is in the centre of Reims, walking distance to many places of interest
Lifts and stairwells need to be replaced / cleaned
Non helpful staff. Dirty. Almost all of the furniture was broken in one way or another.
Very friendly staff Conveniently located
The room was not well maintained, the window frame in our bathroom was rotting I have an appreciation for older hotels, but this hotel seemed musty Our room was not as clean as I would've liked
Location Private car park Staff were all ok Good size bed and clean. Breakfast generally ok
Aircon faulty first stay Shower broke 2nd stay Fridge not working 2nd stay Bathroom tiles needed re-grouting Outside window view really run down Corridors dark and narrow
We liked the location and the fact that it had a locked carpark (at a price). We liked the possibility of having a spa in case of disappointing weather. We had great weather so we spent a lot of time outside. We were just 50m from the busy centre. Great. My little dog however was the only creature liking the well air conditioned room 106 in the hot weather.
All the rest. We were put in a room (106) with "views" on cracked walls around us. On the roof was some sort of ventilation exit, probably from a kitchen. It made an awfull noise day and night. When you put your head on the pillow it vibrated your brain away. Because we had driven 900km to get there we were so tired we slept more or less anyway. The next night however we were awake most of the nicht. Ear plugs helped a bit, but the resonance of the machine throughout the room and into our heads made us very tired. The room itself was very tired too. The curtains came of the rail at several points. Some of the sockets did not work. The bed was the only thing remotely comfortable. At check out, the girl just said nothing was her fault. The staff in general did not seem to care much. The breakfast room was tired too. Cleaning staff have no room to manouver around the very narrow corridors, so they leave everything - sheets, towls, etc - on the floor of the corridors, so if you are not stable on your legs, you might fall and injure yourself. If you decide to visit this hotel, I jave no judgment on other rooms, but at least do AVOID ROOM 106 and (if any) above it at all cost!
Well located by place Erlon with good underground parking nearby. Once we could find anyone at reception on leaving we were given a small discount for poor service.
As the rooms was advertised as reduced from 250€ the hotel and room was a huge disappointment. 2 room lights did not work and one outside the entrance hall to bathroom was not replaced leaving it dark. TV remote batteries were flat and needed changing. Room was drably decorated. Narrow stairs up to the room was dark with no switch until the top. There was a displaced ceiling tile leaving a dark hole near our room.
Our room was dirty, staff unfriendly and all in all just hated even being in the room. Was disgusting! Room 207 was our Room in case the hotel are reading this, was like a bad joke being played on us. Just horrible and put a big dent in the experience of the lovely wedding we were attending
Decor very shabby, patched up ceiling were there had been a recent leak. The two electric sockets were the television was plugged in to did not work so it had to be plugged in elsewhere. Then when I turned the light off in the hallway the television turned off.
Close to the conference center, close to the city center
view from the room (on the roof)
The room was small and the bathroom was very small.
Hotel badly needs a refit/refurbishment. Rooms were tired and needed maintenance
Vergogna! Don't go to this hotel, it was the filthiest place i have ever seen, with hair and webs everywhere and the toilet covered with excrements. Stains everywhere. The room stank of cigarettes, the staff was annoyed at our requests of generic information because he was busy talking on the phone. Poor insulation, it gets very loud at night if you have a room om the main street. My only advice, avoid this dump. With the money they charge you can find a much better accomodation.
No restaurant or bar, had to move room because first one was dirty shower hanging off wall, net curtain very dirty and torn, carpet needed replacing. would use again but only overnight
Nothing, we cancelled our booking and had to pay for the first night, We were only there for an hour. Very poorly maintained, air-conditioning in the first room we were allocated was disgusting, filters hadn't been changed in years. The wi-fi also didn't work. Second room was in the attic with no air conditioning. That finished us we booked out. Also the safes didn't have locks. The corridor lighting was awful and the place was like a "rabbit warren". If there was a fire it would be disastrous, couldn't find instructions as to where to fire escapes were.
Nothing about this place at all.
Location, easy access for wheelchair and good parking. Fantastic spa attached to hotel.
location and price were perfect
Room was dirty. Shower head wouldn't stay up so had to hold it when showering. Toilet leaked. When we told the lady at reception and asked if we could have another room as the hotel was almost empty she said no. she will send the maintenance man up. He never turned up.
The light switch in our corridor did not work. We had to use our own torch to find the stairs. Air con turned off and the room was very musty since the window would not open. No wifi in our room.
Close to train station & downtown
Noise level (but we had a room facing the street) and quality of room (beds were so-so)
dirty room, bad bathroom,
We appreciated a very personal and respectable attitude to us. The personal organized a nice champaign tour for us, provided advices regarding point of interests in Reims. It was a really family atmosphere in the hotel
