First and foremost we loved Isis the resident cat. Excellent location within 50 metres of St Michel metro station and scores of inexpensive restaurants. Good price considering the location and time of year (Christmas / New Year period). Decent sized shower with good pressure, temperature and modern fittings and was it useful having a closet in the room. Sleep was interrupted in one way or another on every one of our 9 nights' stay there due to the paper thin walls on both the inside and outside of the hotel. Wifi not included. Breakfast not included. While the room's decor was modern the wooden floor and weird smell made it feel dirty.

Location, clean rooms. The hotel doesn't offer free wifi, although the price for the room isn't cheap. We kindly asked the reception to let us use their computer, just to make web check in, and they told us that we had to pay for it. Unacceptable.

This friendly hotel is located in a great location in Latin Qtr, just south of the Seine & N. Dame, just off Bvd St Michel, a few mins walk from Metro/RER St Michel, so always easy to find your way home. There are a few nice casual cafes closeby on b St-Michel, to have a quick breakfast of juice, yogurt, croissant & coffee etc.before heading off to explore this city of outstanding architecture & wonderful museums & parks. The reception and restaurant staff are exceptionally helpful & friendly.Although right in the centre of a buzzing restaurant street, the room was quiet with window shut. Views into the street are classic Paris. A lovely hotel I would return to & recommend.

An excellent location. Lots of restaurants nearby. The mattress on the bed was hard and covered in plastic making it very uncomfortable. The wood floors echoed any sounds.

The location was the only part we liked about this hotel. However, the hotel is not worth the price for this location. Well here we go.. Firstly, the rooms were in poor shape, very run down and not up to the hygenic standard expected. Secondly, the air conditioning in the room didn't work and only circulated dust. Thirdly, the internet is expensive, slow and had a stupid login system that cuts out every 30mins. It is a requirement that you leave your room key at reception when you go out during the day. The first day we were there, we left our room with the do not disturb sign up as we hadn't tidied our room and didn't want housekeeping making our bed. When we got back, housekeeping had made up our room, and touched/moved all of our belongings. When reception were notified that this was not what we had wanted, we were offered no apology and pretty much told 'bad luck'. I did not leave my key at reception one more time after that. This wasn't our first visit to Paris, and having stayed in a similar priced hotel last time we thought the amenities and overall lack of service here was very poor.

Very convenient location, next to metro and rer both for transportation within the town and to/from the airport. It was quite clean with a wooden floor and not a carpet which I have read that usually smell in Paris hotels. The room was extremely small to my opinion, should only to be given for a single occupacy. Two suitcases could not fit and we literally had to jumb over one suitcase to reach the bathroom. We had room 218 in which the window was facing the area with the air condition establishments, not the street. The wooden floor was making crack noises and we could also hear this from the room above us. Also the bathroom was simply a corridor; the distance from the washing bin till the door was not more than 50 cm! For breakfast, we went donw half an hour before the closing time and there were not many things left and they did not seem to re-fill anything, so for 12 euros each it was not worth it, better try the Paul coffee shop just across the street. To my opinion, not worth the money they charged overall...If I chose again, I would go a bit outside the city cetnre for a more decent room since the metro network is perfect, the ticket is only 1,70 euros and you can reach everything by metro.

The best place in the city to be. Close to the Notre Dame church and other monuments. Nice restaurants on the street. Very clean and renovated hotel. The bathroom had a ceiling shower besides the european shower (what most hotels in Europe don't have). The internet could be free.

Good location. Early check in was possible. Friendly staff. Safe. Comfy bed covers. No iron or ironing board in the whole hotel. No towel rail for towels. No spare plug sockets. Room was smelly. This room was 'under the roof' on the 6th floor, so it might be a different case for the other rooms on other floors.

Exce.llent location, close to lots of shops, restaurants, Notre Dame and train station. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean. Was very noisy. Between the renovations going on during our stay and floor boards in the rooms, it was noisy. Pretty small room, but didn't really bother us as we were there to go sight seeing.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The room which we had was fantastic and had such a beautiful balcony overlooking the nightlife of the area. The bed was extremely comfortable and lovely hot showers. The hotel is in such a good location as there are many restaurants within a stones throw and it was like being in Little Venice with the Seine River running through. I would recommend this hotel and hope to stay there again

Nothing can beat the location and the price is very good as well. Will recommend this hotel to my friends for sure. I wish there were a coffee maker in the room to make tea or coffee in the morning. However, the receptionist suggest us to get hot water downstairs at the restaurant. It turned out fine.

Balcony facing street if u like ppl watching, u can just sit there sip on coffee and doing just that. Also very near to rer. Conveniently connecting to metro/whole of Paris. With windows opened, it can be quite noisy.

A great little hotel on the Left Bank. Great location, close to many of the Paris drawcards eg Notre Dame, The Louvre, Pont Neuf, the Seine, St Michel & St Germain and on and on!!! The room was comfortable and the bed good. Stayed her 20 years ago - has been refurbished and still lovely. We would stay here again.

This Hotel was extremely well located - superbly located. Everything to make a trip to the heart of Paris great was on hand - easy walk to Notre Dame and a mass of other sights, great eating from budget to top shelf all close at hand, safe area - just great for families, couples or individuals. The metro was only a short walk from the hotel. The Hotel itself was adequately appointed and clean. We had two rooms & one was relatively large by Paris standards - but a room is a room - location was the number one factor - you would struggle to do better.

Nice room for the price in a great location and staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel room was very hot with no way to adjust temperature. We had to open window to ventilate which would have been fine except for the noise of cars and large groups of people throughout the night. We did change rooms but had same problem. When the windows were closed it did block the noise. Would recommend inside room.

It's location, the friendly staff, the very nice rooms, and your cat, Isis! Lacks free WiFi, but understand that it will come in Jan 2012. More pictures on the walls of the rooms would enhance the beauty and warmth at little cost.

The location was excellent. I dropped in Paris for transit. From the airport CDG, it takes 0.5 hour by direct train transportation. Room was spacious and stylish. Bathroom and air-conditioner need urgent renovation. Water from the stylish shower wasn't hot. The toilet lid was broken. The room was so cold that I kept wearing my sweater in the bed. Besides, it was a bad luck to have seen a cockroach in the bathroom.
