Hôtel Albe Saint Michel is in a central location, in the heart of Paris’ Latin Quarter, by the Seine River. It is 5 minutes from Notre Dame Cathedral and the chic Saint-Germain-des-Prés district.
Score from 664 reviews Very good
In the lively Latin Quarter, this hotel offers elegant guest rooms equipped with a TV, some with a balcony. It is 120 yards from Cluny - La Sorbonne Metro and RER B Station.
Score from 892 reviews Very good
In a Haussmannian-style building, this 3-star hotel is located across from the Maison de la Mutualité and 230 yards from the Cardinal Lemoine metro station.
Score from 1548 reviews Very good
This hotel is on Paris’s Left Bank, less than a quarter mile from Notre Dame Cathedral and a 25 minute walk from the Louvre and the Musée d’Orsay museums. Some rooms feature views of the cathedral.
Score from 426 reviews Very good
Location, could walk to many places of interest.and close to the Metro. Good ambience in the Latin Quarter, wide choice of reasonably priced restaurants that are an easy walk to in the evening
no tea/coffee facilities in room. Fixed shower head and it needed the limescale removed. Ensuite had no hooks to hang clothes on
The hotel is really charming and cosy. The location could not be better! There's a train station for the RER B Charles de Gaule three minutes walking from the hotel and also a metro station within the same distance, nevertheless it's possible to reach most of the tourist attractions by feet :). I would stay there again for sure.
Although the room was very nice, it's possible to hear every single noise that comes from the hallway and the other rooms, and it can be specially annoying when the cleaning lady turns on the hoover :(.
Great Location Great Restaurant Attached 2 minute walk from St Micheal Metro Comfy Beds
Wifi but not great No kettle in room - no big deal really. Bathrooms could do with a better clean and updating
Everything nice, we really recomend the Europe Saint Severin Hotel
Without a place to put the soap and shampoo in the shower
Located close to cafés, bars and shops. Easy walk to many attractions. Staff helpful.
For the price it was hard to complain, but the room was small.
Lovely to find a hotel with modern comfort and facilities (speaking as a tourist and not business traveller) without having had the old character ripped out of the building. As expected, our room on the 2nd floor was not large, but had a charming balcony with tiny table and chairs overlooking the cobbled side street and some of the many local restaurants. Well sound-insulated window, and we weren't aware of other guests during the night. VERY helpful and naturally friendly staff - all spoke English.Well located in the Latin Quarter near 'St Michel' on Metro line 4, linking many tourist attractions, as well as being near the Seine, Notre Dame & Musee d'Orsay. 30 mins direct on RER from CDG airport - minimal walking.
Can't think of anything at all!
Fantastic location just near the RER to airport, and Metro. Friendly staff. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Easy to walk to lots of sights. Breakfast was very nice. Great beds and very hot shower in clean and modern bathroom. Overall found it very nice and comfortable for our 4 day visit.
Room was a bit stuffy (no air con late October but unusual warm weather) There was an occasional strange ammonia like smell from bathroom. Running taps cleared it. No coffee making facility.
Great central location Staff friendly and helpful Room clean and spacious for central paris
The location, the staff (everybody was so helpful and nice), the bathroom was modern, the breakfast was really good.
Cannot think of anything
The location was excelent, and the bed was confortable.
I was in a single room that had a machine just outside the window. The sound was not loud, but it took me a while to get to sleep.
Each of the front desk staff at the Europe San Severin went out of their way to help us as much as they were able with all of our questions and concerns. They provided a warm and welcoming first stop in our European vacation. Really nice people.
The wifi connection drove us crazy. It was consistently in and out. This was our first experience in Europe with my new smart phone and French sim card (no translation of any sim card messages from "Orange)," so the weak wifi made the situation even more frustrating. Also, the huge bath tube was tricky to climb into -- I'd ask for a shower if I returned.
Optional breakfast was good. Pierre at the front desk was very helpful.
Room could use better lighting.
Amazing location, tremendous staff, lovely atmosphere.
Superb location Helpful friendly staff Comfortable hotel
Noisy bin collections in street at 6.30am
Desk personal were a huge help. Airline had lost our luggage and the desk personal kept us in touch with insurance, airline and travel agent. Help us find places in the city to buy clothes and places to eat. The hotel was close to everything, sight seeing and restaurants very convenient.
We loved the personal at the hotel, the hotel itself was great! We didn't have any dislikes
The location was terrific, with easy access to the subway. Te staff was ultra pleasant and helpful.
The only glitch was having to sign in again on the wifi if you leave it for a few minutes.
The location, ease of getting to and from the airport. We were two blocks from where our friend, JCh Millot was performing a classical piano concert. Fun to walk and mingle with the crowds. Good food everywhere. We spent our first night in Paris before leaving for Normandy and contacted the hotel from there to reserve a room our last night. We would head here again without question on a next trip to Paris.
We actually liked it all -- our first night we laughed at the size of the bathroom -- one could REALLY sit and throw-up at the same time.
Excellent staff service, lovely room, clean and in great location.
Our room (614) was spacious and quiet with pleasant rooftop views. It is an attic room so be prepared to duck occasionally (I'm 6ft and wasn't bothered). No bath, only a shower, but roomy and who needs a bath when on holiday? Staff, particularly Emma, were very helpful and multi-lingual. A very short walk from St. Michel metro/RER station.
Breakfast. The coffee was awful. The breakfast itself was sparse, not very appealing and not worth the 12 euros asking price. Best to have a coffee and snack at one of the many nearby cafes.
Comfortable bed, modern bathrooms, excellent service from front desk and maid service
Typical small Parisian room size (not a complaint) Surrounding restaurants were tourist traps and unauthentic - had to walk a bit for better places to eat.
Amazing location very near the St. Michel-Notre Dame metro station, just across the bridge from Notre Dame and in the heart of the Latin Quarter. Friendly, knowledgeable staff who spoke English, but were happy to tolerate me attempting to speak French! The lobby exudes a very warm and welcoming atmosphere and we loved the cat in the lobby! (She obviously runs the place!)
It's hard to find something we didn't like. The room was small - but no smaller than we expected. The street was noisy - but we loved falling asleep to the sound of the street musicians. The location (Latin Quarter) was very crowded - but that added to the excitement and energy of the area.
Central, clean, excellent staff
The hottest shower I've ever had in any hotel and the most comfortable bed by far in any hotel. Excellent location. Couldn't fault a thing.
The bathroom was small but to be expected of a hotel in Paris
